Do any of you have trouble with being tired all of the time? I am soooo tired, every day. It's difficult for me to get in 2 cardio workouts per day. I usually go to bed around 9:30 pm and am up between 4:30 and 5:00 am.

Happy Friday everyone. I am looking forward to this long weekend! It's a little jam-packed but it's all good. Rick won a party-prize pack for 10 to Hooters ( * ) ( * ) from a radio station so we may do that on Monday. My sis and BIL just moved into their new house so she's having a housewarming on Sunday, Sat. is up in the air, maybe just for relaxing? I've been super busy w/work and all (and that's a good thing) and I haven't been able to get here too often. I'm still lurking, just don't have much time to post.

Welcome jackieO ! That's a cool name for a person living in an awesome town. We're a friendly bunch here, glad you could join us.

Holly I used to be tired all the time (in bed by 8 and up at 5), but when I changed my diet and started exercising, my energy levels just shot up. I also started taking a daily multi-vit. We're busy women--with jobs, kids, homes. Who wouldn't be tired? But really, maybe you should just check it out w/your dr. **I haven't tried Slim-a-bear, but I have had skinny cows. Any ice cream that's low-fat and tastes good I'll try . Oh yeah, you look great in your pics!

Kempy, my dad used to have a giant sombrero like that! Geesh, now you've got me jonesing for a margarita or something. Ole!

Blagh...I've got a salesman at my door, gotta run for now.

Hi to everyone!!! I'll be back later.

Happy Friday everyone! Holly I hear ya, sometimes I am so tired I just want to lay down for fifteen minutes and if I get the luxury to do so I feel so much better. I try not to have caffeine but if I am really dragging I'll have a soda or coffee. I'm not happy I did not lose this week, oh well probally water retention. Have a good holiday weekend everyone: Tonya, Dips, Angie, Noelle, Holly, Kempy, Jackie and anyone else who I forgot. Julie

YEAH NOELLE!!!!! I am going to give it another shot myself. If I can just get the mindset going the rest will follow. I have4 months until Florida and probably 20 pounds to lose and it wont go anywhere unless I try harder.

Heya everyone! I weighed myself at my mom's house yesterday, and it said 147, and yesterday at my house, it said 149! So, this morning, I decided to weigh myself on my scale, it was a little later in the day since I am home, and it said 148.5. So, I am not sure what # to use. I would LOVE to use the # on my mom's scale (both of our scales are digital), but, am not sure which one is accurate. I guess I should probably stick with the # at my house since that is where I normally weigh in. So, that would mean I went from 153.5 on August 1 to 148.5 on August 31, 5 pounds! Not as much as I would have liked, but, I'll take it. Losing weight seems to be such a challenge! I LOVE food, so, it is really hard for me to make smart decisions. I have taken away my cheat meal or dessert, and it seems to be helping.

Angie,

I am sorry you are having such a rough time. Believe me, I have been there! I easily get discouraged and upset with myself when I do make poor decisions. I KNOW you have the will to do this, look how far you have come!

Hi guys! Noelle great job staying op, congrats on the loss Holly, Angie you should be so proud of yourself for all the weight you have lost. I was looking through the old posts and you really look great. (you all do) Tonya I love your long hair!!
It takes a strong person to lose weight!
Me I am not feeling to well, this pms is killing me! Feel so bloated and yucky. I have been thinking how did I let myself go and gain thirty pounds just like that. I can only blame myself for overeating and lack of excercise. Food can be so comforting. I have lost eight pounds though in the last three months so I shouldn't be so hard on myself. I am baking a couple of pot roasts today, hubby wants barq beef sandwiches and I will freeze the rest to have on a busy weeknight. I hope everyone is having a nice weekend. Bye for now. Julie

WAY TO GO HOLLY!!!! WOOHOO!!!! That is a great amount of weight to have lost! Good job.

Julie, You sound like me. I got down to 138.5 on June 16 and since then I have been off diet mode and I dont dare to actually step on the scales. This is the exact same thing I did last time I got down to 130. I have lost the mindset. What bothers me the most is not being able to say no. I feel so in control whan I am in diet mode and I miss that. BUT....... Tomorrow is a new month, summer is over and we can all start from scratch again.

Today has been okay. Lobsters are cooking so my supper is set for the next 2 nights so that should help a little bit. I also bought some red delicious apples and lowfat popcorn for the week so maybe just maybe I can crawl back on the wagon and start over.

Ciao Ladies,

I've been out lately because my PC was acting up on me, but I'm back now so let's catch up.

Jackie- If I haven't already I want to welcome you to the forum.

Angie- It seems that this past month you've been bumed about one thing or another Today is the first of the month...we start fresh today

Julie- How are you feeling today, Love? Better I hope. That ugly PMS only lasts a few days so it will all be over soon. I have to keep telling myself that because mine is on it's way

Holly- Why not just use the midle number to be nice and neutral. I hate scales that tell me something different from my own. Who knows which one to believe in

Noelle- I can always count on you to bring forth encouraging news. Good for you on your success, let's keep it going, Girl.

Kempy, Gem, Tonya,Svelte,Cosmo, summer, I miss you girls!! Come BACK!

OKAY NOW FOR THE BIG NEWS !!!

I stepped on my scale this morning and it read 140 !!! I made it down to 140 for the month of August. Now for September I want to make my way into the 130s then ultimately to my goal (125) You guys told me I could do it and I believed you. I'm so happy.
