  • It is nice down here today. How cold is it Angie? It is a little overcast but at least the temp isn't bad. I need to go take a digital pic of may backyard for the deck consrtuction so I will post it for you guys to see how green eveything is. I still want to find a pic of my two favorite plants down here. I will try to do that today if I get a chance.
  • I hope this works

    Azalea

Shoot it looks kind of small
  • This is wistiera. This one is kind of small too. I hope you guys can make it out.
  • Oh yeah, I meant to add that we went to Sea World while we were there and had a great time. I got to feed and pet Dolphines and Sting Rays. That was the coolest part. I am such an animal lover that I just wanted to jump right in with them. I told Joe at one point that I was going to call work and tell that that I was going to be a trainer there so don't look for me to come home. Needless to say I didn't do it. lol
  • Now undies being to big is a GREAT accomplishment!!!! I always take so long in the underware section. I just like to have pretty undies you know. I know the only person to see them is me and dh but still makes you feel good to know you have pretty undies on. Maybe when I loose all this weight I will be able to buy some bikini ones or high thigh or something other than the briefs, but they sure are comfy.... .

    Very pretty flowers Kempy.

I went for a walk a bit ago too, if I walk to the end of our rd and back, it is 1 mile exactly, but its downhill going but all uphill coming back and once you get there you gotta get back. And it was a lot colder than I thought it was outside. My thermometer says 39, but with the wind it is chilly.
  • Our walk is like that too Sandy. I hate the hill part but boy don't my legs feel it. I never buy pretty undies except when I was 16. Maybe I will look for some cute ones. Bras on the other hand, I love the lacy pretty ones. I need some new sneakers too.

Pretty flowers Kempy, I love the Wisteria! I bet we can't grow it down here, can we? I planted azaleas at our old house but they never bloomed the next year. I would love to pet dolphins and swim with them. My dream vacation is to go to Paradise Island,Bahamas! The one with the water world on the grounds and waterparks and stuff.
  • I don't know if it will grow up there. I know that is is very invasive down here. It will slowly stangle a tree if you let it climb up. It is so pretty though. I will drive past some wooded areas and see it all intertwinded in there. I would love to have some but I don't want it to take over my yard.
  • They call him Flipper...
Welcome back Kempy! Glad you had a great time. I didn't see you waving at me while you were in San Clemente but my eyesight's pretty poor. Maybe not as bad as Angie's... Does anyone remember watching reruns of Flipper? (Or am I showing my age?) Did you know that one of the last dolphins to play flipper was named Bebe and 1 year before she died at age 40 she gave birth to a baby named Echo. Just a little bit of trivia that I found.

Hmmm, too big undies. Uh huh. I know that problem. Too big bras too. Of course I never really had much to fill the cups with but now the band is getting really loose too . What I really hate is when I put on some leggings or some stretchy exercise pants and the undies kind of bunch up around the seat.

I got thrown for a loop yesterday. I was totally planning on staying on track dietwise but I got a phone call from the in-laws who flew in from Kauai for medical appts. We took them out to dinner at a Chinese buffet, their choice. Buffet 100 it's called, 100 things on the menu. I tried to stay good and for the most part had a lot of veggies but after eating more than I would have if I'd stayed home and ate dinner, I ended up throwing caution to the wind and on the way home ate a McD's fried apple pie and 1/2 a ice cream cone~~as if the darn buffet wasn't enough. I gotta stay strict w/myself or it's too easy to stay off track. The longer you stay off, the harder it is to get back on.

Anyway, just trying to get a lot of water in to alleviate some of the bloat. Will get out walking as usual today. It's about 76 degrees here but drizzling. It'll probably clear up around noon time. Supposed to get up to 84. I'll be thinking of you gals when I'm out on my walk.

    Everyone have a great day.
  • Hey there. My computer croaked, so we're schlepping at grandma's, to stay connected. Sorry i"m so blatantly absent lately. I'm trying to get back.

Wanted to comment on the smaller undies issue: I loved that moment when my size 8's were too big, then it was size 7.. man that threw me,a nd now we're into size 6.... that's the life I've always prayed for. Undies, that's the accomplishment that really counts girls... and i'm not kidding. It's my *** I wanted smaller, and doggonit, it fially happened, way to go Kempy!!! I'm feeling your joy with ya..
  • Sorry to hear your computer died Chris. Are you getting another one soon?

Noelle, that restaurant sounds yummy. 76 degrees. WOW, I can't wait for the warmth to stay around here. Our snow is almost gone but today was pretty windy out. Tomorrow it is supposed to rain so I may try to squeeze in a walk before I go shopping for some sexy shirts.

Kempy, I bet it is beautiful to see growing in the woods. I love flowing things like that. I love weeping willow trees but they are such a mess to clean up after.
  • Good morning all of you lovely ladies!

It is going to rain here today. i think I brought it about. We are getting our deck b uilt so it is going to rain and make it nice and mussy outside for the guys. It is the same as when you wash and wax your car, it will rain within the next 48 hours. lol

Not to much going on here today, at least not yet. I will pop in later to see if any of you are on. Talk to you later.
  • Re: clean, waxed car and rain.

A long time ago I decided that even tho' I don't know what an Indian Rain Dance looks like, I'm absolutely certain that the motions you go thru when you personally wash And wax your own car just have to be similar to a Rain Dance....cause if you do your car yourself......Kempy's right, it's guaranteed to rain within 48 hours.

Anyone here seen a real Indian Rain Dance ?
  • Happy Kuhio Day everyone
Hey ladies, I got a day off today so I'm just lazing around so far. I'm thinking I might take my son to the zoo after I do a little grocery shopping. We'll see how things turn out. Last night I was digging through all my old pictures and trying to find a picture of me at my highest weight that I could post here. It was really difficult! Rick laughed at me and said "How do you expect to find pictures of yourself if you DESTROY them all?" That was so true and sad. I hated the way I looked for such a long time that I'd run from cameras or if someone caught me, I'd quickly dispose of the evidence. I did manage to find 2 pics though, from New Years 2001. When I get back to my office sometime later this week I'll scan them in and put them up.

Yeah Kempy Murphy's law on the whole rain thing. It rained the day we poured the cement slab and the day we were painting the picnic tables outside. I've never seen an Indian Rain dance neither.

Hope everyone has a great humpday! I'll check back later.
  • Kempy I love the new pic....you are a very pretty girl. Keep up the good work.

Mele, enjoy the day off. And to spend it with your son at the zoo would be great. The closest zoo we have is like 2 hours away or more.

Angie, I know your off buying new sexy undies and shirts. Hope you have a marv. day.
  • I looked all of the internet for a video of a rain dance but I couldn't find one. I thought it would be cute to post that.

Thanks Sandy. You know how to make some one feel good.

Well, it didn't rain like they thought it would. That is good. The little amount that we got should soak in before they start the deck.

Angie I am jealous, I want new undies. We spent to much money in CA so it will be tight for a little while.
