Ok, *I'm* back to posting as well!! I've been on and off the wagon for the past week. Grrr...
Yesterday's confession: Breffix - 1 cup skim milk + 1 tbsp cocoa powder, instant oatmeal (255 cals) Snack - 1 banana Lunch - Cali Pizza Kitchen frozen pizza (325 cals), flattened rice with potatoes and onions (err...350?) (675 cals) Dinner - Chinese food (:() 1 cup chicken&mushroom soup, 1 cup fried rice and 1 cup chicken in black bean sauce. It was a little salty to me, so I guess that's why I gained 1 lb this AM. Danggit! Snack - 1/2 pear No idea how many calories for the day, but I bet it was a lot. Crap. Exercise: 45 mins tennis -------------- Today's (planned) confession: Breffix - 1 cup skim milk + 1 tbsp cocoa powder, instant oatmeal Snack - 1 pear/1 banana/grapes/watermelon (I just realized we have too many fruits) Lunch - Toasted semolina with veggies Snack - handful of pita chips (130 cals) or fruit Dinner - 1 cup cooked white rice, 1/2 cup roasted bell peppers and potatoes, 1/2 cup chickpea curry. Snack - 1/2 cup plain, NF yogurt with 1 tsp brown sugar and fruit mixed in. :) Exercise - 3.5 mile walk. It's a nice, cloudy day today so it should be a good walk. Alright ladies! Hope this plan works today! I'll add calorie counts later on, still need to figure it out. -------- Echo - glad to see you back and posting!! Cape - you're doing great! Way to go! Sacha - welcome to the thread! Hydra - I sometimes get hungry at night as well. My sleep and laziness overcomes my need to get up and eat something. Today is back to school (daytime language class) and back to work (overnight shift). Luckily, I find it easier to be on-plan during the week.
I made it through the weekend with no alcohol (easy) or diet pop (difficult!!) and no off-plan meals~ Exercise: Recovery day (one hour dog walk - no gym) *I might go for a 30 min run on my break at around midnight Meals: Bfast: 1/2 cup oats, 6 egg whites, 1 tbsp olive oil, black coffee Snack: 1 apple, 1 small serving mixed nuts (school snack) Lunch: 1/3 cup brown rice, 1 plain grilled chicken breast, 1 cup broccoli *I might allow myself a black Americano at school! Too $ though. Dog walk ~Nap~ Dinner: Geez, not sure yet. Maybe a shrimp & mango salad. ~Work~ Snack: Cottage cheese, apple Dinner #2 (around 11pm): 1/2 brown rice, 1 grilled chicken breast, 1 cup broccoli (same as lunch) Snack... perhaps a protein shake. I work until 5am! |
To recap: Sat and Sunday, bad.
Yesterday good, but only because I 'moved' calories. Going to try really hard today! Breakfast: Blueberry muffin with walnuts, flax; cream of wheat with added things, diet OJ = 551 for breakfast. Snack so far: Another muffin (Can u tell I'm trying to get rid of them?) and some walnuts = 188. |
Was TERRRIBLE Sunday and yesterday, but I'll get back on track! Hope you all had a great weekend!

my confession for today:
breakfast - 1/2 roti with 1 chicken patty. 1 cup of rice with peas. some yoghurt. exercise - 1 hour of plyometrics P90x :trampo: Appetizer - 1 mango. 1/4 cup of fresh fruit smoothie and yoghurt. Dinner - chicken curry. 1/2 roti. salad. time taken to eat :eating2: - 16 minutes. I thought of a new trick today to really slow down my eating. Between each mouthful of food, I took a 1 minute break. I made an effort to chew my food for 20-30 seconds. During the 1 minute break, i was allowed to eat some pieces of salad, sometimes i did sometimes I didn't eat anything during the 1 minute break. after 16 minutes had elapsed- i sighed and stopped eating. There was still some food left on my plate, just a little bit of chicken, which i put in a tupperware box to eat tommorow hehe after dinner : 1 cup of peppermint tea. Hope you all had a super day! |

K so here is my day... Breakfast - Slimfast Shake, protein scoop in 16oz of water, and an apple Morning Snack - Strawberry yogurt and cocao branbites Lunch - 1 egg and 2 eggs whites scrambled, 2 pcs of body wise bread, 1 cheese string, protein scoop in 16 oz of water Afternoon Snack - 1/2 c. lime jello(light) and 14 grams of natural almonds Supper - 4.40 oz of chicken breast, 1 medium sweet potato and 8oz of water Evening Snack - 5cups of air popped Lime'n'Paprika Popcorn and 1 scoop protein powder in 16oz of water Daily Alotted Caloric Intake -> 1,200-1,550 Calories Consumed -> 1,720 30min Turbo Jam workout - according to Sparkpeople 514 calories burned Hope you all had great days as well!!!! :hug: |

Yesterday went well. I was on plan, I just substituted some foods for others, but I didn't go over my calories. I dropped back down to 160.8, woohoo!!! So I kinda sorta made my vegas goal. I'm hoping to lose another lb before I leave this weekend. That reminds me, I most likely won't be posting from the 13 - 16, unless I get free internet at the hotel. I hope I do, I don't think I can make it three whole DAYS without my beloved internet. AHHHH! :p
Today's confession: Breffix - 1 cup skim milk + 1 tbsp cocoa powder, instant oatmeal Snack - 5 olives Lunch - 4 rice cakes made with flattened/beaten rice (400 cals) Snack - 2 cups grapes, 1/2 cup raisins, 1 slice multigrain bread with bell pepper/roasted potato curry Dinner - Alu gobi (potato and cauliflower) curry, spiced cabbage, 1 cup cooked white rice and 1/2 cup yogurt Snack - 2 cups watermelon That should be enough food so I don't feel deprived. I'm trying to stay within the 1800 - 2000 range, actually more on the 1800 side. When I get back from vacay, I'm going to drop to 1600 - 1800, just in case this is maintanance for me. :) I can't believe I've actually stuck to this weightloss thing for this long! I usually lose and get complacent. Yay to this thread and you gals!! :carrot: :hug: to all, have a great day! I stood on my scale today and to my suprise, i lost just over 2.7 lbs :goodscale: ! i'm now at 165.3lbs - finally hit through my 168 barrier! i've been 168lbs for over 2 weeks. I really pushed myself hard these past 2 days during my workout, i kept thinking of Jillian or Bob shouting at me, to keep pushing, keep digging, and not to stop. i really wanted to lose some weight before the first weigh in for the BL challenge!! I hope the weight loss is real though!!! i'm scared that its not real and come tommorow, i will be back at 168 again! I was very careful with my diet yesterday. I guess time will tell.
