No matter how hard I try, I cannot force myself to eat any orange fruits or veggies. In my head I know how healthy carrots and sweet potatoes are, I just can't stomach them. Which is funny because this is my favorite emoji on here:

Hello all! I struggle with veggies. My go-to's are usually carrots and spinach. As much as I have tried to do different recipes, I have a really hard time with asparagus and kale.

I love most vegetables, otherwise I don't think I could have become vegan but there are a few I still really dislike. I will always hate baby corn, I really don't understand why it even exists. I think beets are disgusting although I've only had them pickled or canned so maybe I'm being unfair. I used to think lima beans and water chestnuts were terrible but now I think they are OK as long as I don't have to eat too many of them.

There aren't many vegetables that I hate but the ones that spring to mind are:-

Broad beans - they're so powdery, hard and dry, I can't stand the texture!
Tomatoes - I'm weird with these. I like raw ones sliced on sandwiches but hate them on their own. I like cooked ones if they're mixed into something and I can't see or taste them (like chilli), otherwise I have to pick them out and leave them.
Butternut squash - I so want to like this but I find them so boring, so bland and such a weird, watery texture that I'd rather go hungry than eat it. I've tried them all kinds of ways, including in a really nice home made curry sauce and I just ended up picking the chunks out and eating the sauce with rice.

I like most veggies except raw celery (I can deal with it cooked in soups, etc.), beets and brussels sprouts. I didn't think I'd care for rutabagas, but since discovering rutabaga fries, I've found that I love them, at least in fry form.

Cantaloupe is my least favorite fruit. Other than that one I like almost every fruit and vegetable out there. I actually like them so much I'm surprised I'm as overweight as I am.
