Lots of peoples have, mine hasn't...

Oh and last night it was possibly the most inoffensive food I've ever eaten - vegetable and wheat free pasta hotpot, I can't think of anything in there that could possibly set anything off!

Hope the best man gives you some space soon!

Mine hasn't been cashed either! We'll go and boo them!

BM needs a good kicking. However I will get home early and go to bed! We just about ignored him last night! HA!

How rude! Can't you give him a gentle hint that you want him to go - like maybe telling him that you're going to have to start charging him rent and a contribution towards household expenses?

Helen - Hope you feel better today. If its getting you like that then you really need to go to the doctor before it gets worse.

Would you believe it, up until 8am we thought it was DH's day off then work called him in. We had lovely plans for today but DH's assistant has gone off sick with this tummy bug / flu thing doing the rounds - and the new woman boss decided to 'try something new' and has managed to upset most of the workforce! OMG she is such a He doesn't know if he'll get a day off this week now. I wish he got paid for overtime!!!

Morning all,

Sunny and still here, may get those leaves bagged later Frus... oh dear, that BM (as in best man not bowle movement) sounds like he doesn't know what he should be doing, just keep up with your wedding work and maybe incolve him, he might get a clue, and if not, you'll get more done.

Helen, if there's still a niggle, go get it checked out luv. My Mum had her gall bladder removed after years of niggles as she was always to busy to go to the docs, after two weeks of her literally crawling from her bed on hands and knees every morning to get to the loo, my Dad stood for it no more and called an abulance and she had the thing sorted, her gall stones looked like huge oxo cubes!

Sarah, shame about hubs not getting his day off, I'm sure he needs it, surely he should be compensated for it though? Or is it getting like over here, and people are obligated to work to live, not live to work?

Hannah has a business presentation at school today, she is all dressed up and looks very lovely. I took a pic to send to Mum, maybe I'll post one here later if I remember...she does look very professional... although her quote when she looked at the picture was "I look like a prostitute".

Pen has a poorly eye, think we'll be trying to find a vet that's local later. It's all red and puffy, the AZ vets told me it was allergies, but it seems a bit bad just to be that.

Have a good day all.

Chris - George had a red puffy eye a while back and it turned out to be a grass seed - the Vet said we should have taken him swimming and it would have washed out.

I find the whole thing about DH's free days totally frustrating.

I've been plotting a weekend away in Edinburgh for my birthday this morning. Well, the weekend before my birthday, but it's close enough and it's a bank holiday weekend.

And there just happens to be a marathon I fancy on the Sunday...

(I'm clearly feeling better today!)

It's at the end of May, the drawback is that it's the week after the Moonwalk...

Why am I not scared by the thought of 2 marathons in 2 weeks?

Well one's "only walking".

More wedding annoyance - the Barbican Centre have decided that Helium is flammable and that I can't use it in my balloons when I have tealights on the table. Stupid THICK (read more about it in my blog!)

Two marathons in one week - you are becoming obsessed woman!

I am SO bored. The weather's miserable so I kept my walk short this morning and it seems to have affected my mood. DH can't get home early so I thought I'd do some eBay stuff but my brain seems to have gone to sleep and I can't concentrate.

I just got my stuff ready for Halloween. I've got my cutout pumpkin on the hall table where the little ghoulies and goblins can see it from the front door and a tray covered with LOADS of goodies. I hope I get a lot of trick or treaters otherwise I can see me polishing off the lot on my own. I'm now going to have a go at making a witches hat with fake hair - DH said he didn't think I need bother. Took me a while to register what he meant.

I've just filled a bowl with cadbury's fudge bars and individual twix fingers and immediately succumbed to eating a fudge - was gorgeous ... am definitely not going to touch any more though as I'm already dreading Thursdays weigh in

Oh Sarah, your comment that your DH made did make me laugh, cheeky beggar! Hope your hat is coming out good. I don't think we're going to get anywone tonight down this little dark lane, but I have a few bags of candy ready, just in case. We used to have hundreds of them in AZ, and some of them are fantasticly (sp?) dressed in their outfits.

On the news today it said parents spend an average of fifty bucks per costume for their kids for one evening's wear for Halloween...scary stuff I reckon, I never spent that much when my kids used to go out.

I've flushed Pen's eye out, it's still red and puffy, so it's time for a visit to a new vets... she'll be happy.

I've got washing on the line, it's nice and sunny and windy, although it's not supposed to be windy today, so there goes my leaf clean up...I'm chuffed to have washing on the line at the end of Oct...amazed in fact... didn't think I'd get to do it up here this late in the year at all.

OK, must go and get a few more bits done....

I'm being grumpy and un-halloweeny. The only year I bought sweets no-one came round and I ended up eating them all myself, so I'm not going to risk that this year. If anyone is persistent enough to rouse me (and I'll be in bed in a while anyway), they can have apples and nothing more (because that's all I've got in the house).

I'm definitely feeling better, but still a bit sore, today. I've had some cheese though in my pasta, so I'll see whether that sets it off.

Fingers crossed I'll be able to run tomorrow.
