I had a lovely swim, and a spa and a sauna. It was great and I feel very relaxed and clean!!! I even have full make up, a skirt and high heels on today!

I lost 2lbs this week. I earnt em!!! So I will try the same sort of routine next week, walking every morning and swimming on my late starts. I'm very grateful I didn't have to scream at the scales!!! There's this horrible woman inside the scales that talks to you.

The famous black trousers fit a bit better this week than they did when you first sent them Ms Frus. Based on current performance I would say another month and they'll be perfect.

Do you wear shoes at pilates class?

Wooo purdy kykaree Well done on your 2lbs

I don't think I've worn shoes at pilates before, some people might let you keep your socks on!

I've just had a spinach and ricotta quiche for lunch I'm really getting into all this Waitrose food I keep buying! I was going to have a big salad with it but my cucumber had turned to mush and the lettuce was going the same way! Oh well, I'm pretty full without my sleep-inducing lettuce! Right off to wash up and bake protein flapjacks

Looking forward to a recipe!!! I really need to start experimenting. I need a protein snack in the afternoons.

In yoga some ladies keep their socks on, can't see the point with that really, I'd be slipping and sliding all over the place.

Nearly lunch time, some sort of turkey thing on the menu, that looks really yummy. If the roast beef doesn't get me first!

Hmmm chewy gooey flapjacks deemed half a success! I think next time I will cut down on the butter and increase the bananas, oh and of course decrese the Splenda I used 2 oz because it said 2oz sugar... However Splenda is less dense than sugar, so I have stupidly sweet flapjacks that I had to put salt in to straighten them out! Oh that, and the fact they're 300kcals each I will get there though... Must keep eating flapjacks!

I had a flapjack when I was in England last year. I rather liked them! We don't have anything here in America that is similar--a granola bar, maybe.

In America, "flapjack" is another word for pancake.

Congrats on your 2lb loss kykaree! That's great .

I did 1 full hour of cardio at the gym this morning, that's pretty good for me, I usually manage about 50 mins but my ipod was playing some seriously good tunes and I didn't want to stop .

2frus, please post your protein flapjack recipe, I love flapjacks .

I don't get flapjacks. I make Anzac biscuits which are oat based and the boys at work think they are flapjacks! But they're not thick and cakey.

I'm so relieved to finally shift some weight. I think I might have figured this thing out, for now, until my body decides to plateau again. Annoying! I just want weight loss to be easy and predictable. Pah! Not gonna happen!

It's weird now, how I exercise coz I like it, not for weight loss anymore. I think that's a positive step forward. I can't believe I am going to Pilates tonight. Means I won't be home til 10. I'm having a lie in and getting up at 5.30 tomorrow As opposed to 5.00!!!

I LOL'ed at you calling flapjacks "lovely"....in a sort-of related story, we've had friends visiting us from England. Last night we took them to their first ever Chinese buffet! They were absolutely astonished at what was on the buffet--crab legs, salmon, roast beef, shrimp, sushi, and just about every Chinese dish known to man. My friend Paula kept saying after every bite: "This is LOVELY! " I just grinned! It was like being with little children!

Blimey! Have they not had anything like that here? Where do they live???? We certainly have Chinese Buffet places in UK - some places are lousy with them!!!

Kyk - I love anzac biscuits - my aussie friend gave me a recipe. I remember their being golden syrup and -cannot remember if it was bicarbonate or baking powder but it mad the ingreadients fizz and I got worried - even tho' she warned me it would happen! They turned out great though. Mmmmmm!

It is the bicarb that does that, when you mix it with the boiling water then chuck it in the butter/golden syrup mixture. I might have to make a batch for Anzac Day! 25th April before you ask

It's quiet here today at work, I'll be sorry I said that, I'm on my own for an hour between 5 and 6. Then I'm having tea at work, I bought a salad at lunch time, and then heading to pilates for 8.30. Not quite enough time to get home in between.

Hi all, I'm back from my mini-break and only gained 2 lbs - I must have missed some opportunities to stuff my face though I can't think when that must have been . I seem to have been eating constantly for six whole days.

Good job on the 2lbs Ms Kylie - you deserve it! At my pilates class we have to wear socks but no shoes - bare feet are prohibited in case people have some type of footsie contagion.

I'm looking forward to eating something healthy and wholesome now after all the indulgences of the past week...mmmmm, flapjacks!

At yoga we're encouraged to shed socks, so we'll find out tonight what I'm meant to do!

I'm sure your two pounds will be gone in no time. Its fun to let your hair down occasionally.

I've been calculating how far away from "overweight" I am, still 24 pounds to go! Sigh! Overweight by Christmas???

I just want to be normal!!!!

Welcome back Janey

What's wrong with LOVELY

I'm off to my fat club 'party' i.e people sitting round scoffing things that people have brought. I really can't be bothered but I guess I should go to the last ever fat club! Until we go to another one next week.
