Thumbs up

Hi, This is the first time ive posted in this bit but i thought i would say that i have just ran in the Race For Life in Swindon and raised about £50 for cancer research! I wasnt sure how i would manage it when i signed up six weeks ago but ive bin doing lots at the gym etc and i managed to run the whole 5km (3miles) in 28min. usually at the gym i walk and run on the tread mill but managed it much better today and am really chuffed!

I just wanted to say that if anyone else has thought of doing any runs or anything like that i would definately recommend it. It is great motivation to get your *** moving and do the excersise and the achievement of doing something for self while raising money for a worthy cause is great. There were all kinds of people doing it running, jogging and walking some were in celebration of survivors others were running in memory of loved ones they had lost to cancer, it was quite emotional to see it but everyone really enjoyed it!

I am going to do something today. ray is only off today and we are mega skint, so we won't be doing anything to exciting. Am going to try and persuade him to go to one of the country parks and we can walk a couple of miles around the place.
