Well doen Ali and Madam Dotty.

Have a feeling I am going to let the side down a bit tonight - far too much vodka and goodies over the weekend. Can't even go for a walk to get rid of some of it, due to the rotten weather.

Never mind, it will serve me right.

Okay so it is left to me to let the side down!

Only 1lb on. I did think it would be 2lb on so not as bad as I thought!

Visited my friend on SUnday to pick up my Christmas pressies. Of course there was chocolate and OOH yum marzipan fruits. Yes they have been eaten - well except for a darling marzipan pig. How can I eat that?! Nothing to do with willpower. It is just too nice to eat!

Eek, it's been ages since I posted on this thread (or went to slimming world class), so I'm here to post the Christmas damage.

I took three weeks off the diet (eating everything in sight) and then had one week back on before weighing in this evening at +5lbs. Not quite as bad as I'd feared, and since I've been back on the diet all week I feel quite motivated again so I know I'll get it off soon.

Mini gem a 3lb gain is not bad at all for 3 weeks off the diet, it will soon be gone again now that you are back on track.

Well done on your loss Melissa you've made a great start

Chris we can never tell what those scales are going to say until the proper weigh in time arrives as we all know by now just exactly how much our weight varies from day to day...good luck

Ali

OK sigh of relief here. I said last night I felt as if I'd not lost an ounce, and I haven't. But..I haven't gained either, so I am ok with that. I find it strange not to have a loss in my third week though, although I've taken a pills this week for allergies and headaches and I have been told that they can slow the weightloss. It happened to me last year after I hurt my knee, I kept gaining even though I was on program, and when I came off the tablets it showed a 7lb loss in one week Maybe I'll have a good loss again next week.

Angry Weigh-in

Well done Melissa, 5lb is a great loss.

Chris, it sounds to me like you will have another good loss when you come off your tablets again if thats whats happened before so don't get disallusioned because you can't see the loss on the scales at the moment

Talking of scales, I have managed to not stand on them all week so I need to pat myself on the back I think as that is a big achievement for me I've also managed to lose 2lb this week so have now lost my first 1/2 stone.

And I managed to get my daughter into nursery a bit earlier today as there was a vacancy so got to go swimming for the first time since june. Did 20 lengths and could have done a few more but ran out of time as I needed to get to work.

All in all a good day - until the bus stopped suddenly just as I was getting off and I fell over. Embarassing or what

Good luck to everyone else and well done to anyone I missed out.
