  • Welcome back everybody - sorry the trauma of posting my weight made me forget to include this
  • Okayyyy! Here we go. I have put on 2lbs. That is not bad I suppose although apart from hovering up pretzels and peanuts I do not think I overdid things.

Anyway, Wanda, one of the ladies at the club who always has a terrific weight loss done it again 6 1/2 pounds no less!!!
  • I was concerned about posting my gain but there isn't any point in telling porkie pies (or eating em come to think about it) whats done is done, we gotta do what we gotta do!! And we are gonna do it!!
  • Big smiles, although I still feel fatter, but the scales, oh the lovely scales show a four, yes a FOUR pound loss for my first week of being back on track. I am a happy bunny! Still feel a bit rough, but a happy bunny nonetheless.
    YES!!!!
  • Well done Chris, great news!!
  • I am having problems posting on other threads!!
  • ooh this one is working!!
  • Oooooh! Am I a HAPPY BUNNY or what?...and by the way, the answer is the first option!
I saw my dietician and I HAVE LOST ANOTHER 1 1/2 LBS! Making my total 19 1/2 lbs since I started.
This means that I am one and a half pounds off my first target of 21 lbs to lose to be accepted on a heart transplant list should the need reach that point. YAAAAY!!

  • OHHH! I forgot in my haste to post my news to say WELL DONE CHRIS!! for your brilliant loss and I am sending a mixture of encouragers to everyone else....

  • Well done Teel you are a superstar!!
  • Chris..FANTASTIC...what a great motivator...a 4lbs loss
    Teel...you too way to go!
  • weigh-in
Slid off the rails a bit yesterday when my brother came round to cook dinner (vegan so roasted veg with rice, salad and ciabbatta) and the good work was rather undone by several glasses of wine. I think I only went a couple of points over though and I did have 3 banked from the day before.

When I weighed myself today I was pleased that I have managed to lose 2lb. This is since Friday (and Saturday was a non dieting day) so not a full week.

Today I managed to cook veg lasagne from scratch when I got home from work at 5.30 so thats another thing for me to be pleased about - usually I'm too tired and end up shoving a ready meal in the oven. I still have some points left too!

Congratulations to everyone who has lost weight so far this week and good luck to those who are still waiting to find out.
  • Well done Chris and Teel, you are both amazing.
  • Helen..well done...hope i can post a bit of a loss this week and join you gals
  • Hi everyone

still having a hard time dealing with this weight gain even though I know what it is...TOM is still with me and the scales still don't say any less
Trying not to let myself feel too depressed all the time and I am working out a little longer each day to try to help speed things up a bit...actually I am doing it to also keep my mind off it, it seems to help

Hope everyone is doing ok and getting back into the swing of things after christmas. now I've been back at work for a week, christmas seems to be a long forgotten memory. Isn't it funny how quickly we get back into our normal routines...I think I could get used to a routine that didn't involve getting up at the crack of dawn and working all day everyday... Yeah right , like that is ever going to happen

Well done Teel and chris a great start to the new year

    Ali
