  • you're going to jump on a plane and come visit me eh? the climate is great so pack that hot little bikini won't you
  • Woah, I lost 5lbs this week. That's me officially back to my pre-'Christmas 3 week diet holiday' weight. And just two more pounds to go for my 2 stone award. I think this coming week might be less dramatic as I'm going to visit my family from tomorrow to monday (for the first time in a year and a half? - it's 11hrs from scotland to cornwall).

I'm pleased to be seeing them all again when I'm feeling slimmer than normal, hopefully I'm not heavier than when I last saw them, but I'm not sure what I weighed then.

Anyway, must sleep it's an early start.
  • Mini Gem...enjoy yourself
  • Brill Mini Gem, well done on the loss. Have a great time with your family. Say hello to Cornwall for me, it's one of my most favourite places to visit.
  • well done mini gem. It is always good to see family you haven't seen for a while when you are feeling so good. I lived in stoke on trent for 5 years and didn't see much of my family while I was over there because I owned a pub and it was difficult to get time off to visit even though it was only 60 miles away. I remember coming over after I had lost almost 4 stone, I was feeling absolutely brilliant and although I didn't come over with the intention of wanting loads of compliments, I did expect someone to at least make a comment that I looked slimmer, but no one did, until I actually brought up the subject myself and then it felt like they were saying it just because they thought it was what I wanted to hear not because they had noticed and I was really upset about it. It spoilt my visit. Don't let that happen to you. You have a great time

On the positive side, the one thing it did do, was make me more determined to lose more weight and really make them notice the next time I saw them

  • FOUR POUNDS OFF OF THIS FAT BODY I am a happy thinner bunny again this week. Well done to everyone else too....
  • Well done to Chris, mini gem and anyone else I've missed. This is just a quick post before work so I've not had chance to read any of the less recent posts.

I have another 2lb loss today. Should be happy with that but can't help feeling it should have been more. Still even 2lb a week will get me to target by christmas, though I don't expect it will continue at that rate.
  • Well done Chris, Arwen and Mini Gem, What a bunch of losers, in the nicest possible way
  • Well done to Mini Gem, Chris & Helen. It really looks like we're ona roll now! Wednesday weigh-n must be lucky - I've lost 4lbs today too!!
  • Chris, Helen and Shell Helen..you are doing great they say you should aim for a steady 1-2lbs per week loss to keep it off so you are right on target..well done!
  • Well I don't know what happend to my last post! Mind you I should keep very quiet as I am indeed in the naughty corner again. 3 pound on. Still not surprising!

Enjoyed Chicago at the pictures anyway....
  • Never mind Peacock - it sounds like it was worth it!!!! Pierogi & marzipan bars - yum!!!!
  • 1/2 lb off this fortnight, however, I can't complain as the dreaded TOM is due. I am 1/2lb short of my January challenge, which isn't too bad. 3 1/2lb to go before Valentines.
  • Bakewell - it certainly was. Trouble is, as it is getting colder I am still stuffing for England!
  • I am hoping for a loss this week, pleeeeeze!! Tom is due tomorrow but I hope there is a loss cos I have lots going off in Feb and need to have a bit of encouragement, I am getting ver y 'stale' with my eating habits need some new ideas and motivation I think. WW lady not the most inspiring but Sat morning class is most convenient for me.
