I'm back..............
Hi all!! Just a few lines to say I am back. Hope you have all enjoyed the Easter weekend and will continue to do so tomorrow. I havent overindulged with chocolate but my son has had so many bought it is obscene, i had ferrero rocher bought and Dh had a choc orange bought, we also got a large canister of celebrations which he has almost eaten, i admit I have had 3 (Miracle!! plus a couple of mini eggs).
We have had a great time and have ben out for meals Fri, Sat and Sunday so I cant see the scales moving much this week, well not in the right direction anyway!!
We went to York yesterday and had a great day we walked a lot yesterday but other than that exercise has not been high on the agenda .
I have been busy reading all the posts and catching up with you all, I think i will ask to be tied to this chair cos the amount of choc in this room is horrendous and I do not know if I can cope!!
Keep the faith!!

Be strong, TQ, you can do this.... IGNORE THAT CHOCOLATE WHISPERING YOUR NAME!
You lucky thing going to York - I still can't travel that far by car and we used to LOVE wandering round all those little alleys with their wonderful shops. Maybe soon.......

I've only had half a smarties egg and one small box of smarties. This is good, in previous years I could have been a chocolate hoover
Pokeman Veggie as moderator nominee I expect higher standards

Hi Girls,
Well Easter is officially over in this house. I have consumed three mini cream eggs a friend sent me and am very proud of myself. They work out to be a point each...
She also sent by my request a Cadbury's Button's Egg for my kids, which they were thrilled at, and which I drooled over and sniffed a bit but my mouth never went towards them.
I am on spring break this week so am hoping to get near the computer to be able to chat with you lot if I can get the time right, we haven't put our clocks forward yet so we must be at six hours difference for now. I also have to fight the kids off of the puter as they have both taken to sitting chatting recently...and hubby has a very daft game he can play for hours and all I can hear from it is gun fire....
So how did all of your Easter's go? I hope you had a nice time. Mine was ok, I cooked a lamb roast, didn't taste like British lamb, but that's probably cos it was American...go figure hey...LOL!
Hope to chat soon....
Chris

Morning, everyone!
Well, my house is finally a chocolate-free zone again. All the choccie eggies have been given out or eaten (by Kevin) and all we are left with is the smell of some choccie scented candles, pot pourri and drawer liners Kevin thought would be a suitable substitute present for me instead of my usual white chocolate egg - so now all my undies smell good enough to eat - and the whole house really pongs of it which is making my mouth water.
Sorry for not posting much these last few days, we had visitors every day this weekend! The ones on Friday, Saturday and Sunday were planned, but then his family did their usual trick of ringing up at 10pm Sunday evening to tell us that they were coming over for Monday (nice of them to let us know in advance this time - it gave me a chance to get stuff out of the freezer).
I have had too much to eat and not enough exercise, but it was a lovely rest and I am feeling a bit more positive about dieting again, although I doubt I will lose anything this week. Nevermind.... fresh start today!
Chris, How strange.... I wouldn't have thought that American lamb would taste any different from British lamb (or even New Zealand lamb - which is where mine came from on Sunday). I did have roast lamb in Greece once and that tasted different, but I thought that was the herbs they used.
