Right - came in, had a cuppa watched Family Affairs and then did my cardio bounce.

My heart was in it, but apparently my body no longer does what I want it to - I had so many rest breaks and loo breaks and water breaks - but I do feel better for it.

Thanks guys - hoping I can do the same tomorrow

No exercise not even a walk. Worked though lunchtime in the hope of getting away early - hence no walk and I still didn't manage to sneak out sharp.

Will have to walk twice as far tomorrow

WELL DONE, BPH - stick with it... do it again tonight!!

Carol, I am sure you already know this, but do you remember when you were doing your exercise regularly - did you find you felt less stressed??????

Well - I had a lovely long walk across the Moors yesterday, but in a different direction from usual and came across this really pretty sort of deserted looking lake, so I walked around it to an area which looked strangely like manicured lawn (thinking to sit and enjoy the sunshine) and..... found myself in squelchy boggy peat up to mid calf. As I struggled to get out George thought it was a good game so, just as I got free he jumped up at me and I went face down in the same goo. I had to rescue my trainers and then I washed off what I could in the lake but had to walk the three miles home soaking wet down the front with very, very wet and muddy feet!

Then, later, after I had been in the shower and recovered from my walk, I decided to do that callanetics video...... it does NOT get any easier. It is definitely that video which is causing the sharp pain in my leg - I think I will stick to yoga or even Richard Simmons for a while.

Chris - if you get to read this... what do you know about an exercise video in the US called The Firm? Is it supposed to be any good??

Quick check in - just did my video again tonight - trying to make it a habit

Is it just me or is it a "fact" that if you don't do your video for a while it's seems to be really hard to finish the video? I have really struggled to complete the video two nights in a row - toilet and rest breaks. However, I don't want to admit defeat and give up, but have to say that I am not a vigorous with the bouncing as I could be

Sarah, haven't heard of 'The Firm' apart from the movie that Tom Cruise was in? I will have a look at excersise video's tomorrow and read up on it if I can find it.
I did Callenetics ages ago. It did great with toning, but I did manage to hurt my hip and knee doing it, never been the same since actually, so if I were you Sarah, I'd keep well away from it if you're in pain.

Thanks for that Chris - I will wait a few days and give the callanetics one last try, if I get the pain again then I'm selling the video.... someone else can suffer.

I am really interested in this The Firm exercise videos - they are supposed to be really good, so I would be really grateful if you could look it up if you get the time.

BPB - YES!!!! It definitely gets harder if to do exercise videos if you have a short time away from them. Which is probably why they recommend that you have several and rotate them - just to make sure you exercise all your muscle groups. How long is the Cardio Bounce video? I can only jog on the rebounder for 25 minutes maximum (listening to a normal CD played loud) with a few of the other movements thrown in occasionally - after 25 minutes I collapse in a quivering jelly-like heap....

25 minutes jogging on a tramp!!!! that's good going, I'd say. Cardio-Bounce is about 40 mins but different movements, is that right BPB? I will have to get into it next week.

Sarah you must have worked a whole lot of cals off!

Ahh!!!!! But I have to have a lie down after.... LOL!

I don't really know about the calories.... I lost my pedometer while I was out for a walk the other day - I THINK I must burn about 300-350 cals for jogging 25 mins on a rebounder, but I'm not too sure.

I read somewhere that you jog at about 5.5 - 6 mph - which would make 300 about right for me, which is what I write down in my diet diary - I only do this if I am doing a yoga video, though. If I am doing an aerobics video I don't do any rebounding.

There's an auction for cardio bounce on eBay - the woman has set the minimum price at (I think) £2 with another £2 P&P - how much did you all pay for your videos?

Try these links - I think I paid about £6 for my video from bol.com however I remember both bol and amazon were having difficulty sourcing the video
Choices Direct
or

WHSmith
sorry seems as if the WHSmith link only takes you to the site and not to the actual video - you'll need to type in cardio bounce to search - don't know why it wouldn't let me do the direct link

My Urban Rebounding video is 50mins long
