Morning gals-Had a nice easter, but battled with some depressiong issues and didn't eat real well. Oh well. That is gonna happen and I'm ok with that. Plus the gym weigh in still had me at 129!!!!

Rosario-a cantata is a sacred choral collection of songs and narrative that tell a story. The one we just did told the passion story and ressurection (which we saved and performed easter morning)

Sandi-???? Verdict please on your scale adventures.

Angela-I'm right there with you on eating yesterday. Good luck on your new walking program. I jumped right back to the gym early this morning. I want to do another workout later too.

Misti-You definetly have more willpower in the eating department than me. Way to go!!

Wendy-Glad you're back. I also have some serious messes to clean up in my house today. Just love that about holidays.

Well, hope week 2 stays just as active! Great job and keep it up. I'm gonna get to cleaning and then teaching. Weird schedule today but should work to my advantage cuz I'll start early and then finish early. Have a great one.

I'm right with ya Rosario. My Leslie Sansone program is like taking one week and walking 15 mins twice daily before a meal three days a week, then the next week it's 30 mins four days a week and so on. I could do the videos if it rains. I have so much housework it's not funny. Seriously, I have to put away laundry, I already cleaned living room and kitchen, need to work on the hall, vaccum, already dusted and want to work on the upstairs. Plus I need to work on my paper and do more reading for school! Well, good luck this week everyone. Don't eat to many leftovers!!!

Talking Hello All

Well I hope everyone had a great weekend.

It was so nice outside. I didn't do to good in food choices either except Saturday I was outside the entire day and also played 2 hours of volley ball and tag with the boys. And yesterday after I stuffed my face with more then veggies I tried not to but I could have done worst. I went for an hour of rollerblading trying to at least even it out But thank god easter is over and back to being good and watching what I eat I also have a basket no lie and whole medium basket filled with candy and the kids still have some left in their baskets. I wish family wouldn't by the kids so much candy. I have to bring the basket to work so everyone here can eat it. Even the baskets I made for mine didn't have that much. I bought 1 a game and 1 movie they have been asking for and then got some eggs and filled with gummy bears and gummy lifesavers and m&m's because my oldset loves them and skittles for my youngest but that was it and how I now have 1 basket full of candy and theirs is all a blur to me. even for my niece and nephew I gave them gummy bears. Oh well just have to get rid of them. Just not in my tummy...LOL

Well I completed a 30 minute walk and I have Kickboxing tonight sweet
have a nice day girls

angela-your program sounds awesome. good luck with your cleaning (my bf mom is staying with us, so hopefully I won't be doing too much of that )

nik-it sounds like you didn't do too bad with the candy. great job!!

well, I am going home to work out as much as possible. tomorrow is my b-day so I don't know how much excercise and eating right I will get in. Especially if there's cake....my biggest weakness. Hope to hear how everyone is doing tomorrow.

Scale verdict??I wanted to toss it out the window
I am going to weigh in for 4 more days take an average and see what it says. I have been all over the place on it - One minute it's 158 The next day it's 162 and then the next it's 168?? and hubby weighs the same every day - so do the kids- it's agood (translated costs a good bit) and has never "messed" with me before.
so i am going to check on Friday what it says - average it out for the 7 days and see .
had a great Easter- I only ate 1 mini starburst and grandma-in-law made a dessert special for me- SF jello and coolwhip free with strawberries and peaches - very yummy
I am off to feed hungry family AND then off for a walk- Measured today how far i went yesterday and i got in a mile and 1/2!!!!! may not sound like much BUT it's alot for me. I am liking it even if it takes me forever to do it. oh well one day a mile will be done in no time and i'll look bad and say i was such a doofus puffing over a mile walk.

Went walking today. Felt good. Also got some new clothes at the Avenue. I got some great coupons in the mail today and I needed some new stuff so I splurged (just a little). Oh yeah, good news-I got my cat back. He got out on Saturday and I've been going around the neighborhood like a crazy cat lady shaking treats calling his name ever since and finally tonight he came home. I found him under the porch. I was so happy I cried. He use to be an outside cat but since we moved he doesn't come back so we keep him in. I feel bad about it, but I don't want to loose him. I ate way to much (all leftovers) and I feel terrible, but when my bf gets home from work he'll hopefully eat the rest!!! I love mashed potatoes to much! I do have sugar free jello eggs though. At least they're not bad. Well, good night.

mmmmm Mashed potatoes- big downfall/weakness for me!
I am so glad you got yoru kitty back! I had ot have mine put down a month ago- kitty was 21 Years old and just couldn't get up any more. I bawled like a baby for days.

Happy Birthday Rosario!

Misti- Please send some willpower dust down my way please!

Went for a walk yesterday afternoon and it kicked my butt- i am SO out of shape. I read in the threads how there are people out there that weigh more than me but run 5k's and do hours of exercise and here a mile & 1/2 kicks my butt- legs hurt and today is going to be a day of toning & lifting- let the legs rest a little bit-
i keep telling myself this will get easier. i am liking the walking but in another month it'll be so hot around here it'll be WATP for me.
to everyoen else! hope everyone will have a great day!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ROSARIO!!!!!
Good morning everyone. Hows your day starting? I've got 1 hour of exercise in. I'm going to have to wait for the rest because I have to play a funeral this morning. Not the best part of my job, but at least its any older persons so not so tramatic. I've got my clay class later this afternoon and hope to maybe get a bike ride in this afternoon.

Niki-Good luck getting your goal. Sounds like your son has a lot to look forward to at his party! Birthday cake is a killer for me. I'm sending you lots of to keep to one slice!

Angela-Good job on the walk. Congrats on the new clothes. I've turned into a shopping fiend and need to control myself. Hope the leftovers are all gone!

Sandi-Sorry for the scale woes! Dont you just love the female body? Great job on the walking too!

Well, I'm off to get cleaned up. Hope you all stick to your program today!

Happy birthday, Rosario! I hope you enjoy your special day.

Yesterday was a very good day. I spent about 7 hours out of the house, 4 of which I was physically moving and exercising. 5 hours at Sea World is quite a workout, especially since it hit a whopping 99 degrees. I'm a little tired, but I would totally do it again if I could.

Happy Birthday Rosario. Have a fun filled special day.
I am so going to get at least 7 points today. I just know I can. I am going to drink lots and lots of water and do lots and lots of exercising (walking and maybe a dvd) and eat healthy meals and snacks! I made some really good sugar cookies w splenda for easter and i gave them all away. they were so cute because i used easter cutouts. i am very proud for giving them away to my diabetic family. well, gonna get movin!

Thank you gals for all the b-day wishes. No points for me today. I've already been eating all the wrong things and I don't know if I'm going to get any excercise in today (maybe a couple of hours of tennis, if there's time). But it's ok. I'll just jump back in tomorrow with a renewed determination. plus I know I'll be getting some money...so I want to go shopping. Even more motivation for me!!!!!

sandi-don't worry too much about what the scale says. You know he's full of s***! lol just worry about how you look and feel. and those workouts will get easier and easier!!

angela-ooh. new clothes. lucky you. i'm waiting till i drop way more weight to buy myself something new. I'm glad you found your cat. bet it felt like you lost a family member. glad he's safe at home. and those 7 points will be a piece of cake.

nik-that is a very good goal for your son's b-day. you don't want to overeat, but you don't want to miss out either. hope you and your family have lots and lots of fun!!!

Brandy-what are ya making in class? btw...i'm jealous...you're involved in all these fun things....you lucky duck!

lydia-killer points yesterday!! great job!!!

enjoy the rest of your day ladies....i know I will!!!1
