Nik your food plan for the party is a good one! 4 is such a cute age- (Then they get older LOL)

I know scales are I was having a today- it's just messed up.
one of the delivery guys, who is also a trainer at the local gym came in today delivering a package and was trying to talk me out of curves- saying it was girly.. I told him i needed to start somewhere to get comfy and would prolly move up to the gym at a later date. I wanted to smack him - he's one of these really good looking guys who is in great shape and knows it.. (yawn)
he did tell me i needed to stop eating bananas as they slow down weight loss sorry i like my portable yummy bananas it's not like i eat 3-4 a day. He also told me my knees/ shins hurt becasue i am overweight- REALLY?? I have a weight problem?? gee thanks for pointing it out-
What i prolly have is shin splints from not being used to walking and need new sneakers.
I did order something on ebay today that prolly is one of those HA!HA! made ya spend money on a diet product type product- it's called the perfect portion plate or something like that- it's a plate that helps you easily measure portion sizes- it was $20 plus shipping on the regular web site and got it on ebay (new)for 10.00 inc. shipping. I thought why not - it's only 10.00 and it can't hurt to try it- i have real issues with portion control and this may help. then again it may end up at goodwill
Think i'll take it easy today on the legs and work on some upper body to try to get the upper arm jiggle a bit less jiggly!

Hi everyone!!!! MISS ME?....lol....I had my girlfriend and her son visiting from Ottawa Canada for a week. They kept me running I tell ya!!.....phew, sure glad I don't have a third boy. I did fairly well eating wise, and managed a good 30 min brisk walk every morning but I'm sure I gained slightly anyways. I dropped them off at the airport this morning and then promptly went to the gym (like a good girl) and did a good walk/run on the treadmill. NIce to be BACK in the swing of things!!!

Did everyone have a nice Easter? long weekend?

I haven't yet caught up with all the posts yet, but I will soon.

Rosario.....Happy Birthday to you!!! I'll spare you my spectacular rendition though...hehe

Happy birthday, Rosario!!

Sandi, you really should've thrown him out the window. If he wanted you to join his gym, you'd think he would've tried to be nice instead of pointing out problems!

We were talking about allergies a while ago, and whoa, mine are just getting worse and worse. It's helped with my water points though, because I have been drinking tons of tea!

I just had to edit this because I had forgotten to mention that I went to the mall today to get a party dress for a family get-together this Friday: I loaded my arms up with 14's and became more and more amazed as I realized they just weren't fitting. I had to go out and find 12's! Finally, visible progress!

Hi everybody... and Rosario, Happy Birthday!!!

And oh please.. I don't HAVE any willpower dust to send LOL. It isn't a matter of willpower... my elbow bends up toward that pie hole just like everyone else's. Just a decision that I am flat not going to stick junk in my mouth! Not always easy, that's for sure LOL.

Morning gals-Its a beautiful day here in MI. Hope you all get some of the same. I finally get to go to spinning class again. I can't wait to get my but kicked! I have the kids this morning, and lessons and choir rehearsal this afternoon/evening. Not much time to enjoy the outside, but it improves my attitude to see the sun!

Sandi-I cant believe what an a** that guy was! Some people just will never get it and always be like that. The best we can do is try to avoid them. Love your new avatar.

Angel-eyes-good to see ya back. Come and catch up soon!

Kate-YEAH!!!!! I'm so happy your finally seeing the progress after being "stuck" for a bit. Congratulations on the new size!!!!

Wendy-Sending you hugs. Hope you're ok, and getting the bad days out of there.

Off to get ready for the gym. Have a great one!

LOL hey I just realized something yesterday! My walks are getting longer and longer, as I keep adding "loops" to them as I am going faster. But I get back sooner so get back earlier and get fewer points for exercise when I am actually working harder! LOL But the good news is that's great and I am actually not competing with YOU as I want everyone to win!!

Misti-that's exactly what I feel when I go biking outside. The best part is I'm doing that for fun and to up my attitude with some time alone outside. I love seeing how active this group is staying! Definetly not something I'm trying to win, more to keep accountable to someone. Glad your walks are going so well!

Exactly, Brandy! I admit I am so competitive I'd love to win in the group. But it's also okay if I don't because that means someone else is doing GREAT too! And you are right... we really have an ambitious group here! Way to go, team!!!

well from what i understand from a few gym members this guy is in classes to BE a trainer and isn't one yet. his main job now is to wipe off equipment and ogle the girls who come in -so he's a dumb - i know some diet say don't eat fruit etc.. but to each his own-
Kate; on the size 12's!!!
Wendy - hope all is well
I think at first i thought of this as a competition but after a couple days i started to accept it as accountability and support. i really want all of us to WIN!
Well i am off to eat a banana

angel eyes-welcome back. i'm glad you jumped right in where you left off.

Kate-great job!!! I bet you're looking fantastic in those size 12's!!!

A new day, new determination. I messed up one mini challenge...but I am so determined to hit the next 2. I will do it!!!!!!!! My excersie plan for today is 40 min walk on lunch and when I get home I'm going to run some laps around the tennis courts. it's wet outside so it doesn't look to good for tennis. and just maybe I'll throw in some SI6 (oh please let me have the strength to do all that..oh please...oh please...oh please...)

talk to u gals later!!!

Rosario-i love tennis. i played varsity all 4 years in hs.
gotta do lots of cleaning today. it seems like i'm always cleaning, but i love it and it prevents my house from being cluttered and messy. i really need to hit the bathroom and do some laundry. i'm also going to go for my walks and work on my paper. i went to the dermatologist about a month ago. my face is finally starting to clear up. it's still red but not full of pimples. once things settle down with the face, i'm going to use a pic for my avatar. i can't believe that when i went to the avenue and got myself fitted for bras i was actually a size bigger and a cup size smaller than what i was wearing. i guess oprah was right. most of women are wearing the wrong size. my bras are a lot more comfy!!! everyone deserves a fitting and new bras! well...ttyl.
