Hey guys. I am about to leave for work but I wanted to pop on and say hi. I am not going to be able to post later to b/c we are going to a DU banquet in New Orleans.

Noelle that is so funny I thought the same thing about anige's tree. You can tell we live in warm climates. What is going on with the development next to your house?

Angie I saw how cold it is at your house. I can't believe it. We are in the 80's eveyday now. I know summer is really here.

Cal I don't know how you do it, keeping a secret from Ashley. That is a big one too. I know you guys are going to have a blast. Good job on WW. That is what I am doing too. I love it. It is just so easy and it really does work. I have been doing it since Jan 4. I am losing so much slower than Noelle though. You will do great.

Maggs when you said what your temp was I had to think about it for a sec. You guys are in Cel. I am used to figuring Fer. You know we have to be differnet here in the states. I hope it starts to cool off for you soon. That seems so weird to be saying that right now.

Ok, I need to head in to work. I hope everyone here has a great day and I will chat tomorrow.

<-----these are all ME! I just got back from chaperoning a field trip for Michael's class. My ears are still ringing from 56 screaming 1st graders (two classes), yikes! We went to see the symphony (which was fabulous!), then we had lunch at a park near the waterfront. The kids slid down some grassy hills with a bunch of cardboard and some of the teacher's aides did too, they're just crazy. I was wearing some of my good clothes so I wasn't about to join in... it was fun but stressful. Well, at least I did my good-mommy chaperone thing for the year .

Kempy, hope you're enjoying your banquet We are hitting low 80's again, I just know it'll be summer before we know it.

Angie, i wanted to get ghost flames painted on the front and sides of my Murano, but never got around to it. We know a guy out here who does airbrushing for autos and motorcycles but it's a company vehicle, and well, it may look a little too flashy. **A root canal is when they drill through your tooth and take out the pulp or the nerve, leaving it basically 'dead'. They fill it or crown it and it's almost as good as new. Not pleasant, but better than losing the entire tooth.

I have to go back to school to pick Michael up in about 45 minutes so I better get some work done. Be back later.

p.s. Can you believe Mandisa the great got booted off American Idol???? That's just wrong!

Hi all,

Noelle, hows the head??? Nothing like hanging out with a group of kids to realise your own kids really aren't that bad hey hahahah.

Hey Cal, I hope you have recovered after the trip to the dentist. I am such a sop when it comes to the dentist they have to give me a vallium in the waiting room just to get me into the chair. I had root canal therapy last year so I know exactly how you are feeling.

WOW I dont think I would like 45 degrees constantly for so long we average hi 30's to 40's over summer but for us here it is more the humidity that really wears you down. You can cope with the heat.

This is my last day at work for a week & half woho I am sooo happy & cant wait to leave on holidays.... nothing like disney in paris WOW now thats a holiday ! but R&R on the beach is definately on the agenda. I have not been sucessful in any way with limiting food or making good choices lately but I know when I get back I must hit it hard again so I will be back.

Best get back to it. Enjoy Easter everyone & I will see you all when I get back.

Hey all, we've got sunshine......on a cloudy day....... I walked the dog this morning, then washed my car, polished the rims and cleaned the glass real good. I have to do this car justice since we'll be going to the car show this weekend ... We plan to see the movie "Benchwarmers" with David Spade, John Heder and Rob Schneider, it looks really funny in a stupid kind of way and I need to laugh. Maybe we'll hit the county fair as well which got postponed due to rain last week. So a full family weekend planned for me.

What's everyone else up to?

Maggzs, enjoy your holiday and happy easter to you and yours Amen! about being around other people's kids--mine talks a lot but at least he behaves well. Some of those kids were real characters.

I almost forgot, one of the funny things that happened to me yesterday: one of Michael's classmates (a little girl) comes up to me and says Mrs. Costa, I like your uniform, ours is so boring"...I was wearing a new (smaller!) outfit I bought from Geoffrey Beene, black slacks and a black/white print blouse. They had to wear their formal uniforms to the symphony (blue plaid jumpers and polo shirts for girls). I thought that was funny.

Sorry so late guys. I have been so tired today. I went in for one client and came home, took a nap, took Rhae to the vet, went to Lowe's (sorry Dips), came home and took another nap. I have no idea what is wrong with me. I have just felt like I have been hit by a truck. I bought things to work in the yard this weekend. You guys know I never stop when it is this time of year. I have to be in a parade in the morning for the strawberry festival we have going on this weekend. Once I am off of that I am heading to Target. I have to exchange the bottoms of the bathing suit I just bought. I only looked at the hanger and the size that it said and not the bottom. Well, I have the wrong size so now I get to drive back over there. Joe is in CA surprising his mom this weeekend so my plans are pretty boring. I don't mind though.

Maggs have a good time.

Noelle sometimes kids say some funny stuff. My mom and dad used to tell me that I would say everything in my head. Now that I am older I think all kids do that. They just don't know how to stop the flow.

Well, I have a headcahe now so I need to lay down. I wonder if I am trying to ge sick. NO!! I have vacation coming up and I am not missing that!

Happy Saturday ladies. We saw the Benchwarmers last night, it was FUNNY. A stupid kind of humor, and if you're a fan of Saturday Night Live you'd enjoy it more, but we really enjoyed it. Michael was rolling most of the time. A DJ on the radio was saying that it sucked, that it didn't even rate 1 star--well, I disagree.

Kempy, I found a website for the Ponchatoula Strawberry Festival (laststrawberryfestival.com) and I have one question: How come the King Henry "Tank" Powell is an old dude, and the Queen contest they have limits the entrants to be between 18 and 23 years of age? What's up with that??? The kings tiara(?) --yup it's definitely a tiara and not a crown, is cool though --the Queen's crown, now that's a crown. So how long is Joe staying in CA? Enjoy your weekend.

BBRRRR!! It is cold out today!! We went for a ride around our area today looking at the ponds for maybe a piece of land for sale on a pond to weekend camp in the Wildcat but no luck!! We went to one that is way in the woods and let Rebel out to play for a minute and that was so funny! He would run and charge me playgrowling etc. Then when he was done he went and jumped in the pond......which is still half covered in ice. I bet he was cold after that!!

Well, I am down 6 pounds of bloat this morning so I guess my actual weight damage for the month and a half was 6 pounds. Not good but still not as bad as it could have been.

Noelle, The kids want to see that movie too. I will wait til it comes out on DVD though. I havent been to the movies since me and Jay started dating 17 years ago.

Kempy, Have fun at the strawberry festival. I am jealous I would kill for some fresh sweet strawberries right now. All we get are those sour gross ones from California all winter. YUCK!

I am making taco salad with Doritos WOW chips tonight. YUM, I cant wait til supper. I have been wanting to munch all day today.

What a day. The parade was lots of fun. I don't think I have ever seen that many people in this town. We all ran out of candy and beads b4 the end of the parade. I guess next year we will have to buy more.

Noelle all of the parade down her including New Orleans Mardi Gras so that with the kings and queens. Weird I know. I have always thought that was strange. My parents were frineds with Tank when I was little and now he is a Reprentative for our area at the state capital. I swear sometimes we all know each other. We are getting bigger here though. Escpecially after the storem. I think most of New Orleans lives on the north shore of the lake.

Angie our strawberries will be long gone once you get yours. Then I will be jealous of you. See, you didn't do as much damage as you thought. I had a break down today and aet Wendy's. I waited too long to eat and then I had to drive 20mins to return that bathing suit. Well, Wendy's was on the way and the car just turned in there. Oh well, I will up the movement tomorrow and hope I didn't blow it for Wednesday.

Not much else going on, so, I am going to watch some TV.

Hi Girls!

Sorry I have been away but got busy this week. I was a helper two days this week at ds's school and the weather has been a little warmer so I have been outside enjoying it. Today it was only 50 but we went to my mom's and on her land she has a creek that runs through in the woods so the kids played and we got lots of fresh air. I have to find somehow to get the motivation to eat healthy. I mean you think after I eat a brownie with ice cream and get a stomache ache that would be enough. I want to make myself eat totally clean and healthy this week. I know the benefits of how it makes me feel. Tomorrow is grocery day so I plan to stock up on the good stuff, it is just staying out of the goodies for the kids.

Kempy, mmmm...strawberries. I can't wait to go pick some this year. Ours are usually ready in the middle of June. That seems late compared to you huh?

Angie it is funny that our dogs go in the water no matter what the temp is. It is so funny to see them come out and run like crazy to try and warm up, our old lab always did that. Good job getting those six pounds off.

Noelle that movie looks really good. I like Saturday night Live kind of humor. I know Rob Schneider's humor is kind of corny but I like it. Remember when Sat. Night Live was really funny? Chris Farley was one of the funniest comdians, to bad he passed away.

Hi to everyone else. I think I am going to get ready for bed and watch the news. Have a great rest of the weekend.

Bumping us up ladies. I am heading out into the yard for a fun filled day of yard work. I love that I get so many exercise points for doing something I love!

Julie I get sick when I eat bad for me stuff too. I think it is b/c I have been doing WW for long enough that my body knows that junk food isn't good for me.

Noelle Joe is coming home tomorrow. I am really ready for him to come home. I get so lonely when he isn't here. I just don't seem right, do you know what I mean? Maybe that is a little too co-dependent.

Ok, I need to get outside b/c I end up sitting in front of the tv all day. I'll chat later.

Good Morning all!! I got in a workout already and I have to jump in the shower and go to work. YIPPEE!!! Can you tell I am so excited to do it?

Kempy, I specifically didnt go to Bangor yesterday so I couldnt go to Wendy's. I am not sure if I could have turned it down if I did. I loves me some Wendys. On the plus side I did turn down the Edys Girl Scout Samoa ice cream AND the girl scouts selling cookies at the IGA...so small steps I guess.

Julie, I know dogs are weird. I know at home after a good run he will jump in his little pool and lay down and roll over so he gets all wet OR he will run up to the deck and jump in our pool and sit on the steps but I figured that it was so cold out he wouldnt do it yesterday. hahaha I was wrong. He was running so hard and we all walked up to a wooden bridge(You know the kind for trucks that have open paces) He went flying across that so fast that I have no idea how he didnt fall through.

Well, I will check back later.

Happy Sunday ladies I just rolled out of bed and am trying to convince myself that I need to go for a walk Yesterday was fun! In the morning I took Michael to an easter egg hunt at the local elementary school, then when Rick came home from work we hit the car show then the county fair. I sat in a $90K Porsche Carrerra, a $100K Cadillac XLR roadster, a couple of Mercedes, BMW's, VW's, a couple of Corvettes and all kinds of other cars that I wouldn't even dream of owning It was a blast. Michael was funny because if the car had a back seat, he jumped in there where he would normally sit in our car--of course he wasn't stupid, he jumped in the driver's seat for the Audi SUV, the Nissan 350Z and some kind of Lotus. When we took him to the fair afterward, he rode the bumper cars for the first time by himself--if my heart didn't feel faint for just a minute. Before I know it he'll be old enough to drive! I ate too much yesterday so I know I'll have to exercise a little extra if I'm to redeem myself

Angie, good job on by-passing the Wendy's if that's your trigger food and CONGRATS on those 6 lbs!!! And my gawd, GS cookies? You're strong girl! I'm thinking that some frozen Thin Mints would be good for breakfast I know, bad me... I am feeling munchie. When we were leaving the carnival I was trying to convince Rick that we wanted to eat a funnel cake. Instead he bought us each an ear of roasted corn--thank God for a support system eh? At least it was a vegetable!

Kempy, your parade sounds fun. We don't have many here anymore. One of my favorite things is watching marching bands play (I was a band geek in high school ) That is cool that lots of people came out to see it, esp. after the storm. Do you think NO will ever return to pre-Katrina status? I wonder if they will even get close. You know, Wendy's can be a WW friendly place to eat. They've got some great salads, and if you did have a burger, the regular(?) isn't so bad. At least they put some veggies in it. I know most people go for the chili and a baked potato, but their chili just doesn't do it for me. I know you will burn some mega cals doing your yardwork though, you can stay at it for hours. You aren't too co-dependent on Joe, I'm like that too, I'm okay to be alone for a day or two, then after that I don't know what to do with myself.

Hey Julie Good to see you around. How was your anniversary? Did you get your patio set? I saw a nice one at Kmart but I just know the dogs would jump on the table . Playing in the cool outdoors with the kids sounds great to me. anything else planned for today?

Well, hello to everyone else and hope you enjoy your day. I am going to get my shoes on and get my butt moving. Have a good one!

Happy Monday! I am only happy b/c Joe is coming home today. Otherwise it would be the same old thing as last week.

I am home for lunch and I thought I would pop on. We were almost on page 3 I guess we were all pretty busy over the weekend. I know it slows down though. Not really too much to report sonce all I did was work in the yard yesterday. I was out there for at least 5 hours. So, I got lots of exercies points. I was hurting last night though. I never realized how much Joe really does help me. I was moving the wheelbarrow around full of dirt and usually her does that. I just love that man of mine!

Noelle I don't know if NO will ever be the way it was. It will be better. I hate to say it but the rif-raf is no longer there so it is a little safer and believe it or not, cleaner. We are starting to see more crime though so I guess some of the bad eggs are heading back over. I don't know where they are living though. It is really hard to find places. That is why most of the people are on the north shore where we are. I guess Wendy's didn't hurt me like I htought is would b/c the scale is still the same as Wednesday. I think I may be at my 10% for the weigh-in. I am really pushing for it this week. I want the keychair b4 I leave. I know that I will be a little heavier after we get back. There is no way around that.

Angie thankfully the GS's are done selling here. I avoided them all but one box. And, Joe ate them. I just had one. You should have seent eh girls at the salon, thay bought so many. I swear there was at least 50 boxes delivered and none of them were for me.

I need to figure out what lunch will be. I'll pop on later.

HAPPY MONDAY!!! Is that even possible?

Poor Jay has pink eye. He started getting irritated Saturday evening and today got into the docs for some eye drops. I have no idea where that came from but I hope me and the kids dont get it.

Geesh, He is having so many problems with our fifth wheel hitch and brake controller. It cost us $1330.00 to get them installed last Wednesday. Okay, he came home and was hooking the fifth wheel up to try it and it wouldnt latch right so he called them and had to go back down on Friday so they could "teach" him how to run it (their words not ours ) Well after they played with it for 4 hours they decided that it was broke so they put another one on. Good as new on his way. Well Saturday he wanted to take it for a spin to see how it tows and guess what....the brake controller doesnt work. . So he is back in Bangor today to get that taken care of. I hope it is done for good this time.

Me and Brit got in a walk this morning. She is suspended again. I wrote about it but then decided that I didnt want it posted for all to see but you guys know what happened last time. Well, it could have happened again if they hadnt intercepted an email. I dont know what to do. She just doesnt want to tell us anything that is going on with her.

I am making a nice spaghetti and it smells so good in the slow cooker that I could jump in it.

Well, I hope all get a chance to post today. Where is Cherie?

Hey Kempy, We were posting at the same time. Great Job on the cookies. I ate so many boxes that I should be lucky that my weight only jumped as high as it did.

I meant to tell you and Noelle about my tree that it must be different for different people because I would kill to be able to have a palm tree in my yard. I LOVE the looks of those. I actually bid on a 4.5 foot one on ebay and got it. I am going to use them at our campsight in Florida and put them on my deck this summer. I tried to get the 7 foot and 2.5 foot one too but some body outbid me at the last second. GGGRRR!!!
