Talking Japan beats Cuba!

Well, that was a wrap! Everyone will be happy here!! It's a holiday too (spring equinox) so people were able to watch the game on TV.

Well, guys, sorry to be so quiet these days but I'm just kind of busy and out of it all together. But, I sometimes glance through the posts here. Saw Noelle's call for a post and rose to the occasion.

Weight loss just doesn't seem to be possible for me. Not that I'm trying actually. I think I have a phobia to being hungry. I like to feel stuffed! Nah, that's silly. It's just hard to be consistent. I hover around 72 kgs all the time. At least I have that under control. There were years it was higher. Can I learn to hover lower? Hmm...Will have to figure out how to do that. Math! Tell that to my appestat!

Well, hope you're all ok. Cherry blossoms will be out soon here. Now, the plums are. Gotta friend coming in from L.A. next week. She just ran in the marathon there and is looking to hit the pubs with me! Oh, yeah, diet, right.....

Later, all!

I don't know what has gotten in to me. I was doing so good and I was wearing a pair of capri's that I didn't wear last year and I have a 4 day binge. I swear it started with Wendy's. I would do good during the day and then freak out at night. I am scared to get on the scale. I didn't count any points for 4 days either so I know I was WAY over. I stayed home today so that I could take the dogs for a walk and do TaeBo. I have got to get myself back on track. Vacation is right around the corner and I am nowhere near the 20lbs lost that I wanted. CRAP!!!!!

Noelle I just bought a few flowers to put in pots on the deck. I buy them every year to add some color out there. I like to look out of the back door and see the brightness. I just saw a hummingbrid yesterday. I guess they are coming back now. I thought it was too early for them but I filled the feeders anyway. I had a dream about HI last night. I was telling Joe in the dream that I had to meet you since we were over there but we were on the wrong island and I just couldn't make sense of that in the dream. Weird, huh?

Cal that is soooo cool that you are going to stay in something that is like a castle. How is Al doing these days?

Julie we had to buy a new patio table the other day. The other one has a glass top and we had a very windy day. Well, the umbrella was blown hard to one side and it must have pulled the top with it and the top just shattered into a million pieces. We bought a granite table top this time. Now more vaccuming up glass for us.

Red it is so good to see you. I dont' care it you are losing wieght you need to chat with us. We miss you around here.

Same goes for you too Angie. I hope you puter isn't to blame for you not being here.

Maggs how are things down under? Is WW different for you guys?

Ok, I need to get my butt moving. Afterall that is why I satyed home, to repent for my sins.

I'm here...Hey ladies, I just got back from my morning walk. It is overcast and so dreary, I think we're getting another storm system tomorrow, seems to be the norm for the past 3 weeks I just heard from my mom that my cousin's dogs had puppies. The mom is an american bulldog (130 lbs), the dad is a pitbull terrier (90 lbs), 10 puppies!!! They offered a pup to my mom--but we have 3 dogs already, and you know this one would be big.... Kai is getting up there in years and i would love to have a big dog to guard the front of the house, but my sister would have a fit. She's the one who takes care of most of the pet duties. No harm in looking at pups are there?

Kempy, that puppy IS big, but so adorable still. It's great that you get to see them still. Does Echo know them if she sees them? or is it just another dog? That dream about HI must have been so frustrating Of course, it doesn't take much to jump on a plane and island hop to get to me As for the binge, just take a step back and think about how far you did come already. Just start over again counting points and it may just fall back into place. What was that quote I got from one of my meetings: "Imagine how it would be if you threw it all away..." say for example, you've already lost 16 lbs, you had a couple of binge days and the scale is LYING that you gained 5 lbs back--IT'S NOT TRUE! There is no way that you can gain 5 lbs in that short amount of time and have it stick. Get back on plan and that excess sodium/water build-up will come back off. The scale can freak you out so if it does, just stay away from it for a few days--or a week. I had a week like that last week--2 days of barely controlled eating. But i got a hold of myself and just got back OP, the scale went back down. Don't let it get you down. You CAN get to that 20 lb mark by next month, you can! OK, stepping off my soapbox now

Hi Red, thanks for popping in... enjoy your visit with your friend, and maybe have a Sapporro for me? or whatever it is you drink out there.

Hi Cal, oooh, a french castle, your little princess will be so happy. I can't believe your vacation is coming up so fast either. You have to take lots more pics to show us...I can only dream about going to Europe right now, I have to live vicariously through you

Anyway, gotta get a move on. Hi to everyone!!!

That puppies is the one that went to TX. Joe is friend with the guys so we get pics. Echo does see the rest of them pretty regulary. When they see her they fall to the ground and show their belly yo her. I don't know how long that will happen. She usually bites their necks to show that she is still in charge but not too hard. Once she has been around them for a few minutes she stops paying attention to them. They would much rather play with Aunt Rhea.

Thanks for the pep talk. I do feel better today and more in control. My weigh-in is tomorrow but I am going to do it at home. i just hope I can drink some of this sodium away b4 then. I am going to take my measurments too so I can see what sort of diff. I have right now.

Default Arrrrrrghhhhhh, the frustration!

But determination has set in! I weighed in today and was down .8 lbs--a freakin' .2 lbs short of 40 lbs lost. I even went to use the bathroom to see if it would make a difference, it didn't.... so I will resign myself to the fact that I must work off that darn .2 lbs for next week. I was bummed--but I did get more DETERMINED to work this off. I want so bad to change my avatar to that 40 lbs lost chick! *grrrrrrrrrrr* I guess I should be greatful I didn't have a gain. After all, I skipped last week's W/I and proceeded to pig out. Oh well, I am going to do SO GOOD this week, just watch me!

GO Noelle!!! I am in the same boat, just typing out a long post on my challenge thread basically saying the same thing. I am sick, sick, sick of doing all these good things but still not losing fat, and in fact, gaining! I have to face the dreaded calorie count. It's the only way for me. Either that or set menus, which I hate even more. Good luck!

Wink woooooooooooohoooooooo

WOW Noelle

That is fantastic that you are sooooo close to the 40pound mark....
so you didnt make it this week, big deal, you still lost hey & at the end of the day thats the main thing & that makes you a WINNER especially after you had a bit of a binge session that past week or so. You are obviously doing everything else right.

I had a big night out last night & have that 'need' for salt today I am trying to be good today but I am really feeling pretty hungry all the time. Oh well perseverence is the key I guess but anything yummy would go along way today. I know this might not really sound right but I have to say I sooooooo enjoy reading everyone elses struggles. I always knew other women battled with food etc but for so long I thought some of the struggles were all mine etc & it is really nice to read others think of food the same way, use it the same & in many/most cases abuse it the same way.

Anyway work calls,
Byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

I KNEW I SHOULD HAVE STAYED OFF THE SCALE!!!!! I just had to step on it just in case the number was lower. Well, there is an extra 3 lbs from my weekend of feasting. I swear that food did not taste that good. I have no idea how long my body is going to hold onto this but it better let it go soon. I am still going to exercise today and I am even going to work in the yard so that will be alittle extra movement. I am just so agravated with myself. I knew I should ahve not eaten all of that stuff. BLAH!

Noelle girl you are doing GREAT!! You are so close to 40lbs. Do you get anything at WW for getting there? I saw on the news this morning all of the rain that you guys are getting. Hurricane season is right around the corner for us so I know we will be getting lots soon too.

Red you are a strong woman and I know that you can hop right back onto that wagon and keep going. Don't ever give up.

Magg usually after a FUN evening I want cheese. I know it sound weird but I could eat it all day. It make sme feel better for some reason. I fyou don't mind me asking, what type of work do you do?

I need to head to the bank so I can get back home and burn some fat. I'll check back later.

Good morning ladies, happy hump day Thanks so much for the cheers, they sure help! I am up bright and early (for me) as I have to take my car into town for an inspection. I couldn't get a safety check because I needed a "reconstruction" sticker from the County just because we changed the rims and tires ...they like to make a buck anyway they can huh? It's not like we yanked the engine and put in a race car one...it's a little ridiculous to me. But other than that, I hope to get to bring the family to the zoo (and maybe leave them there? ). It rained all night though, so we may have to make alternate plans...

Kempy, hang in there girl. You can work through this. Don't think about that scale. I swear by drinking LOTS of water to get rid of some of that extra bloatation. Make those good food choices and you will see the results pretty fast. Sometimes when you shake up the calorie intake rather drastically the body gets confused and drops pounds fast. I'm rooting for ya girl! I don't think I get anything from WW for reaching 40 lbs except maybe a "star" or a bookmark, but I did get my SAS charm (stay and succeed). You're supposed to get that when you reach 16 weeks, but they were a little late with mine--I'm at 19 weeks. I guess my leader wanted to make me feel better since I was .2 short of a milestone Once you hit 10% you get that keychain. I keep mine with me, it makes me feel GOOD. I just put the SAS charm on it too.

maggzs, at my WW meeting yesterday we were just discussing what we liked or helped us most, and the thing that came up a lot was how women could relate to other women in their weight-loss struggles. It does help to know we are all in the same boat, it makes the task seem less daunting doesn't it? I dunno about you, but I know when I have a bit of a binge, I always feel super hungry the next day when I'm trying to get back on track. It's like my stomach wants to be full all the time... just use that willpower and soon things will fall back into place.

Wishing a great day to everyone

Julie I hope you feel better soon. At least you aren't missing any warm weather right now. We are having a cool snap so I know you guys are still pretty cold.

I just got finished with 4 hours of yard work. I pulled weeds out of the back yard flower beds, trimmed some plants back and re-mulched the whole thing. We went with pine straw for the back instead of bagged mulch and it went so much faster. We over bought though so now I have to find a place for 5 bales of pine straw. I have no idea how many exercise points I get for that but it has to be something.

Noelle I have been drinking plenty of water today. I hope that will show up in the morning. I see that your state is just a funny about making you pay for things as ours is. If they don't get you one way they will get you another.

I am going to sit on the sofa for a bit and rest b4 I take the dogs for a walk. All they did was watch me in the back yard so they need so exercise.
