Hi Girls,

Doing fairly well today, although I did succumb to an incy wincy slice of cheesecake in the staff room at work ... it was someone's birthday and they'd brought in homemade cheesecake!! Unfortunately, this happens far too often, it's ALWAYS someone's birthday and they ALWAYS bring in goodies! I really do need to try to keep my willpower in check (what willpower?!).

Hubby is away for a few days so I get to do most of the dog walking ... my teenage kids do nothing but complain if I ask them to take her out, so I guess that's good for me ... lots of walking over the next few days! ... we really do need a 'walking' smilie, that's the closest one I could find.

Morning everyone,
I have been busy the past 2 days. My points are on the low side, but at least I'm doing something. My sis thew out her back and can barely walk, so I've been helping out more with her kids. Today is my spinning class. I don't think 3 pts. could be harder to earn but I actually love the feeling of completing such a great workout.
I made it through Valentines day with a healthy dinner at home with my hubby. I mixed up SF Chocolate Pudding with some FF Cool Whip, then put a layer of FF Cool Whip mixed with Raspberries on top and finished it off with a sprinkling of raspberries. It turned out yummy and I didn't even feel bad for eating it!! Everyone is doing great. I hope you all have a wonderful day.

Good Morning Ladies ~
OMG Nichola ~ I'm with you about the work/food issue, always, always, always good tasting/bad for you food around work!!!! Ugh.

You all know I'm a part time nurse, right? Well, I usually work day shift and when the schedule came out this last time it had some evening shifts on it which have really screwed me up. I'm sooo tired. I get home at midnight, can't go right to sleep so that happens about 2am and have to get up at 7am with DD for school. I end up skipping my morning workout cuz I feel too crappy. Waaaa!!! I have to figure this out because it's bumming me out. Hopefully, I won't get too many evening shifts next schedule and I'll get back on track.

Anyway, off to drink lots of water and work on that portion control. Have a great day ladies!

Good morning to all!!!

Ugh!! I've been doing so horrible with my points. THe water points are easy, the healthy points are getting easier, but the excercise ones...what a pain!!! I'm supposed to work out when I get home from work, but I've been sooo tired lately. I just haven't got the strength or energy to go to the gym (or at least work out at home).

But today is a new day, and I am determined to get in at least half an hour on the treadmill. Good luck to me!

Glad all of you are doing better than me. Keep it up because you are motivating me!!!!

Smile Thanks Wendy!

Hello Everyone, you're all doing very well. Keep up the good work!

Wendy, Thank you so much for starting this game! I have exercised more the last 2 days than I have the whole month! It's just what I needed to get me going again.

I'm having a low energy day today...but I want those exercise points, so I'm letting my kids watch TV for a half hour then getting off my butt and doing my 40 minute dvd. I will back to report! lol
Lunch was good- a spring mix salad with a little chicken, feta and avacado. Breakfast was oatmeal with diced banana and about 5 chopped walnuts. So far so good!

hehe...Jelyn....anything's betta with feta!!!

Just got in from my workout, glad I went. I started today with my first day of training for a 5K I have planned to do in April. So I get a nice big red check mark for completing a 1.5mile run on the treadmill, 15 min walk and some weight training. WOOHOOO

HELP! I need some encouragement to eat better.

I do fine for breakfast and then to **** in a Handbasket most days. I drink 1 & 1/2 gallons of water (192 oz water to try to quit eating mostly!) and exercise okay (not perfect and never have been lol) -am getting to the gym and doing some videos at home [am taking it easy as was sick for over 2 wks].

My DH and I quit smoking 4 weeks ago and I've lose 7 pounds, but eating seems to be my down FALL. It is all quanity for the most part and bad choices as well.

Next week I'm going to start the 'Eating for Life' Bob Phillips to see if I eat more often with the right mix of carbs and protein then I won't binge. We would count the other 3 'meals' as snacks right since you're supposed to eat 6 times in a day?

Give me some feedback please!

I read through the posts and

YOU ALL ARE AWESOME!

WENDY THANK YOU!!!! I needed this so bad after being sick.

Sandra, You might try a Yoga tape and night to get the bed and sleep better (if it's 20 min you can count it as Exercise!)
