pancreaitis, one word...SUCKS. I hurt, I am missing more work and as I am out of sick time, my next two checks will be, practically nonexistant. I have to see a gastro-somebody surgeon this week. I can barely carry my son, movement of any kind is painful.

Hey there ladies
I've been dealing with strep throat. Everytime I have it it really knocks me on my butt. The first day high fever and couldn't hardly drink anything ..... boy did it hurt to move. Second day not as much pain and the fever started to go away still can't eat. Today it's not as painful it but it feels like i'm eating sand paper YUCK....think there is something else going on too .... my neck hurts and my head hurts ....don't remember having any of this last time.

Tara- Hope your better soon....when is your appt with the surgeon?

i, have my hands full as usual. i have a drs appt tomm and i think i propb will get an rx for pt while them there in case i need it b/c tue i have appt w the brace man b/c i cant function in the stupid arse things nor do they fit due to massive wt gain and as a rersult of not wearin em, my legs and knees and feet are givin me big time pain.

I am goin on the 19 to have a tube crammed down my throat, as if I dont have enough problems...
losin' I remember my head really hurting with strep, I had it every month until my tonsils came out, now life is better, in my throat anyway.

I am tired of people asking me if I am losin weight b/c of this . a clear liquid diet slows d0own metab... and I cant work out, so I am not even losin, damn peoplke anyway

hey tara,
thanks but save the luck for tuesday....thats when i need it . tomm is nothin its just my 3 month exam for meds renewals. it just happens i plan to save myself time and get an rx for therapy while im there in case in the end i need to have therapy to learn to walk with braces.

sorry ya have to have an endoscopy....my gastro tried to get me to have that and i said no so she made me have a barium test which showed nothin.
and yes ppl can be stupid sometimes!!

Tara- I had that done before my gall bladder surgery. I had a stone come out and they wanted to make sure it wasn't still in there blocking anything else. It's sounds way worse then it is. They drug you and you can kinda feel it first going in but then your on your way to LALA land. I was thankfull after having it done there was no more stone to remove and you don't want to know how they said they would remove it if it was still in there :o LOL
I got the strep from my niece. The time before that my nephew gave it to me. Last time I had it was last year only the same people keep bringing it back to me. Before last year I had never had it before ...at least not that I remember. I know I've had it enough though. Everyone else seems to get thru it like it's nothing but with me it seems to kick my butt each time

hey losin thanks. you feel better too k? they wont gimme nothin for pain tomm although the muscle pill does help w back pain. i couldnt do the endoscope...i have issues w gag reflex i gag on everything...lol.

I had the barium test in the hospital, yuk, though it WAS something in my stomache, at teh time I was on water and tylenol diet. I am not looking forward to this at all, I just dont know what else to do, I want to be normal again, I am SICK of jello, and broth. I want a sandwich dammit!!!!!!!!lol
I hope you guys are feelin better, today is my first day back at work, I know they have probably been runnin their mouths about me, great!!!

i personaally am sick to dea5th of everything im going through&the role thaqt lack of diet has played in it all. i have told myself that i am now out of time and am resuming ww as of saturday. i have to, i am sick of literally struggling w every little task bc i cant move. i will do it dammit!!!

GUESS WHAT???????? I ATE REAL FOOD TODAY:D....Took my daughter to the doc this morning and had her tested for strep .....THANK GOODNESS she DOESN'T have it:) Had to drop her off at school .....stopped by chick-fil-a for a kids meal.... my daughter missed school lunch and thought what the heck I'm gonna try and bought the nugget meal for myself ...Not the best I know for first day back on real food but it smelled so good....I waited until I got home incase I had to spit it out LOL didn't hurt YAH... i haven't ate anything soild since Sunday night so the dog got most of it. I'm NOT using this sickness as a reason to eat anything just because I didn't eat for 3 days...everything is getting wrote down now that I can eat. I'm here for ya on Saturday Andrea ...

Tara- You can't have any real food until the 19th? or even after if you don't have the surgery ????? They have to be able to give you something so everything isn't so painful Are you feeling a little better today? other then dealing with the co-workers?

today went pretty well, my tummy is feeling much better and I am holding down chicken noodle soup and crackers and fat free pudding without pain!!!!!!
Maybe tonight I will try some toast,hhhhhhmmmmmm sounds yummy!!!!!
My appointment got cancled, of course they waited unti I got ther and waited half an horu to tell ME, nice
that nugget meal sounds like heaven!!!!!!1

hey tara! glad youre able to eat pain free! drs are so* stupid! i had issues w mine today also. i went to my appt and she was askin me stuff and im thinking grrr why dont you know these things!? she wrote me an rx for my braces a while back and has no clue she even did!!!! got the rx for the pt b/c ive a feelin im gonna need it.

p/t is a great thing to take advantage of, if you are insured. I have been numerous times and it always helped.

hey tara! thanks.....having cp ive had pt most of my life and hate it but the thing is, if i need these braces then i will need a train pt to help teach me how to walk in them. right now 1 step at a time and step one is tuesdays appt to explain the situation and see whether or not he thinks he can fix em or ned new ones.

Day two of normal food and I haven't gained my weight back yet;) I really thought I would wake up and find I gained it all back just with yesterdays calories. Even though it really wasn't that much it was tons more then what I've had all week.
TGIF got to back to cleaning this house...You would think no one pick up a thing around here for 3 days LOL

hey losin:) YES tomm. is the day! im rejoining bc i have a coupon for a 10$ to get 2 1/2 months for 99$ instead of 109 but you have to be joining so even though im a lfm im just gonna redo the whole thing so i can save the 10 bucks....hey 10 is 10! plus i have 7 tickets from a prepay pkg i just bought not long ago so im hoping that by the time all 17 tickets are done im bk@goal. thanks for the support...i need it esp after what i went through this mornin about the braces bc i called the ins. comp. to see what the process was if i need tom start w fresh ones&they want a reason in writing from the dr....this is humilating...how the * is ANYONE supposed to justify having a binge problem&being too fat to fit the current ones?! the reason i did all of this is bc a good friend had a good point shes like is it even possible for him to let them out?(i thought id remembered it being possible but the thing is what if it isnt? and even if he can im sure theeres a limit to how much he can safely do it w/o compromising the strength of the brace so what if the limit isnt enough? and best yet.... what if god forbid he doesnt still have the other 1/2 of the brace?!(the other issue is support for my knees so at the very least he'd be slapping the full brace together again)

yeah actually im pretty deep in. the thing that annoys me is when the ins lady asked if i was gonna get em anyway if they said no and i said no(we are talkin THOUSANDS of $ here) she said then it cant be a neccessity and im like yea it is but what else should i say bc whgere am i supposed to get the money? i was like im on SSD i get a few measly hundred per month

Andrea I needed a brace at one time and got it before knowiing that the ins people would not pay for it. I eventually got a bill and by that time was on temporary disability. The doctors office offered me a economic hardship, which basically meant that they wold eat the cost, migth be an option for you...

thanks tara ill keep that in mind:) glad to know there are still good ppl lerft in the world. its just that im sure the bill in jan. was mind blowing bc my old old short braces were like 2000 sim sure these were close to 6. thats why i was p/o yest at that lady

thanks tara. 2 hrs to go and im freaking out. my mom is saying we are gonna get charged even if they can fix the existing ones and that ins. wont pay but thet told me its covered. its the idea of new ones theyre putting up a fight for. whats up on your end?

My doc the my appt moved up to thursday instead of next week, so that is good and said I could go back on my meds for my feet so maybe that will be even better!!!!

i went to mine and struggled emotionallly but he seems to think he can cut em n let em out in about a week so i just have to wait now. i think i will call the pt facility though bc even w the cutting i still think ill need help. ill have to use early a.m. mwf while my lil cuties are in school.

That is good, I am glad you dont have to worry about new ones. PT is a great route for you, I know it will help. How many kids do you have?

im glad i did call bc they cant accommodate my needs so now i know i must call around. i want to hve a place set so when i pick em up i can sched a eval right away&get started. was hopin to do mwf but a few options entail TTh so i may do that.

Tuesday thursday could work and then you could ask to get a mwf when it opens up.
I lost 2 and a half pounds yesterday. I lost the same on Sunday and on monday only half a pound. On the days I lost more I went for a walk, but that was teh only difference to my day. Interesting, huh. Anyway I am apparently on a roll and want to go for a woaql today!!!!
