Still on track here.....and 2 pounds down. 3 more to go and I'm back to where i was before I started gaining. I didn't hardly drink any water while I was off track..... I think just adding that is helping with the weight loss.

I think we all stress eat....thats why we are here LOL...Way to go on curves. I went there for a while and hope to go back when we have more income coming in. Let us know how you like it. If you already exercise the workout may be a little to easy but you can go around as many times as you want.

Southwest Pork Chops
Brown chops in skillet. Pour salsa over chops. Top each chop with chopped green chilis (canned) Reduce heat to simmer. Cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes. . . . . . . . . . . ORANGE SESAME PORK CHOPS Serves 4 INGREDIENTS: 4 Center Cut Lean Pork chops 1 cup water 4 tsp asian sesame salad dressing & recipe mix 1 clove garlic, minced 1 orange, sectioned 1 tbsp orange zest 1 tsp lite soy sauce DIRECTIONS: 1. Add pork chops and orange sections to slow cooker 2. Mix water, salad dressing mix, soy sauce and garlic 3. Pour mixture over pork chops and orange sections 4. Cook on low for 6-8 hours |

My Best Friend
I wanted to introduce you to my best friend. In the beginning when we began Weight Watchers, she promised to see it through to the end. She is the kind of person that always keeps her word, and I knew I could rely on her to be there for me. When I needed support she was there. Learning the proper portion size was an interesting concept. Together we weighed, measured and tried to get a grip on what was real versus what we thought a serving should be. Together we tried new foods, recipes and some truly awful concoctions and we laughed at some of our attempts. Her sense of humor helped me through. She never doubted my commitment of reaching the goal I set for myself. Together we learned how to exorcize and make it fun, even If we thought we looked totally stupid in the process. Together we took walks to build our strength and go for longer periods of time. It was a real celebration for us when I was able to go another mile further than last month, and my inhaler stayed in my pocket. Today 4 miles is a breeze. There were other people that came and went during the process. They weren’t ready to dedicate the time to themselves for personal reasons that I truly respect, and each one of them truly made an impact on my weight loss journey. It still came down to just my best friend and I. Someone that regardless of the weather or the time of day, was always ready when I was. When I didn’t want to work out..she cheered me on. When I was at a plateau, she kept the faith. When I wanted ice cream, she helped me figure an alternative that was healthy and still gave me what I wanted. I could never have succeeded without her. She never judged me, talked down to me or criticized me. She would never tolerate someone else doing so either. She is my greatest champion.. She is me. I wanted to use the best friend analogy because one of the single most damaging things I hear from people is Negative-Self Talk. Would you tolerate anyone else talking to you the way you might talk to yourself? How long would you keep a friend who was always looking for ways to put you down, criticize you, sabotage your weight loss efforts at every opportunity, tell you you’re disgusting, fat and weak. How long before you’d be worn down by the criticism and want to be around your “friend” less and less. Be your own best friend, and treat yourself with the respect you would give to others. You have others along the way who love and cherish you, but ultimately the most constant and influential person in your life is you. Treat yourself with respect and love. I am speaking at my lifetime awards meeting this coming saturday April 9, 2005, and this is my planned "speach". I am including copies of Climb the Mountain, and Trial by fire. I hope I can speak eloquently enough to get my thoughts out there. |
That is very nice. We do tend to be our own worst critics dont we. I am going to work on that.

Curves is closed on sunday, can you believe it? Anyway I have a sitter to go tomorrow night!!!!!I am also joining the 6-week class they have. I think i will tyr this instead of going to WW meetings, this way I get the gym and its less evenings so I can spend them with the baby.

I had a pretty good day, but got home and dinner was all screwed up, hello pb and j. i did get my steps goal, by 1:30 and went to curves tonight, so not a bad day.

So, even with how good my day was yesterday, the pb and j made me gain like 2 pounds, what crap. Back on teh wagon today, Great day Andrea!!!!

i love pbj!!! i usually treat myself to a sandwich on saturday afternoons using real pb and low sugar jelly on light rye. my day was good too i really struggled&today is the same. though not due, i think AF may be on its way. its the only time i feel the way i feel and have these nasty nasty cravings. im surrounded by easter candy mom left on the table&its really reaklly hard to ignore! |
AF is here for me...now I know why I was trying to stick to that all sugar diet LOL......I still here just have a lot going on. Still hanging in there :carrot:

i know im trying to forget its there....plus theres a whole box of ritz minis callin my name! do you have any grapes? i just ate my lunch and im a little bit better now that i had a cup or so bc they are sweet. its gettin bad though if its not gone later, i may have a small piece. we'll see. |
are any of you on birth control? have you ever tried skipping the placebo week? i heard doing that makes AF go away. been considering asking the dr bout it.

I am on birth control, but I dont have the placebo week, I have a special bc for nursing moms I didnt wear the pedometer today, but I did a full three trips around the circuit and a normal workout is 2 times. I have also avoided junk. Might I suggest for you ladies to buty some junior mints and pop them into the freezer, they are great to suck on! Tara |

i took yasmin awhile ago and it has a fake on week 4, but i remember reading that some drs say to just stay on the 3 and then do week 1 on the 4th. good job! i didnt work out today, i needed a break. |

I have not bought any candy yet, I am waiting until the last minute. Of course the baby wont get any, so I only have a tiny bit to buy.

No I didn't stay away eeek.....more sugar. It was the first thing I craved when I woke up.....AF needs to hurry and go away. I don't take birth control right now but there is a birth control on the market that you only get four periods a year. But yeah skipping the last week and starting a new pack will keep AF from coming. One mini bar isn't so bad ...good for you for stopping at one

well, my bf gave me the one thing I cannot resist...chocolate covered potato chips, he bought them online before I got really going and they came yesterday, long story shotr, I am up 15 ounces this morning, of course my . is knocking on my door as well, so maybe thats it.
