ok so my goal is to work around the pain, not quit bc of it and i did manage to bike 20 mins, and do my arm weight routine minus the verticl chest press and abs.
im hoping to be able to deep water walk in my belt like yest..... i will not give up!!

Andrea- Hope your back is back to normal soon. Keep up the good work;) I did get some sleep last night ...bought myself a new pillow ..it was very comfy:D

Ginger-Miso Tofu Dressing

Makes 1.5 cups
Prep time: 10 minutes

Ingredients
1/2 cup low-fat, firm silken tofu (4 ounces)
3 tablespoons rice vinegar
3 tablespoons white (shiro) miso (see Ingredient Note)
1/4 cup water
2 tablespoons chopped fresh ginger
2 teaspoons canola oil
1 clove garlic, crushed and peeled

Instructions
Combine all ingredients in a blender; blend until smooth. Thin with more water, if desired.

Ingredient Note
Miso: Made from fermented soybeans, miso is a common ingredient in Japanese cooking. There are different types of miso, in shades ranging from white and yellow to reddish brown and dark brown. Miso is available at health-food stores and Japanese markets.

Per 2 tablespoon serving:
20 calories
1 g protein
2 g carbohydrate
0 g fiber
1 g total fat
0 g saturated fat
0 mg cholesterol
126 mg sodium

YUCK TOFU:( don't like anything with enough soybean to taste it. My back is killing me today too...Andrea did you send that down to me hehe??? Think it was the way I slept.

Doesn't take long to heal from that surgery your mom will be back to normal in no time:hug:

lol yes and they best be problem free! theyre ready now...but mom cant drive for a lil while and then shes going on vaca on the 12 and returning on the 20 so i must wait. doint care cuz theyre not waterproof and this time of year, most of my waking hrs arespent wet anyway.
wtg on the loss! and the meds!! ya still on 25? 50?

Hey you two,
glad to see you are doing so well. I had to stay away for a couple of days so as to not pull you down with me. The rejection of job hunting for 7 weeks and no job got to me, I was a mess for a few days there. I am feeling a bit better and am setting myself a goal to get back on the wagon on Sunday, I figure I can psyche myself up. Today was my MRI and I was terrified, they took me out of the machine twice, I hated it, I decided then adn there to be creamated, no little box for me for eternity. I still get the heeb jeebies and its been horus, I know I will have nightmares about this tonight, I freaked out, even after they gave me the valium, terrifying...

Tara- Andrea is right never feel like you will bring us down. I have came here to vent and you are welcome anytime.....Thats what we are here for:hug: You will find something and happy that you had to wait for it. I've never had an MRI so I can't related to what you had to go thru. Keep your chin up it will get better.

Andrea- You have to wear the braces all the time? Even swimming?

I went to my SIL's graduation tonight. Poor thing has had tons of bad luck lately even the camera we tried to use died....so no pic's either :( Think she did finally find a massage job but it's only 9-1. I have a huge headache so I'm going to hit the hay....someone behind me had some very strong purfume blah

We seem to sharing those aches ...my headache is all gone. Strong scents seem to do that to me all the time....Your doing really good losing those pounds. I'm slow losing and I know it's not the meds- it's because I haven't been exercising enough...maybe I will mow the lawn today.....yea MAYBE sounds good hehe

thanks for the support! i couldnt do it w/o either of you! youll do it i know it. glad your head is better. just realized i never answered your ? lorra sorry. the answer is i wiull have to wear braces all the time when not sleeping, showering swimming etc. theyre not water proof which pretty much lets me off the hook most of the time in the summer cept for bein able to wear em a few hrs each night to get used to em.

Hey ladies,
Glad to see you are both doing so well. As promised, I have started ww this morning. I am doing points b/c its mroe comfortable for me, also b/c with my pancreatitis I am limited on some of the fodds I CAN have, so it limited the core list. As we speak there are a dozen 2pt blueberry muffins in teh oven. I am a huge fan of recipezaar.com Any recipe you want they got. I have been doing a lot of baking, it soothes me. I found very low fat brownies, that were yummy, cakes, stew, whatever.
I am still doing my points game, though I am docking myself points for the laziness I engaged in last week, probaly like 100 points, which will leave me with 200 pts.

Yes I hear that:D I usually have a bowl of bran flakes first thing so it's not a habit promise....Just didn't stop to eat today.

Don't worry you will be in and out of the appt before you know...think of what you will do once the appt is over. If you think of that instead of the fear it helps :hug:

Hey I have been eating or should I say drinking my dinner lately. The baby and I are in smootie heaven here, trying to beat the heat. Blueberries, yogurt, bananas and a little juice and we are happy campers!!!!
I am almost down to my pre-pitty party weight, 7 ounces to go@!!!!!!!!

I want a smoothie ...you should share with a friend :) I use frozen strawberries and whatever fresh fruit I have in the house. I had a smoothie phase and broke my blender :( Was a very sad day! I could live on those things ... thanks for reminding to BUY a blender YAY!!!! I think I need another scale too...I have an old one(only god knows how old that thing really is) that needs updating....as soon as I get all the back to school for DD I'm GETTING MYSELF A BLENDER & SCALE...hmmmm my birthday is Monday I should treat myself...how bout it girls backing me up on this one?????? You got it Right Tara...another:bb: I promised myself I would lose 35 before going back to my doctor. I have PCOS which makes us overweight PCOSers have major hormone issues well all women with PCOS have hormone issues everyone is different I just for one know weight is a major isssue with my case. I lost the weight and was able to get PG but M/ced that kind of FED :cbg: the fire and I gained like crazy then my hormones were all over the place AGAIN and my doctor reminded me how much weight can play a huge roll in TTC..soo after 3 failed cycles of no ovulation ..I gave up and decided to get baby off the brain- gain gain gain and here I am trying to lose weight to make TTC a whole lot easier and CHEAPER;) I just seem to be getting side tracked a lot more this time. I'm gonna do it though with you two's help of course :yes:

My daughters BFF has been here all summer and leaves tomorrow evening... I'm ready for her to go home but I know it's going to be hard on them two. She lives in TN and we live in FL so they can only do summers...they have been BBF for 7 years (their 10). She moved away 2 years ago and this was the first summer they have seen each other since she moved away.....we have plans for next summer so I don't think they will get to spend another summer together for a while:cry:......EEKK sorry for the book Nighty- nite

Lorra, we have a lot in common. Before I had my son I was diagnosed with early pcos. I had 5 IUI, the last of which resulted in a blighted ovum which was my third miscarry b/f I had my son. We have decided to try for one more, but not until I lose the weight...
Today I am down to 201.9, which means I am over the ptiy party!!!!!!
