Hi ladies how is everything going? Seem I'm getting a bit of a cold. Throat was a little sore there for a few days and I was freaking out that it was strep coming back. Think it was just the cold though.
I feel a little down today my diet buddy I started with back in jan has lost almost 30 lbs. I've lost less then half of that ...I keep getting off track :(

i went and bought some slim fast......maybe this will help me stay in control a little better. Until i get tired if it that is.

tara- how much have you lost since having to stick to the CL diet?

andrea- i have my niece and nephew a lot too. They are soon to be 2 and 4. I also have a 10 year old DD but the younger ones keep me on my toes more LOL

I am off clear and I can eat these things:
pudding, jello, chicken noodle soup, nilla wafers, animal crackers, tea, cocoa, half a chicken breast (boiled) and mayo sandwich, club crackers, smooties, and sherbet. I have to stick with the fat free version of these things and I am thinking I will try and work cereal in over the next few days. Its a pretty slim list and I am totally sick of it. I jsut want a real sandwich already, maybe some pasta....
Anyway, I am doing better on it. I see the gastro... guy tomorrow, hopefully they can do someting for me.

hey losin are they that protein blend i see on tv? good luck! yeah lil ones keep u on your toes ive got 8 n' n's and 5 are below age 5!
itas so fun though!!

im stuffed i took them out for icecream on the way home. my appt went well and will be getting m,assaged starting tuesdday plus mini massages once i go to pt which i hope will be week of 5/22. depends on when my braces get done which i hope will be mid week next week.

tara- those are pretty blah foods. All but the pudding there are enough flavors to at least feed a sweet tooth if you have it. Kinda reminds me of baby food ...hopefully its almost over for you :hug:

Andrea- No just got the normal shakes. I know I like the regular ones and I didn't want to chance getting the new ones and not liking them. The diet has changed a lot since I was on it last. Your aloud real food too. The real test will be this weekend when I spend it with my family.....they love to eat OUT

omg losing i dont envy you bc its no secret that sf or no sf i have no wp in those situations and we eat out alot on weekends too. good luck!! could you inbdulge and work it off or trade or somethin?

whats up tara? how ya feelin? i just mapped out my massage appts for may/june/july bc i have to plan ahead bc im having comp. for almost 3 weeks so i needed to know what i could switch, what id be missin etc bc i harly ever see them. not too bad actually pt is th area thjatll have the most missed appts cuz massage is only 1 and chiro will possibly be 1 early july bc i was gonna push it off to 7-7 but i think hes off that fri so ill have to just skip it. whereas pt is gonna be like 3 total. yet another reason im hoping to not have to put off starting on 5-23 bc i wanna get some good time in bf i start missin 3 appts.

ANDREA- yes i could but I want to try and stick to it since I'm just starting agian....if I give in now I will just be starting all over :( Don't want to do that AGAIN. It's really just friday night and Saturday I will have to work hard to stay on track. Sundays shouldn't be a problem.

hi guys,
well good luck! im not up to much today. im sure ill be on the horn w either the pt office, primary care or both bc as of last night the dang rx was still on her desk&sokmething tells me that it isnt right. plus, last night i realized i didnt really leave myself a heck of alot of time to pick up my braces so i may have to push pt off a little bit but i hope not too much. im hoping if it comes to that that it wouldnt mean anything more than simply pushing it off to the end of the week im supposed to start. i forgot that the brce people are closed on fridays so that only gives me part of wednesday, all of thursday and part of the following monday to get em. otherwise ill have to cancel my 1st appt &hope that im able to keep the 2nd.

I have been mia lately, I had a huge fight with best friend and didnt want to talk.

I am off to Holyoke to hit the Christmas tree shop, I love that store and for my gift, bf has given me money and I am finally redecorating our bedroom!!!!!!!!

nothin happpening here. i am getting a massage tomm finally-im a liul bit unsure of her tho i dont know why, but for now she'll have to do bc ive found nothin better. im also waitin for the brace guy to call this week as im due to start pt next week and i really dont wanna cancel. even gonna move it up to this week if it turns out i can.

Yeah! They have nice curtains and even some bed sets, plus furniture. Unfortunatly nothing we could agree on, so its off to wal mart and home depot!!! Maybe next week, I am tired!!!!!

Tara- Actually i did starve LOL I was sick and didn't eat but my mother in law cooked. We were gonna go out but with me sick they didn't want to go out. I had a sno cone :D So does the x-mas store sell christmas stuff all year long too? I'm in florida and we have a city called Christmas and I heard they had a store like that up there.

I didnt see any xmas stuff, a lot of nice gardenny decorations. We had a running joke about the fact that we have no actual grass, only mud. We bought a house that was abandoned and are planning on landscaping this year, but with all the rain it appears the guy will never actual deliver the truckload of topsoil we need to put down before the grass seed!!!!
A massage sounds like heaven. I found a chair at the mall the otherr day 5 minutes for a buck!!woohoo!!!!

wow only a buck? my moms nail salon has one and its 10 so thats awesome! im actually a little bit anxious about it i hope i dont have an attack. its been awhile since id had to get used to a new therapist and kinda forgot that i get somewhat anxious in the beginning.

hey tara how ya doin? this looks pretty cool go for it. i do have a ? though. is that reward thing daily or one for every 150 points whenever they add up? also, i have a suggestion for you.... i know im not exactly one that should be giving advice right now but this advice in particular ive known from experience when i do do the right thing. i noticed that you have listed under 35g fat...thats a great goal but im gonna share an old ww tip that really works. dont fall below 25 g or you wont metabolize as well. some ppl dont think it but years ago in ww we did an in house experiment to compare the diff and the ones who lost most were ppl eating 25-35g fat daily.

well i hd my massage and it was really good! was off to a rocky start tho bc the slight anxiety i felt prior turned ugly and i do mean ugly upon her arrival. it was aweful but she was really good and patient about it. i just hate the physical sensations i get when that happens cuz if its reaally bad, my muscles actually start shakin&then i get this unbelievable dizzy thing&it bites.

anyway she gives a really good masage....shes very strong which is good(prob from lugging the dam table lol) ive never seen a table like hers it was just like the ones in spas. my other in home girl had a crappy table.

well never got word about braces yest so we'll see today. if no word by monday(which basically means the rest of today and tomm) ill have to cancel my pt appt.

Tara- Love your point system only thing I will change is the rewards and the 35 fat (with counting points thats enough counting for me LOL). I really think this will help keep me on track better. been trying to find another thread with a system like this to keep me going each day. I've been really good all week NO slip ups:carrot: Still have a sinus thing but I'm starting to get over my cold.

Andrea- Glad to hear you enjoyed your massage. I know what you mean with those tables they are really heavy. My sister in law left hers here and loading it up for her wasn't as easy as it looked.

hey ladies wtg losing!

i actually did really well for the 1st time in a while until i got to dinner. i guess 2 outta 3 is better than 0!

and yes this was a big table she had it on a cart. well im taking my stuffed self to watch the tube.

losing what thyro are you on? i just upped mine to .5 and yea sometimes i 4get. a few weeks back i forgot for days and i felt like poo. now i remember. i usually take mine somewher bt 1230-2 every day.

Tara- I was hoping you would say one prize for each 150 ...my husband would kill me if I went out and bought everything each time...although would make getting there more fun LOL

Andrea- I'm taking synthroid 50 mcg. I didn't take it for a looooonnnnngggggggg time. Last time I was at the DR I was yelled at for not taking it :o I'm thinking that is why my period is coming so much. Could be why I've been feeling so yucky all the time too. Need to take it for 8 more weeks then go in for bloodwork and see where my levels are. It says on the bottle to take it before breakfast on an empty stomach an hour before eating. My problem is by the time I remember to take it I'm starving and don't want to wait an hour before i can eat...that and I hate having to take daily meds...better get used to it huh

you could use your rewards as anything you enjoy...like maybe ice cream with your niece and nephew. Whatever you do for fun something you wouldn't normally do for your self.

hey tara yeah im ok thanks for askin. im just frustrated and lost. sorry bout the pedometer.i think time measurement is better. i wish someone would devise a pedometer for walkin in the pool.

hey losin' mine is 50 too i forgot the 0 lol. i know what ya mean bout waiting thats why i dont. i eat and then take it 2 hrs after. i read literature that says its ok to do that so maybe try that? i am due to take it @ 2 today . thats interesting about periods....

Good afternoon Ladies,

Tara- I have a pedometer somewhere. Will have to do some digging for it. I will be going for a walk as soon as DD is out of school. I never timed the normal walk around the neighborhood will have to see how long it takes us. I usually used the pedometer for miles. Maybe I should change the steps to miles walked.....when ever I find that stupid thing LOL

Andrea- I was on .25 but still was kinda feeling crappy. My DR upped it to .50 and my periods STOPPED and I told the nurse... didn't get a chance to see the DR at that appt the nurse said to take it for 3 months get a blood test then the doctor will do what she thinks is best. She was being bossy and didn't understand that my levels were fine on the .25 ....so I'm going to take the .50 for the 8 weeks and get in with the DR and explain everything. When you first start taking it again does it give you headaches?

You should count the laps you do in the pool. I'm sure the is a way to look up your laps as distance if not just keep trying to beat your last number....man I wish I had a pool this time of year it's really hot. Thinking of putting my DD back in swimming lessons just so she gets some pool time.

hey losin- ive never not seen the dr...you definitely need him! i never had any headaches. I started on .25 also and also felt it wasnt doing enough. actually my rx still is for .25 which is why i go through them more quickly now. i actually had increased to .39 which is 1 1/2 pills and now im on 2&its almost time for a new rx so i may just ask for .50 so i can only take 1 pill. speaking of which, its almost time...

your period stopped? whats the connection b/t periods and thyroid hormones?

I'm not sure the connection enough to explain but if you look it up it will tell you some of the signs. Along with feeling tired and ETC. My GYN always wants to know my levels so the connection is there just don't know the details. I wonder if maybe I could ask about a pill and a half. I wonder if the half would help .... I think the two is to much. i didn't go into the DR about my thyroid I was sick so there was no need to see the DR. I go in august for a check up for all the normal blood work and stuff so I will get it all straight then. I had a headaches when i first started the meds at .25

Did a little better with points 5 this time...I'm working my way up

Hey ladies,
I am missing a lot of action here!!!!!!
Yesterday went well, 10 points. I am adding to my card 2 points per pound lost. If the pound is later gained a deduction of 3 points will happen.
Yesterday was crazy, my toy party came in and my living room turned into a department store met by a tornado!!!! Anyway that is all done now.
I did get my chocolate fix, WW some frozen chocolate cake, thing. I still stayed within my fat range and lost for the day. Anyway if you are a cravin mavin like myself, you might want to try them , maybe once a week or something. It was SSSSOOO goood.
I think I would add a point for a certain amount of laps around the pool. Ah the freedom of this, isnt it fun!!!!

My headache seems to be gone today think my body is getting used to the meds. Andrea didn't get your PM until I sign on here I had already took it. That will work on Saturdays when I don't have to get up early. As long as i REMEMBER to take it as soon as I get up on the weekdays it's not a problem I'm not a wake up and eat kind of person I have to wake up a little before I eat. When I don't remember is the problem then I go about my day and think darn it I'm hungry and didn't take my meds. No more Oh wells skip it I will just take it after I eat. Had a good day yesterday with points. I thought I had the days worth yesterday I sat down and added the points this morning and i was 3 points under what I had though:D I like those kinds of mistakes. I did go for a walk but it was a short one. I waited to long and it was getting way to dark and there is not one street light out here;) Try that again today. Found my pedometer it doesn't record steps taken only miles, km, and calories burned. Only burned 87 better then nothing though right??? I really need to go back to the gym.

Tara- My living room always looks like a tornado. Not from DD though from the dog. She has a box full of toys she drags out as soon as you pick them up and shes in a chew stage so after picking them up comes picking up all the pieces of whatever toy she decided to eat that day. Need to get her a toy box with a lid then she can't drag them all out every day. Walmart has one shaped like a bone LOL Can add their name too.
