cara, congratulations!!

Amanda, good luck getting your son's meds adjusted correctly.

I started the "couch to 5k" program yesterday. I survived day one. My goal is to be able to run 5k by May when there is the "race for a cure" here in Utah.

Default hi

Just a quick check in. I've been very sick for the last three days!!! I am down to 193 as of today. I am not changing my weight tracker. I know I've just lost water weight and will gain some as soon as I can take fluids & solids. I hope everyone is doing well. I'll check in later tonight.

Hi Ladies,
Finally it seems that things will be ok Christian is doing really well at this new school, the teachers said that he is doing wonderful, and that they havent had ANY of the problems that the other school had w/ him. I took him off the adderall after he began having Halucinations, Then yesterday the doc calls and tells me to stop the adderall (3 days after I already had, LOL) and she said they were going to call in something else for him. When I picked up the med this am, I discovered that it is an ANTIPSYCHOTIC!!! What are they trying to do to my child?!? Needless to say, i didnt give him any of the new med, and I have an appt. to take him back to the doc on Friday where I will state, rather firmly, that I do not believe that my son is ADHD, Nor do I believe that he has a mood disorder and that I will NOT put him on any more meds until I find out whether or not the new school placement is going to be enough to take care of the behavior problems we were having....Someone please, just shoot me now, I really dont think i can take any more of this B.S. Sorry I'm ranting again

I think I'll put up my Christmas tree this weekend, lol. Take my mind off of things for a while Plus this house (we just moved here a couple months ago) has a great big picture window in front and I cant wait to stick my tree in front of it, LOL. This is also the 1st year since I've been married that we live in a house that has road frontage, LOL I FINALLY get to decorate the outside of the house and people actually be able to see...I think i have officially lost it, now i guess i just wait for the guys in the white coats to show up , LOL.

Anyways, I have not been eating as well as I should be, and I havent been entering my foods into fitday, so I really have to get back on track...I dont want to have to start all over again after the holidays, LOL.

hope you all are having a great week, Talk to ya soon

Hi everyone

Glad you're feeling better cara! My hubby and I had a 24hour bug tuesday, blah, LOL.

I took Christian to his doc today and told her how wonderful he is doing in his new school. She said that was wonderful and that maybe he doesnt need meds afterall (Ummmm, yeah, I tried to tell her that How Many days ago???) But for now things seem to be ok Also the CPS worker had to come check out the house today, and that went pretty well, thank goodness, and she said that as soon as she had a chance to speak w/ the doctor that she would be able to write her little report and clear my inlaws of any wrongdoing....Now If I could only get this stupid oil stove to light I'd be doing ok LOL. I'm freezing my buns off here, hey wait, that may not be a bad thing LOL.

Anyways I totally bombed on my challenge this week. I cant wait to find out what's up for next weeks challenge Now that I can finally relax a little and concentrate on my weightloss effort once again. Good luck on weigh ins tomorrow, and I hope you have all had a great week!

Unhappy Good Morning Ladies!

Good Morning! How is everyone doing? Good i hope! How was everyone's week? Well i am sad to report i gained 2 pounds but i don't want to change my weight tracker because i think its because of my TOM so i think in a couple of days the scales will hopefully reflect the change! **keeping fingers crossed**

Cara: I am so glad you are feeling better! I know what you mean about it going around last saturday i was feeling yucky most of the day and nauseous! Ugghhh! Good luck this week!

Jld: WooHoo!!!! I am so glad Christian is doing good at school! I am glad for him and glad for you hopefully that won't be a stress in your life anymore or atleast not as much!

Mode: Thanks for the link, i looked into it, and i think i am going to start next week! Thanks for the tip! It really seems awesome! How are you doing with it?

Well i hope everyone is doing well...i will talk to you all later! Have a great day!

Alisha, sorry about the gain. Maybe you'll take off even more next week. I'm doing alright with the C25K program. Though I have really heavy thighs, and it makes running a struggle. I am going to try and move on to Week 2 Day 1 next Monday, but I may end up toning it down until my body is more adjusted to the change in exercise. I don't want to end up injured, but I also don't want to cut myself short because of mental blocks. I'm not going to give up though. I think jogging is going to be the perfect supplement to my diet.

After starting C25K I've managed to lose 5 pounds last week. Of course the first week dieting always seems to yield the most weight loss. I'm not giving up. I want to be back in the 100's by New Years! Ambitious goal, but hey, I would really love that. I'll be happy if I get down to 210-215 by New Years too though.

mode: Thanks I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off of me this week. I really cant believe the change that this new school has had on Christian...He's so much happier now!

I lost another pound this week, YAY I dont expect any wieght loss this coming week though, since I have 2 Thanksgiving dinners to sit through, lol. But that's ok, Good food, Good Company, and Good times, who could ask for more? Plus We might actually see a little snow this week! I'm am SO ready for the Holidays now that all this other crap has settled down....Now if only I could make some money magically appear so I can do all my Christmas shopping, LOL.

Anyways, I hope you all are having a wonderful weekend!
Talk to ya soon

Anyone not really worried about Thanksgiving dinner?

We go to my husband's parent's place. I usually don't get much food between feeding the kids and such.

It's the banana cream pie at my aunt's house later that evening that will be the tough part.
