Kempy it seems like yesterday when you just started. How exciting. Just wait until you tell the boss you are leaving. How do you think he will react? I am sure you will love the different environment. Since it might be easier because you know someone there. I know change can be so hard, but I think you will be so happy.

We are back to school as of today. The little urchins (ahem...kiddos) are back now. They seemed to be excited to be back, but at the same time I could tell they'd rather be anywhere else. I think it's going to be a fun year and I'm looking forward to it, although I'm really tired.

Kempy: I does seem as though you just started school and now it's almost over. That is wonderful; I'm so happy for you. When do you leave for vacation? Have a great time.

Angie: I surely hope that everything is ok with you. Please drop a line; we're worried about you.

Noelle: Does your little one still get excited about school? Ashley started her first day of 1st grade and she is so excited about being in 1st grade. She even told me that she got her lunch all by herself and that she now has 20 new friends, even boys.

School is back? In NYS they have a couple more weeks - after labor day to be exact. So Cal how is the new school?

I learned a lesson this week - a couple actually:
*Never take a dog to a tennis court - between batting balls to Fenway and playing tennis - I don't know which one I was more tired from and then when it was time to leave it was chasing the dog in circles until he ran into the Center Court's net. Don't believe we'll be going back there any time soon
*I am finally going to talk with a nutritionist because with a 12 week plateau and the tape measure not even budging - talking to someone who knows more about food beats banging my head against the wall...again

I hope all of you are well and looking forward to Saturday and Sunday as much as I am.

Julie if it is any consolation - my grass looks terrible due to the monster dog named Fenway.

I hope everyone is ok. I've never seen this post so quiet.

Summer: The new school is great. So far the kiddos are ok. They will be trying things; after all they are 7th grade. Some are already testing the administration by not tucking in their uniform shirts. Every school I've been at has had the same problem. We have a fall break beginning Oct 1 for 2 weeks. We also have 2 weeks for Christmas break, 2 weeks for Spring, and the last day of school will be June 3. Every Wednesday is an early release so teachers can have inservice or professional development without always staying after school until 5 or 6pm. Most of the schools here in Arizona start next Monday, Aug 9. Arizona State University starts on August 23 and that's the latest school to start.

Everyone else: Come out and play!!!!! Please!!!

I went to lake again. It was fun. Well I will post later, the kids are driving me nuts all ready, won't eat their breakfast, and I even caved in and gave them milk and cake!! Ugh, oh well. I can't type because they are talking in both of my ears.

Oh btw, Summer I think it is great you are going to talk to a nutritionist, maybe they will have some ideas for you. You go girl! You have been working so hard.

Cal I know this thread is so quiet. It scares me. I hope you are doing well and have a great year at school this year.

Noelle, where is my HI sweetheart? I miss you. Come out this week when you get a chance okay? I know with Michael starting school, and the new girl you have your hands totally full. I am thinking of you too.
