Happy Friday everyone I guess I am motivated to stay on track for now...I went grocery shopping this morning for my Kashi Go Lean Crunch cereal, non-fat milk and yogurt, grapefruits & oranges....I'm set for breakfasts in the office again. Too often I've strayed to Starbucks in the morning...lattes are good but they're not very nutritive. Rick is going to Kauai this weekend to do some work for his cousin's new restaurant so it's just me and the boy. Maybe we'll see Spiderman 2? Dunno. Anybody else have anything planned?

Summer, you're very pretty and you and hubby look like you have a good time together. I like happy pics. Did you take many more while on vacation? Two lbs? I've done waaaay worse than that while on my vacations! Good job girl, I bet those slide right off when you get back to routine. Angie, sure you can come over for dinner anytime. Then we can force each other to go for a walk afterward . You know, my sis had Lasik a few months ago and she's doing great. She's had glasses since she was 10 years old so that was 25 years in glasses or contacts--hard contacts. I didn't know anybody other than her who still wore hard lenses . Now she can ride w/the top down on her VW beetle; did I mention she's skinny too? b*tch! I asked my doc about Lasik and he laughed and said no doctor would do it for me since my vision impairment is so slight. Yeah, so slight to them but I'm the one who has to wear the darn glasses

Noelle, YOU ROCK!!!!! I am sucking right now but I promise Sunday morning I am going to try the Eating For Life and see if I can teach myself the right way to eat. I feel stupid even admitting this but I am kind of scared to try a diet that allows fat. I usually go so restrictive that I eat little or nothing and I dont do the wheat or whole grain bread because it has more fat than the low fat slices. I know all of this is stupid to think about but I hope to just learn to eat right once and for all. Maybe I will lose some of this weight but right now I just want to think more healthy. Obviously it cant hurt since what I am doing may work but not for the long haul.

Wanted to stop in and say hi this morning. I hope all of you have wonderful weather or at least are enjoying the day. I went to a karaoke party last night and sang Copacabanna but it was fun! There is an annual food fest here today - I am avoiding like the plague because I will take one of everything! unless it has honey, olives, pickled anything or unsanitary looking workers....

Noelle I love that pic with Michael and I. He makes me laugh all the time - in most of our pictures one of us is laughing or just about to. As for vacation pics -just of the scenery. Not many great photo ops (alot of stuffing our mouths with desserts) Except there was one opportunity in the lake on the lake but I did not want to bring the digital on the canoe. The picture would of been me reading and Michael rowing and turning around to see me not doing anything with enough surprise to almost tip us over. Keep up the good eating!

Angie so you think that because you retrict things so very much in the past may be the reason you sometimes eat too much of it? So maybe this will be good. I have faith. Give it a try - you may find yourself liking it and healthier to boot. Okay -off my soap box.

I wanted to post a picture of Fenway - He is 20 months now.

My poor love of my life just got discharged from the hospital tonight. He was so dehydrated they cold hardly find a vein. When he got to the hospital he could not even stand on the scale. No lie he must have threw up over 28-30- times plus you know what. I stayed last night in the hospital with all night and all day today and I got about a half hour of sleep last night. Between changing his gowns and holding buckets. It was pure misery for the poor boy. I am so tired I could die. They still don't know what is wrong with him he has a temp still, something with his white blood cells, anemic, and kidney functions are screwed up. Thank God for good nurses, they were great. I am so scared that it could be leukemia. I dropped off my daughter and then met hus at the hospital I cried all the way before I got there. He is not a very healthy boy. Last winter and spring he must have thrown up every of month. Well take care everyone....Julie

Julie, I'm so sorry to hear about your boy, that's terrible! I had no idea it was so serious. You must be going through **** right now and I can't imagine how he must feel. I have a rant I have to do because it has been eating at me. I hate My Inlaws. They are not normal people. Even their own kids cant stand them. Corey has been lying more and more to us so the last straw was when he traded scooters with Alicia without her knowing and when we caught him he lied and lied. So basially this one was stealing covered up with lying. I grounded him to his room with no tv,gameboy,or scooter. Books are okay. Well, the girls were talking that he was grounded at the bakery with one of MIL twitty little workers and the ***** went out because she thought it was too mean to ground him!!! MIL came out and started a fight with Jay saying we are bad parents etc because we finally were sticking with a punishment. We dont hit the kids or even ever punish them and that is why I decided this time the groundation sticks so I was so mad that I called my Mom and cried half the night. Where does this woman who hit her sons with a broom when they were fighting and tooka belt to them growing up get off calling us bad parents. Not to mention she did all of this in front of workers that will blab it all over town.(even though it isnt true) She didnt even care enough about Jay to spend ANY time with him growing up. The only food the poor guy ever had at his house top eat was Lucky Charms and milek(even though they own a bakery) They never did anything with their kids and she still browbeats him every chance she can. I honestly despise this woman. She cant stand Brittany. Which hurts Britt's fealings alot. She doesnt like her because she would cry when she was a baby whenever MIL held her. And Brit will tell her like she sees it now. She likes to come off all high and mighty but guess what all of her kids dont see her. One moved out of state and hardly ever comes to visit, One is a drug user(and other things) and the other one hasnt spoken to them in 6 years. Nor has he let them see their grandchild either. All I can say is if anyone ever buys my house I have a nice little town picked out about 2 hours from here and I am moving there. definately and I wont have to deal with them. End rant. Sorry about that.

I bought more paint because Jay wants to paint all the walls. I bought my lace and now I need to get it on the wall. I also bought a white shelf and the silver letters that spell LOVE to put on it for one wall. I found a bedding set that has the colots I wanted so I guess that is the one I will use. I saw some for $100.00 and up but I just dont see spending that much on a blanket that the dogs will sleep on.

Well, I really should get up and do something. I will check back later.

Oh yeah, I dont think Kempy is on vacation just yet. I just meant that she would be gone as of Wednesday until Monday and I didnt get a chance to say bye before she left. Sorry.

Hey, I'm back from the beach. It wasn't really a vacation so much as a long weekend. We got to see the Blue's on Friday and Saturday. I am a little burnt too but I love having the time away to relax. I didn't eat very much but there was a good amount of drinking going on. I am scared to get on the scale to see what the damage is. All I know is that I can feel the puffyness in my face so I know it isn't pretty.

Julie how is your baby boy doing today? What an aweful thing to have to go through.

Angie what a pain you have with your inlaws. That is a shame that some people are like that to their kids. I don't think that you and Jay did anything wrong. Plus, they are your kids. His parents got a chance to raise some kids but they need to butt out now that it is your turn. I think you guys are doing a great job.

My little guy seems to be improving. We need to bring him for a follow up this week. I am mentally drained. Plus on top of that hus is being an a**. Sometimes I think we really are not going to make it. I could go on and on but I don't want to bring anyone down with me. Sorry guys just feeling to be totally honest down and depressed.

Angie, I totally agree with Kempy. You are good, responsible, loving and caring parents. I wish they were not so mean to you guys. It sounds like Jay and you work you butts off. Hey girls, happy Monday. The weekend didn't turn out too bad other than the flat tire I had after shopping at Sam's Club . It's a good thing I didn't buy any food stuff that needed to go in the fridge. These tires are pissing me off! This is the second tire (of the two new ones I bought in December) that had a bad valve stem. I have to call and complain to the guy I bought the tires from.

Hang in there Julie. Glad to hear your son's doing better. Have the doctors found out what's going on yet? I hate that feeling, the not knowing. Sorry about hubby not treating you right. My diet is so nonexistent. What the **** is wrong with me? I am sorry to come here and complain about it all the time and never do anything.

Angie that is a beautiful job! I just got my manicure/pedicure on Saturday and my nails are the same color as your walls . I love that you did that all yourself. You guys would die if you saw my bedroom...let's just say major clutter! I have got to get on organizing it. I can barely walk around the room without pushing some box or laundry basket out of the way. Honey, there's nothing wrong with you. You just have to find it within yourself to get back on track. You know the end result you want and you know how to get there. You put yourself down a lot but what I see is that you've kept off a lot of the weight you've lost. It's freakin' hard, I know, but I know you can and will get back to it and we're here to cheer you on . I hate the yo-yo effect too but I know we can all do this!

Ok i have a little bit of b*tchin' to do...we have a small pond behind our house that the kids play around (catching guppies and tadpoles and toads and stuff), my son has lost 2 slippers in the last 2 days in the pond. It's like a rite of passage in our house that you'll eventually fall into the pond so the first time it happened I was kind of happy . He's 5 years old and it's never happened until now, but now his 2 teen-aged cousins are coercing him to stand on the rocks or edge of the little plank bridge, almost guaranteeing that he'll fall in. It's not even a foot deep by any means but for them to tell him to do stuff like that just tees me off. He practically worships them and would do anything they tell him to do. I had to go and buy him another pair of slippers today and if they cause him to loose these I think I'm gonna wear one of theirs and walk into the mud myself so I can lose it. I know, I sound crazy rambling on about this but it was just bugging me!

Angie your room is so pretty, it looks relaxing and peaceful. Like a room in a bed and breakfast, and I love the "love" shelf. It fits the room perfectly. Good for you getting in the pool. You burned calories and had fun! Don't work too hard.

Noelle I would be a little upset too. I mean influences, and shoes cost money!! Little boys so curious , and look up to older ones. Maybe you should have a little talk with them. And no you did not sound crazy rambling about that. You have a right to be upset. Damn that tire of yours. Its not safe to be driving around with something wrong with it. Well I am going to try and fall asleep before 2am tonight. You guys I am so stressed. When hus not dh got home, I actually went and looked at a place to rent. I am scared, depressed, and did not think my marriage and life would take this turn. I would have to find a job to pay the rent, I have never lived on my own. My Uncle called me last night and wants me to move to his town and put a bakery in a building he just bought. He is opening it up as a steak restaurant and wants to rent some of it out to us to make an extra income and the town doesnt have a bakery. The only problem is that it is farther NORTH. We all know I dont really want to go any higher. But...... if it gets me away from the inlaws.

Well, I should start painting the other 2 walls. I will leave the puter on to check back in a while.

I don't want to eat but I can't stop stuffing my face. The only good thing I found about me putting on a few lbs is that my boobs got bigger. I noticed that at the beach this weekend. Noelle I don't know what it is about boys and ponds. My FIL has one and both of my nephews felt the need to fall in. They swear they both fell but I know better.
