Hi Stacey, welcome to the race! Great place, great support!
Hey ladies, how about a halloween challenge???? Maybe choose one thing we need to do better on. Drinking all our water daily? exercising? walking? quit eating something that gives us trouble? a weight goal? Journaling? Who is in? I will make my challenge the following. Drink all my water be in the low 230s by then and walk Come on, who wants to join me, show doesn't, but will anyway?? Annie |
I mean who doesn't but will anyway?
|
I'm with ya, Annie!
I'd like to get in my elliptical workout at least 4 days a week, and be at 225 by Halloween. And, I'd like to do the best I can to stay away from any Halloween candy. My office has already started. How about 1 piece per day...that's got to be a compromise, because I certainly have more than that. I'm SORE. My torso is so sore. I did my elliptical for 50 minutes both Saturday and Sunday. I'll probably skip today but do this at least 3 more times by Sunday. |
Count me in on the challenge!
Stacey - Glad to have you along, girlfriend! Keep us posted on your good days and bad days. We're in this thing together.
Annie - I'm up for the challenge! Girlie - Whoa...you've set a great goal for yourself with Halloween candy. I have a hard enough time with regular candy in the office at all other times of the year! That's probably the same challenge I should take, considering my difficulty with chocolate. BUT...here is my challenge for Halloween: 1. Exercise 5x per week, at least 30 mins each time. :ebike: 2. Drink all 64 oz. of water each day (weekends are the hardest) 3. Reach 290 lbs by Halloween - a safe and achievable goal of 11 pounds, if I set my mind to it  Keep me honest, girls! |
Hi everyone. I will definitely aim for below 220 for halloween and STAY THERE however i can manage it. Eating mindfully for a start.
HUGS!!! |
Great Girlie....sounds good!! We can do this. 1 piece (small) piece should be ok a day. That is like 1/4 of a point for WW, altho candy is not my downfall. :^)

Morning all!
So how many people are in this group? I am going to have to try to keep everyone straight. Heather- thanks for the welcome. I'm really looking forward to getting to know everyone. I just took the kids to school, but forgot Taelor's lunch box so I have to take it back up to the school on my way out. I have class this morning. I also need to get my lab in. I need to go by the store and pick up just a few things. Then I need to come home and give this house some attention. I have been suffering from either a sinus infection or allergies for like a week now and it has really been getting to me. I think- keeping fingers crossed- that it is finally starting to go away. Now if my voice would just go back to normal. This week I am trying to crack a bad habit. I go back and forth on my water intake. This week I have been consuming way to much coke and hardly any water. Halloween- why is it that the most fattening holidays are at the end of the year? Halloween-Thanksgiving-Christmas. I am a sucker for the little "bite size" candy bars. I don't like the hard candy or the sweet and sour stuff, just give me the chocolate. I am just going to try to stay away from it. I am going to just buy what I need and try to get the kids the stuff they like but the stuff that I don't like. I am going to shoot for 220 by Halloween. I'm looking at having to lose 8-10 pounds by then, so I don't think that that is totally outrageous. So anybody else out there an emotional eater? I think that would sum me up real good! I'm just sick of the weight! I wear like between an 18-20 and I miss my size 12s. There have been alot of new fashions that have come out in the past 5 years that I really have wanted to wear but couldn't. So that has got to change. Ok, 'nuf gripeing. I need to finish getting ready. Hope everyone has a great day! |
Hello Ladies,
I have a cold! It's slowed me down a little with the exercise, but I did walk for 20 min last night and then did a light weight workout. It was important to me to exercise. I'm journaling my food again and making up my "Motivation Me" notebook. The good thing about the cold is that I'm not wanting to eat anything. Nothing tastes good. I am in for the Halloween challenge. My goal is to lost 6 lb..that's a pound a week. I KNOW I can do that. I've made a decision and I'm moving toward it. Welcome to utk: I am an emotional eater also. I just read an article in eithier Fitness or Shape about that and it had somethings that I wanted to put in my "Motivation Me" notebook. I'll work on that tonight and then share those ideas from the article on the board. Hopefully there will be something there that will help you. I think you already stumbled upon something that will help you with that emotion. Think about what you said about the fashions that you want to wear and can't, use that as your motivation to say no to that emotion of wanting to eat to get over a feeling. Annie: How did the WI go. Ladies, I'm at work and need to get busy so I don't have time for more personals. I wanted to drop in and say Hi...this place is my motivation. WE CAN & ARE doing THIS! Stay stong. Susie |
Good Morning Ladies!
Well go ahead, ask me....yep a loss. 2.6 pounds gone forever! I am so dang happy! My total now is 21.5. Hope everyone gets on my cloud nine and has a great day! Hugs Annie |
Moring Ladies! I wish I had more time for personals. I miss you so much.
Burned out already. I have a very tense neck and forehead. I forgot to breathe this morning. I was up early enough but behind. DS was bouncing off walls but happy. 4 kids on the bus. Picture day for the Kindergardeners. DD looked adorable, hope she stays that way. School council meeting went well. I worked about 4 hours on the handbook yesterday morning while babysitting. I got a batch of jam done in the aft. I am pooped. I feel I need to qualify my good deeds by the fact that you need a shovel to get through the laundry and mess in my house and last night’s dinner dishes are still on the table.I went to bed at 9 last night. I ate 2 squares last night. A menstrual thing. 4 preschoolers today. A LOT of laundry to do and a kitchen to clean. I need to breathe. I am winding down with all the projects I had on the go.Thankfully. Have a peaceful day! |
Hey everyone.. I hate that I have just found this group!! I'm so EXCITED about it! I'm working my way to 199 as well.
I'm Shana. I'm 26 y/o, a SAHM to one beautiful daughter Meredith, who will be 2 on Halloween and wife to my hero John. My highest weight has been 234 during my pregnancy, I was 210 before. I lost down completely back to pre-preg weight right after I delivered but due to botched healing from a C-section couldn't exercise to maintain or even lose. UGH! Now I sit here almost 2 years later feeling HUGE! I want to lose! My goal is to be 199 by New Years. My husband and I started WW at the beginning of the year this year and I stayed with it for 3 weeks and I had lost 8lbs, my husband had lost 25, so I got discouraged and stopped. He went on and ended up losing 50lbs total in three months and has kept it off so FINALLY that's becoming a motivation for me. ;) Can't wait to get to know all of you all and hear about your successes and hopefully I'll be able to share my own with you!! :) |
I want to start a Halloween goal.. Halloween is my daughter's birthday so that will be a big eating day.
My Goal for Halloween is: Drink 80-100 oz of H2O a day. Weight Goal: 215 lbs Help keep me chuggin' girls (mostly on the water part!!) lol  |
This is kinda long lol
Hiya everyone...
I'm back online (wasn't gone as long as I thought i would be)...yeahhhh!! Silly computer still dont work worth a "you know what" but I will get over it. Perhap's Santa will be coming down my chimney this year with a brand new computer (Hey Santa...;) bring me a really nice one and i will leave some extra cookies and milk...oops I mean carrot sticks and juice lol) ;) Annie....WTG on being a loser this week...you are doing awesome!! I got good news... Starting on Wednesday, I will be going and using the Marine Corp base gym facilities. I have been checking out their gym over the last few days and have really want to get in there and use their weight/strengthning machines. it don't cost anything because my husband is active duty so I figured I would check it out one last time this morning while I was grocery shopping. I met this really nice "personal trainer" (quite buff too I might add lol) and 3 days a week he is going to show me how to use these machines so that I can turn some of this unwanted fat I have into some lean mean muscle, WHOOhhOOO!! As I had mentioned in one of my very first postings here, I want to "tone" my muscles while loosing these pounds cause if I wait until after the weight has gone, I am going to have a much harder time toning. Because I will be doing this...I am only going to weigh in every other week. Muscle is heavier than fat and this may reflect negatively when it comes to weighing in each week on a scale. So I am preparing myself for this...so that if this does happen, I will know that it doesnt mean i have added more fat onto my body, but rather toned up the muscles that I have. Anyway's..this is going to be my excersise routine for the next few weeks.... Monday-Friday Walking with dog for 30 mins (going about 3.5mph) Mon.-Wed-Frid. Going to gym and walking 30 mins on treadmill at a medium grade/slope and then doing strangth training using a combination of different machines. Tue & Thurs. WATP for 30 mins Sat & Sun...will use these days as my resting days (lol...after I get done with the housework, laundry, cooking, mopping, ect ect ect lol) I also would like to join in the Halloweenie challenge... my biggest problem thus far is WATER..or the lack of I should say. I have completly stopped drinking all soda's...but just don't get all the water in that i need. I am going to aim for.....at least 80oz aday from now until Halloweenie... Because of my new gym thing I am not going to aim for a certain weight goal. If I can start turning some of this fat into lean muscle, it's probably not going to come up as a loss on the scale...so I will stay away from that. I also want to stay focused and avoid my "homer' moments and accomplish the above exercise goals each week. Well, I better stop typing or this post will put us on a new page lmao. |
oops...and a big hello to Shana...:):)
you really have some great goals there and I am sure you will accomplish every one of them... :dizzy:  |
Hey everyone,
I've been running myself ragged running errands. The price you pay for living in the country. Everything is 20-25 miles away. In Nov we have a walmart opening up 15 miles away, boy what a relief!..lol. I've been doing well on food but haven't made it to curves. I hope to go this pm after Dh goes to work. I gave up sweet tea a few months ago. Now I've had no trouble getting my water each day. Especially since it's been so hot. I do my WI tomorrow. I'll set my Halloween goal after I see what I weigh. I do love a challenge. I ordered a new Dell system yesterday. It's not anything special but it'll be better than this. Annie: WOW what a loss.. YOU REALLY ROCK (((HUG))) DDB: Now thats what I call a gym. Sure beats Curves... Are you near Barstow? WELCOME to everyone new. Holly: There you go again, not breathing. Go get on you swing with a cool drink. Relax and take time to enjoy the results of all your hard work. Ok.. Maybe after the kiddies are in bed...LOL :) Susie: Hope you are feeling better. :) I better go I only have 10 mins till I get Dh up to go to work. Everyone have a great evening. |
Debbie, I live about 30 miles NE of Barstow out here in "BFE" (hahaha). I hear what you are saying about Wally World lol. The barstow Walmart..well...it's not the greatest or the biggest but hey...it's a Walmart lol.
it just dawned on me that TOMORROW is wednesday lol. Here I am thinking that I don't start going to the gym for two days. I just got done making....ummmm...FUDGE (is that a bad word around these parts?? lol) it's ok though...it's not for me (I actually don't like fudge very much) My hubby emailed me last night and sent me his monthly "grocery" list lmao. Apart from the usual, socks, undies and jelly beans, he wants me to send him homemade fudge. my boys are just getting home from school and are doing homework (well, that's what they want me to believe lol) Tonight we are having home made taco's. I have done great with my food for 13 days now, and doubt if 2 taco's is gonna hurt my chances of losing weight lol. I always buy the 93% lean ground beef cause it is cheap at the commisary so we will be using that. Well...hope you guys have a great evening... |
Feeling energized & ready to move on!
(OK, that's a quote from a Jenny Craig workout tape...anybody familiar?) HA!
What great posts we have this week! I'm loving the Halloween challenge, although I've already messed it up by not drinking my water yesterday. :nono: Back on track today. Did water aerobics last night but didn't really want to go. My roommate is a great motivator; she's also BBW and is doing Nutrisystem - it's working GREAT for her. Anyway, I told her I didn't want to work out, but she pushed me! DesertDust - Way to have an exercise plan! My dog doesn't cooperate on walking. He just slows me down by stopping every 10 steps, so I may do a casual walk w/him then take my REAL walk by myself. Debbie - Good luck on the WI tonight! I know you'll have a good report for us! Annie - Great job on the weight loss, girl! Keep it up! Shana - A great big welcome to you! I have problems with getting my water in, too, but let's make it habit - we can do it. Holly - Hope you're doing better. Now it's time to wind down and relax... Susie - Let us know how the "Motivation Me" notebook works out. Is there a web site for that? Girlie, Stacey - Y'all doing OK? Be blessed on this wonderful Wednesday! |
Good day, everyone. I wish I had more time like I used to so I can post and reply to everyone.
GREAT LOSS Annie! Whooo!!!! DH and I took our nephews to Denny's last night. SpongeBob was there and kids eat free! YAY. It wasn't too bad for our first time taking kids out. I had the grilled tilapia with green beans and corn and it was yummy! The little one fell asleep on the way home, so we had a nice quiet night and I headed to the gym for 50 minutes on the elliptical. It was a good workout, I was really pumped that night for some reason. 8000 steps and 4 miles. Hope to do it again tonite. That is key for me - getting in to exercise as much as possible. I had a stupid donut for breakfast, people have been bringing in donuts and stuff in the mornings lately. They were PUMPKIN donuts for gosh sakes! So I skipped my breakfast bar and smoothie that I brought and had the donut. Okay, I had two. AHHH. I can't lie! I have leftover grilled tilapia and soybeans for lunch, and a nectarine and grapes. Beef and noodles for dinner - no seconds. I have been having trouble with bras lately. I found two good sports bras for larger chests (I am 42DD) - Old Navy has one in XXL that whisks away moisture and has great hold, and I got one from the Lane Bryant (store) website, it's made by Danskin. It has SUPER hold - almost too much hold, but it has great coverage. It fits on top like a sleeveless v-neck shirt, so it covers a lot of my shoulders and upper chest. Anyway, just thought I'd mention. Talk to you all soon. Girlie |
The last 5 hours have whizzed right by. I have sat down quietly for the first time since 6:30 am. Way too crazy for this chick.I even had my morning coffee on the fly. Yucky!
We have started an Coffee Hour drop in time at our church every Wed morning for 9-11. This was the first one. I organized it but there is a couple hosting it. I had to drop off flyers and a sign board and colouring pages for kids etc. I had 4 kids in tow. It was quite nice actually. The minister was there and another woman popped in. DS went off to school for his picture day. I did relax yesteday. I laid on the floor to stretch and did lots of breathing a few times. I watched a soap. I did not run any errands.I watched Canadian Idol and Tommy Lee and then went to bed early to read. Both kids were up crying in the night. I am wondering if they are getting a bug. I ate a nanimo bar for lunch and a burger for supper. It was all balanced out somewhat with a lot of celery and cucumber. ACK! I am having a menstrual symptom Is usually dont have. I am going to do Grandma’s hair tonight. The kitchen is a mess again!!!! Still!!!!!! I had a interesting chat with the school council prez who I think is an absolute gift to this planet in a bazillion ways and she talked about how I made her feel inferior and badly about herself because of how on the ball I was with stuff, acknowledging it was her issue. Weird because I look up to her in many ways.Ya just never what is going on inside someone. I invited her over with a shovel to get through the wreckage I call home! LOL!! Something has to give! Okay, Breathe!!!!!! |
Hey guys,
I'm down 3!! Thats 15 in 4 weeks. I really like doing weight watchers. I journal everything I eat...almost. I'm finally not hungry all the time. I haven't made it to curves this week. Everytime I try something comes up. I'll make it saturday. We are real busy this week at work so I'll get lots of exercise. Girlie: It is so good to hear from you. Sounds like you had a great evening with your nephews. Stay in touch (((hug))) Heather: Drinking enough water came hard for me. I was a real pepsi addict. But I finally switched from mostly pepsi to water now I drink maybe 1 a day, instead of 5 or 6. Lisa: I think I know where BFE is..LOL. My husband and I drove a truck for 6 1/2 years so we went thru there a lot. We even delivered to that base once. Holly: Another whirlwind day I see. I am truly jealous of the things you accomplish. I never seem to get everything that organized. |
hiya everyone,
just checking in.. I went to the gym and decided I don't like it lol. I walked on the treadmill for 30 minutes and got a good cardio workout and also did used the weight machines but...I much prefer walking outside with my dog and doing my handweights at home and my WATP dvd's...so I won't be going back to the gym. Other than that..not much went on today. Been a slow day. I do want to brag a little though lol...not about me but about my 13 year old. Last year, his 6th grade home room teacher was a nightmare. In my opinion, she should never have become a teacher. There were many many days that I would have to call her and set her straight on a few things. she tormented my son, (and i do mean tormented) as well as most of the student in her class, the entire year. My son would beg me not to make him go to school. I took him and my youngest out of school for the last trimester and homeschooled them myself. I decided to put them back into public school this year and...FINALLY...they both have superb teachers. My son is very happy with his new teachers and he has been busting his butt to show his teachers that he is not incompetent like his last year teacher lead everyone to believe. as a result, my son came home with his grades today and he has received straight A's in all subjects plus an A+ in reading AND...he scored the highest AR reading/testing score in the entire school!! I am sooo proud of my son and sooooo happy he is once again enjoying school again. ok..I am done bragging lol... have a great night everyone |
Hello Everyone - I want to be in Onederland too!
I'm a 56 year old British born female living in the States for 27 years. I am married with a 21 year old son (haven't seen Onederland since he was born :o!). I'm a breast cancer survivor (4 years now) :cp:. I'd love to reach my goal of 150 as I'm so tired of the diet yo-yoing :tired:!
I'm an emotional eater - I eat no matter what the emotion - happy, angry, sad, bored :dizzy:! For ever losing and gaining the same 20 lbs.! I currently weigh 203 lbs. and would like to get down to 150. I've been as high as 225 lbs. I started working out at Curves 2 years ago and have exercised faithfully 3-4 times a week since then. Absolutely love Curves - great for me as I have severe arthritis and it's a low impact workout. It has also helped me regain my strength after my surgery :strong: I am currently doing Nutridiary (since August 21st) and I'm averaging about 1300 - 1400 calories a day and trying to stay in the "Zone" of 40% Carbs, 30% Protein and 30% Fat. I've lost 5 lbs. since I started Nutridiary and it really helps to keep me honest about what I'm eating ;)! I'm hoping that losing the weight will help my arthritis and I'd be able to do more walking. I would also love to shop in the regular size section for my clothes. Hope to see you in Onederland! :goodluck: |
Welcome penpal, You'll like it here.
Ok now that I have a new system someone tell me where ya'll find to cute animated smileys. Goodnight |
Hey everyone,
I am going to be taking a break from posting on 3FC's. I think i may have ticked another member off on one of my posts, not deliberatly. I posted a reply to a new members post and i think one of the other members thought i was directing my comments to her...anyway's...I have since apploigised for any misunderstand, several times and PMed the person to appoligise again, but i feel so bad about this mis understanding. I think it is better if i stop posting replies for the moment. You all keep up the great work... |
Good Morning Spring Chickens..........
Working a lot of OT, got home at 8 last night and was in bed by 8:30, back here at 5:30 this morning. Whew. Welcome to the race Penny. A wonderful place for support! Debbie - Great job on the loss. You go girl. Gotta get at it. ((((Hugs)))) to all... Annie |
Lisa: I hate someone has made you feel uncomfortable here.
If I have said anything to offend you. I appoloigze from the bottom of my heart. and thats a big heart...LOL I hope you will reconsider... we will miss you. |
Good morning, good morning.
I have 3 enormous zits growing on my chin. Gotta love hormones and chocolate!! Yesterday started out chaotic but got great. I had 6 kids for lunch and then 2 went home. 1 napped and 3 played house. The new boy is working out just peachy. It was exactly what the group here and DS needed. DS has been getting about a 1/2 hour of homework every night. Helloooo? he is not 7 yet. He is getting tummy cramps from worry. He is afraid of doing it wrong and stresses. Either DH or I sit with him and we do it step by step, encourage, redirect..... My wallet went missing yesterday but it turned at a families home in their diaper bag.whew. I puttered in the aft and got some laundry, housework and stinkin dishes done. I went to do my Grandma’s hair and got my hair trimmed after. My Grandma commented that my Sis had stopped having family bday parties for her son when he was 5 and maybe I should too. My first thought was what the the heck does what my sis does have to do with me. My Mom had said the exact same thing the other day. LOL. Do ya think the family had a powwow and decided this for me? Just like my Mom told me she was coming next Thurs for DD’s Bday. I was going to retort but I stopped myself. I am seeing more and more just how silly these people are. I cant stand indirect people. I was feeling strong and wide awake all day yesterday, clear minded .I had a nice drive home and I watched the last hour of the Canadian Idol final. I was just in time for Kalan’s* heart*performance. Egads he makes me happy. Then I watched the first half at 11 on another channel and saw Kalan again. hee hee hee I went to bed all peacful and happy. Tonight is the Home and school Sept Social( meet the teacher). I was asked to make some calls for volunteers. It was super disorganized. The prez is too busy to help or attend. HUH? I did what I could. Now for School council, we are having a special presentation tonight. We are the 2nd school in all of Canada to win a Peaceful Schools International Flag!!!!!!! This ROCKS!!! I am so proud of our little country school and my groovy little committee!! Oops, I best feed the kids and get them ready for school. I was so nice to sit and write. DDB~ Dont stop posting or commenting. This site is for everyone. I am sure your heart was in the right place. You have apologised for any misunderstanding. It is water under the bridge. Deb~ you have been sounding wonderful!!!! Your loss is FABULOUS!!!!! Keep on!!! Girlie~ you are getting a real taste of motherhood. Hope everyone is doing well. Prayers! Hevron~ you are doing great!! Annie? Annie?? where'd you go. You are geting so slim i cant see you!!!! You must feel so proud and wonderful. Susie~ how are things? Penpal~ Welcome and congrats on your work out motivation!! Shamerandi~ How's it going today?? Jodster????? HUGS!! |

Hey, things are going pretty good for me today.. I splurged a bit last nite when we went out for dinner, but I seriously doubt I went that much over my targeted points for the day since I was only at 12 for the day when we went out. I had 16 left and I can't imagine a rice, veggie, chicken plate having more than that even with the sour cream!! LOL Im completely back on today. I've been up for 3 hours, had a slim fast and have still not got hungry. I'm chug a luggin' on my water and hopefully I'll get 100 oz in today!! I need to get up on the rest of the posts and learn everyone's names and goals!! :)
|
It's 3pm and I've had NO water!
Oh my goodness! I just realized it's 3pm here in Indy and I haven't had 1 ounce of water today. YIKES!! :o OK, I really must get on this whole Halloween challenge. Ever since I said it, I've been a slacker!
Shamernadi - 100 oz??? You go girl. You're my idol. Penpal - You're in good company here. Lot's of emotional eaters in the group! Holly - You're just busy, busy, busy, aren't you! Debbie - Did u find the smileys? Annie - Hey chickie! Good job on the recent loss. DesertDust - Don't leave us! I'm sure it's water under the bridge. Girlie - I won't even talk about my bra issues...too many to mention! (or should I say much??) :lol3: Jodi, Susie - Hello, girls?? We miss you! :gossip: Be blessed this weekend! I don't work on Fridays and have trouble posting from home, so I'll check in with you chicks on Monday! |
TGIF All....Rainy and Muggy today here in Indy. My son has a football game tonight, hope the rain stops.
Not a lot going on, staying OP and hope to have a good WI on Monday. A good friend of mine had the gastric bypass surgery a week after I joined WW. She has lost 32 pounds, and is not please as she thought it would come off faster than that. I think because I have lost 22 on WW, she thinks she should have lost more. Howdy to all....have a remarkabley OP weekend. Chat at cha on Monday. Annie. |
Hi Everyone!
I've only just started posting, but I've been "lurking" on this thread for quite a while - you guys have been very inspirational :goodvibes
I just had to share my excitement today when I stepped on the scale and it read 201.5! :cb:. I didn't believe it at first so I kicked the scale around a bit and bumped it on the floor a few times:goodscale: and then used my "backup" scale and it still read 201.5 :dancer: I'll have to be careful not to sabbotage myself this weekend as I've often fallen off the wagon after losing a couple of pounds because I kid myself I can eat a "few" more calories :eating2: and still lose. I would LOVE to be in Onederland by the end of this month! I hope you guys all have a good weekend :sunny: |
I was down a 1/4 lb at TOPS , LOL. Still need 3 down for pre summer weight.
A quieter day. 6 kids. 2 have gone home, 1 is napping 3 are watching tv. We went to the play group this morning. It has rained steady all day. A glorious rain. i need to do some Avon work. I have two more reps to sign up for my leadership team.I could win a TV or diamond pin or $10,000. yup $10,000, across Canada tho.I have just as good a chance as anyone. Food has been iffy but less in amount. water is always well over 100 oz. I never stop movin but I dont burn enough. HUGS!! |
Hi everyone,
I had a very busy week. TGIF... I did well on food until dinner tonight I had a cheeseburger and onion rings. :( I have to get back on track with curves. I haven't been this week. I have plans to go tomorrow. I been drinking my water. Thats not a real issue with me. Holley: $10,000 would be a nice treat. Good luck!! CONGRATES!! with the weight loss. Any loss is great. :) Penpal: CONGRATES!!! You are sooo close to onderland. That must feel so good. :) YEA!!! I still haven't figured out the smiley's yet. I'm truly computer illerate. Annie: I feel like I also have had great results on WW. I only wish I had tried I before now. Like when I hoovered at 200lbs for about 10 years. Heather: Hi !! DRINK,DRINK your water. I better go My grandson is here and I want to spend some time with him Good evening friends. |
crash and burn.
It was bound to happen. I coldn’t sleep at all last night because of all the stuff I need and want to do. Needs: bathroom is beyond unsanitary, little boys pee everywhere; dishes;laundry;we are sticking to the kitchen floor;Avon deliveries;collect some Avon cash;help DS with school work;make calls for handbook to get final changes( wish these people would follow through the deadline was yesterday);make SS attendance charts Wants: to make dill pickles(very late but still may get cucs);clean up toys clutter everywhere;to have a nice party for DD’s Bday; to have a sucessful career with Avon;the put time into Avon to make this happen; my son to be a happy light hearted little boy*sigh* The needs and wants get blurred. DH and kids have not been helping for 2 weeks with housework. DH is gone 12 hours a day at a new job. That also means he is earning more.He has had a cold. He has been taking DS to hockey 3 Xs a week. DD started gymnastics last night. It is an hour. I ran to Sam’s club for potatoes, bread, milk ,bananas and fruit during. Afterwards, us girls went shopping. I have had the same spring/fall coat for 9 years. It is a red windbreaker style. I cant get the dirt out of it anymore. I cringe to look at it. Franky it was never quite my style. So I found a perfect black wool/polyester blend pea coat with a double row of buttons. And then I bought a thin raincoat that is pale green and only $9. DD got a new pair of pants. I was awake til after 4 am worrying about my son. He is not able to do his school work in class. He is agonizing over every detail, afraid to make mistakes. He is saying things like I am too dumb and I just want to die. I am devasted. DH and I are talking a lot and helping him. His teacher wants to help DS too but he wont let her. I have a looooong list but not a lot of commitments. I need to breathe. I had my little cry. Kids are currently playing happily. Food ,water, wash away the tears and 1 thing at a time. |
Holley: (((HUGS))) Wipe those tears my friend. You are the Queen of organization. Take a long soaking bath. Then sit down and write out a new game plan.
As for ds, let him know you believe in him. He'll do fine in time. He is probably the artistic type, passionate, and Moody. |
slept like the dead for 8 hours. Woohoo!!!!!! 2nd night ina row!!!!
Yesterday was relaxing. I was still feeling monumentally burned out but not over the edge of reason. I think hubby is feeling neglected. We need to schedule a date. I again spent lots of time one on one with DD. We have so much fun. A lot of the time I am dealing with DS behaviour and don’t get to enjoy her as much. We did go for her Bday pony ride. And the 2 girls that came with us gave her ponies to play with. It was charming. I ripped up the hallway carpet upstairs and the under-pad was GLUED down. AAAAH! Freaks. Everything in the house was done *** backwards. Much scraping had gone on. I am signing up a new Avon rep for my team this aft and another tomorrow. Weehee. That gives me 4 ballots out of 25 to win a 27 inch TV and 2 towards a diamond ring. Gotta love the incentive stuff. Plus i will receive a $250 bonus for signing up 5 people in less than 8 campaigns!!!!!!! I am gong to hire a cleaner to do a fall clean with it!!!!!!!!!!!! I rock. Okay vacuuming and laundry to fold this morning. I have the aft OFF!!!!! May just dance around naked to some Doobie Brothers. Have a footloose day!!! |
Hi Ladies,
Time got away from me at the end of the week so I was MIA. I was VERY unhappy when I weighed in at TOPS on Thursday. I had a 2 lb gain and I was shocked! I have been eating on plan and working out. It's hard when your body responds that way. I am very proud of myself for not giving up, and binging after that weighin. I decided that the efforts will eventually show themselves. I had a good weekend. I got a lot done. It makes me feel better to have things organized. Holly: HUGGSSS...I know how you are feeling. Hopefully you were able to push that overwhelming feeling aside and came up with a game plan. I know that you are very capable of getting back in control. I've got to get to work but I wanted to check in. Susie |
Good morning everyone,
Things are sh*tty in texas. REALLY!! The pipe going into our septic tank broke causing a backup... Can you say phewww!!? As if that wasn't enough our electric flashed off 14 times in 1 hour before it went off for 4 hours. What a day. Now all the guys are rushing around trying to get everything fixed. I'll have to keep this short I'm the goofer...You know go fer this and go fer that..lol. |
Rough weekend
Hi all! Boy, this weekend was a rough one; they always seem the hardest for me w/food and water.
Good report: saw the doctor on Thu and have dropped 2 lbs since last month. It's only a tiny movement on the scale, but I'll take it. Been trying to meet w/her regularly for weight mgmt talks and getting prepared for gastric bypass next year. I think I'm taking the plunge. It still requires discipline, so I'm trying to get that in check ahead of time. Debbie - Sorry to hear about all the home issues! Hope you got those all worked out. :( Susie - I know how discouraging that is to gain pounds when you think you've done so good. New Lady Fitness keeps trying to tell me I'm "developing muscle and muscle weighs more than fat". Yada, yada, yada. I know it's true, but when does the weight come off?? :kickcan: Holly - Glad you finally got some rest. Sounds like you needed it! Penpal - You are SOOO close! I'm jealous. Stick around here and be an inspiration for the rest of us, OK? :drill: Annie - I'm sure your friend's weight is going to keep coming off. Is she having any trouble after surgery? Just curious... :chin: Shamer - Are you getting in that 100 oz? I'm having the hardest time w/water now that I've declared it to be my Halloween challenge! :write: Have a fantastic week, ya'll... |
