Cool! Let's all go to Sugar's and watch I'll bring the wine.

That's all right, Bagz, I wasn't the one wanting to start a book club, that was Painter. I'd be bad too; it takes me weeks to read books. I just wanted someone to take this book/chainletter thing. I haven't gotten rid of any yet. My friend who moved to Wabbit's neighborhood might be getting one, although I don't want her to stop speaking to me.

Actually these pants are pretty easy to sew -- they're kind of like clown pants or something. Too bad I'm so dopy I haven't finished a pair yet. I'm exhausted. I spent the whole afternoon cutting material again -- absolutely back-breaking. I need a nap. Oh yeah, I already took one. Well, I need to go to bed then.

Wink Gads!

It's Ash Wednesday already. We completely forgot about Pancake Tuesday!!! It's a cow tradition that goes along with Boxing Day, hudda and the green shoe.

I made brownies yesterday. Won't even say how many I ate. Then I made brownies again today because the kids were complaining that they hardly got any yesterday. Let's face it. I'm a sugar addict. Must exercise today.

Kiwi, if you have good sewing scissors, you can cut out more than one pair of pants at a time, if they're all the same size. How many do you have to make? I should post the photo of DD in the last halloween costume I made for her. It was a satin Snow White dress. She looked absolutely beautiful in it. She had the perfect Snow White hair and complexion. At one time I considered starting a business doing wedding dress and bridesmaid dress alterations and sewing. I came to my senses. I decided that it would take the fun out of sewing. Now I just do home decor sewing. Can't remember the last piece of clothing I made.

I need to picture the DH doing exercise. Is he wearing cute work out gear?

Well, being the sewing-impaired person I am, I think that might spell disaster for me! I'm probably better off doing things one at a time, so if I screw up, I haven't used up all the material in one monumental goof (Did I tell you I've taken DD's pants apart twice? I figured out last that I sewed the waist where the bottom pants leg hems were supposed to be Picture that! No wonder they looked so funny)

I hope it's not leopard print spandex....

Gotta get back to the sewing machine and see what else I can mess up. Wish I had time to go outside and cross-country ski or snowshoe today -- it's beautiful, sunny and the snow is just beginning to melt.

Hi Sugar! Bummer we missed an opportunity for pancakes. I'm sure we'll make up for it somehow....

I was all excited about Kyoto Garden, but I guess I'll wait for another verdict!

Berry... hope your gall bladder is resting in peace, wherever it is... and that lungs clear up... I had walking pneumonia for about 2 months once before anybody noticed. A great dose of antibiotics and a few breathing treatments took care of it.

Am now reading Revenge of the Middle Aged Woman... too many interruptions (sleep and work... darn) to get really into it.

Laundry sculpture was de-constructed by darling husband... All laundry is presently washed, folded or dirty in hamper... No stray moguls of fabric on the floor.

Happy Lent... if that makes sense.
