Tonya oh my gosh I am sorry sorry to hear about your cousin. What a terrible thing to happen and she was so young. Her poor sister and mother and the whole family. My thoughts are with you also.

A little refresher on me last year at this time I was about almost 170, when I joined this site I was 158, and now I am down to the low 140's. Without pms I can get a little lower So now that pms is gone I might weigh in this Saturday, Noelle has got us all weighing in on Saturdays if we want.

Hello to everyone! Yeah we made it above 0 the temp now is 1!!!! Yeah

Tonya and Julie, I am sorry for both of your losses. Tonya, I know how strong a twins bond can be. My son and daughter are twins and I know it makes things easier for them because they always have each other.

My eating is horrible. I did so well for 2 days and then I let "research"(which means going places and comparing products and prices) for our move mess me up. I found a neat sight. It calculates how much more expensive one place is to live over another. The closest city to where we want to move is Daytona Beach so going on $40,000.00 per year income in Daytone, I would need to make closer to $49,000.00 to live the same in Portland Maine!!! That was so eye opening. It costs so much more to live in this state than any other. I also found a sight that said maine ranked number 48 out of the best states to operate a business in and Florida ranked number 2 as one of the best. Maine just sucks all around!! haha

Tonya, we would like to move to Florida. If we can sell our house and business up here we are going.

Kempy, How is school going?

Did anyone watch My Big Fat Obnoxious Fiance? That girl seemed so stuck up!! Couldnt she just have fun with the experience. You could just see the disgust in her eyes when she looked at him. I like the Surreal Life too. haha

Cal, Since you live in Arizona, I am wondering how often you come across a tarantula or some other nasty spiders in your house. I hate spiders and I am trying to find out about how often I may have to deal with them. haha

Same to you Kempy and Noelle. Can you all tell they freak me out? haha

Julie, that is so great!! wow you are doing good I have TOM right now too, but it's around the 4th day, so my weight is pretty accurate, it was higher the first few days.

Angie, yeah her twin is having a hard time, she got married 2 months before her sister died, so that's good. She has someone to be with all the time, but she says it's hard, because she feels like half of herself is missing, and she doesn't want to hurt her husbands feelings, but that's how she feels. It's understandable though, because she and her sister were completely inseperable their entire lives... The holidays were hard for them, I just feel so bad

Oooooo Florida sounds so nice, I wonder if I could deal with warm weather all the time though, and bugs, ewww!

well I am going on 3 days in a row is being so good it's silly. I am always this way though, so very motivated at first, then after a few months I start to slack off, it's always been a bad pattern of mine. Then one day I realize I have gained 20 lbs, and I beat myself up so bad. that's why I am taking control now while it's a small thing.

Noelle, are you still doing WW? We can share recipes

Angie: The only insects I've found at our house are crickets. I hate them. Noisy little buggers. We don't see too many tarantulas. I can send you one in a paper weight if you'd like. We have scorpions as paper weights also.
Even more than spiders (and crickets) I hate roaches. Nothing worse.

Tonya: Congrats to your brother and good luck to him for the NFL. I liked SLC also when I lived there. I loved the change of seasons. Here in AZ we only have 2 seasons: July and hot. Of course, in Calif we used to say there were 4 seasons: mudslides, earthquakes, fires, and floods.
I never learned how to ski. I've been to a couple of ski resorts, but only to watch everyone else. One day I'd like to try it. My sister said it was the best weight reducer she'd ever tried.

Kempy: Has your brother come to AZ yet? I think I remember you said he was going to Peoria.

Ashley has learned to ride her bike without training wheels. One more giant step to independence. We can hardly keep her off of it now. She rides it every day after school. In fact, hubbie let her ride it to the bus stop this morning then he brought it back home. She's growing up way too fast.

My brother called today and said our grandmother is not doing very well. She's 86. He said that she's tired of fighting. She has colon cancer and has lived 4 months (so far) longer than the doctors thought she would. Her Hospice nurse said that they don't expect her to live through March. She's the only grandmother I knew and I grew up with her. We may go to Calif next weekend to see her. My aunt (dad's sister) has been living with Grandma since last summer; taking care of her. This week they finalized all the financial dealings and the funeral arrangements. My grandfather died the day after Ashley's 3rd birthday. I guess Grandma is ready to join him.

Happy Weekend to everyone.

Hey everyone. I've been a little under the weather and still busy as heck so I haven't had time to post...I missed ya guys yesterday. Well, I weighed in with a fn' .5 lb gain --I suppose it could be worse but I hate having to relose weight I already lost before. I guess I could blame it on TOM, yeah, that's it. I didn't weigh in last week, so basically from 2 weeks ago I'm up .5 lb. Now I need to get this big booty in gear and work it. Rick's doing a little work at my cousin's house so I made him take the boy with him so he could play with my cousin's daughter. I'm staying home and being a domestic goddess (laundry, cleaning, etc.).

Julie, wow seeing your stats like that is impressive! You've done GREAT and you should be proud. yikes, above zero degrees is warm?!! I guess we need to focus on the positives eh? Hope it warms up for ya gals up north! So sorry to hear about hubby's grandma-- hugs to you all.

Angie we do have spiders here but I don't see 'em much. There's those daddy long-legs type spiders but I only see the little baby ones, then there's the monster Cane spiders--big, brown and almost hairy--they look like skinny tarantulas minus the stripes . I don't see those much at all anymore, but I know they're outside lurking. Lot's of geckos and B-52 sized flying cockroaches though, especially when the weather's nice and humid. So there you go.

Cal, offering my thoughts and prayers to your grandmother as well. I grew up with my grandmother too and when she passed 11 years ago it was very very hard. Hugs to you and your family. I totally know how you feel about your baby growing up way too fast , I feel the same way about my boy.

Tonya, yup still doing WW. Unfortunately, my favorite recipes are the dessert ones--like baking the cake mixes with can of diet soda and no eggs or oil...or the cake mix with the pure canned pumpkin...can you see a trend here? I need to get focused again on the program--it works really well when you do it, I know that and just need to do it, darn it!

Hello to Kempy, Sarah, Jacks, Susan....everyone~~have a great weekend.

Now this is what I like to see. I knew I should have dropped in before now. I was just really busy with school. Sorry.

Hey Tonya it is great to see you back in here. Sorry to hear about your loss. Now that you are back here with us we can get you back where you need to be.

Julie I had no idea you have done that good. I am so proud of you. I hope some of you can rub off on me too. How is your grandmother doing? Did your hubby get to go see her yet?

Cal same for you. I hate that so much of this is going on right now. I mean I know it happens but I usually don't see 3 of my friends at a time having to go through it. Hugs to you too.

Noelle I am right there with you on the anger of .5lbs. These diet pills are really helping me and when I go up a little I freak out. I just hope that I am not losing muscle. I need to push myself tomorrow to lift weights so I can make sure I am not. I ususally use more than one drop of the hot sauce too. I love hot foods. I just don't like the kind that burns my nose.

Anige don't worry about the bugs. It isn't like they chase you down here. they are just trying to scare you into staying. I think if you can make a better life for yourselves than go for it. I loved living in FL. I was on the other coast though. I still wish I could get you closer to me. I guess now that you guys don't hae the RV you wont be coming this year to see us?

Jacks I still don't remember when your wedding is. Can you tell me one more time. One of our massage therapists is getting married on Feb 14. She has officially gotten into freak out mode. I keep trying to calm her down. I tell her if she doesn't relax now she will never enjoy he wedding when it gets here.

Did we lose Susan?

Not much really going on down here. I have yet again spent my only day off cleaning the house. I hate doing that but it has to get done. I have got to figure out a way to do it over the week so I can enjoy my time off. I am down a total of 5.5 lbs now I just want to make sure I can keep going and then once I hit goal maintain. I hit goal last year and then blew it right back on up and then some. I guess that is all of our problems huh? I wonder how people do it? I see all of these women that lose all of this weight and keep it off for years. Do any of you know how they do it?

OK I will chech back in later with you guys. The dryer is buzzing for me.

Kempy it is so great to see you checking in on the weekend. We have missed you. Sadly my husband's Grandmother died today around noon. He was there with the family when she had her last rights said and prayers. He is having a hard time because he was so close with her and spent weekends with her.
Congrats on the weight loss. You are doing wonderful !!

Noelle hon, don't worry about the .5 gain, it could just be water. You are working so hard and doing great.

Hello to everyone. I am watching light snow fall now. By Tuesday we are suppose to have six more inches. Yuck. Oh well, I see the beauty in it also. It is so light and fluffy right now it looks like powdered sugar. I am trying to find the good in things even when they seem bad or down. Take care everyone and have a safe rest of the weekend. Julie

Good Morning!!

Julie, I am so sorry to hear that your hubbies grandma passed away. My thoughts are with you all.

Kempy, The people never bought the RV, instead they had me take pics of every angle and emailed me all day about it and then I never heard anything else from them.

Cal, I would die if I ever opened up a package and there was a Tarantula in a paperweight!! EEK!! I couldnt get myself to look at a wolf spider in the bakery long enough to spray it last summer. haha

Jacks, I had so much fun at my wedding. Just make sure you take the time to enjoy it when it gets here and dont stress too bad. (I know easier said then done. )

Noelle, I agree with Julie. Dont worry about the 1/2 pound, it could be worse, you could be me. hehe You have been doing so awesome lately. I have to admit I am a tad bit jealous that you have it all together and I am falling back into my old habits again. Jealous but PROUD!!!

Okay, here is my rant for the day. I need to get this out before I go throwing donuts at my inlaws again!! Jay went to his parents house last night to pick up my son well when he got there they kinda double teamed him because I wasnt there.(they know I can get loud when they act stupid) Basically assbreath(FIL) told Jay he is stupid for leaving all that we have here for a maybe. We shouldnt be broke but yet they are(hello?? I am raising 3 kids on 1/3 the income they have and yet I am supposed to be rich while they cry broke?) They just basically let him know that they think he is so stupid to just leave and basically that we must be blowing our money if we are broke. I do not get them 2. I really can say that I do hate my father in law. I can not stand him!! The only reason they dont want us to leave is because it will inconvenience them to have to get there own donuts and it may make it harder for them to get their $450,000.00 that they are asking for their business. Which of course noone in their right mind would pay that to work 16 hours a day every day of the week. End rant. I am sorry but it just makes me so mad that a parent is supposed to be supportive and all they do is accuse or try to make you feel stupid. I do have to admit that it definately makes me that much more determinned to leave so I never have to see him again.

Angie don't worry about them. You two will know what is best for you. It is going to be scary at first but you will make it just fine. What is Jay looking in to doing in FL?

Hi guys, sorry about being gone for a few days, I don't do much computer time over weekends sometimes

Julie, so sorry to hear about your husbands grandma My grandma is 88, and I don't go see her near enough. I feel terrible, I gotta get over there! At least your husband knows he saw her a lot in her last days, and that she is no longer suffering

Noelle, .5 is nothing girl! hehe Keep at it, I let 2 pound gains get to me so bad that often they turn into 5 because I get that F***- it attitude

Cal, yes skiing is good excercise!!! your entire body is stiff after a day of it , but it's so fun!

Kempy, thanks for the welcome back, it's good to see you too! This time even if I get busy or if I reach goal, I will stick around just to chat... I left for too long last time..

Angie, In Laws are hard eh ? Just ignore them.. all the more reason for you guys to move on and do your own thing.

Hi to everyone else! have a great day.... oh , by the way, I did weigh in saturday, I was at 125, pants are a little looser. I really need to start heavily on the muscle building now

Hi Girls

Thanks for the kind words. My eating was pretty much on track this weekend. Went a little overboard at supper last night. We made biscuits with whole wheat flour and they turned out good I was surprised. They have a heavier texture but they are suppose to be better than white flour. My weight is about the same didn't move to much this last week but its better than gaining!

Angie I agree with Kempy, try not to let them get to you. I know it is so hard because mine do sometimes too. Just follow your heart .

Tonya, thanks. I am glad your pants are getting better fitting for you. I want to get my layers of fat off because I know I have some good muscle defintion below it. After two kids, my lower stomach I don't know if I will ever get that tight and fit?....

Hello everyone. Lets all try to have a good day and stay on track even though it seems like everyone is having some kind of stress right now. We can't let other people get to us. I know easy to say. But I am trying to think on a more positive note. Julie

Kempy, We are going to move down and open a bakery again but this time do a storefront instead of wholesale accounts. This way we dont have to deal with a bunch of accounts and we can set our own hours.

Actually I woul like to have one before the funeral to calm my damn nerves, I can't handle funerals. I want to use the oven to warm this place up. We are going to have up to 8 more inches of snow by the middle of the day tomorrow.
