Hey everyone. I feel like a stuffed ...I just got done eating lunch which was nigiri sushi . Would you believe they have a drive-thru window for that? At least it's healthier fare than hamburgers and french fries! I also had my nails and feet done so I feel all prettied up . Anyhow, my weeks progressing along...I had a nighttime sweets attack yesterday--I gotta get a handle and stay on track or this weight will never get off. I feel like i'm plateauing (sp?) for now as my weight's been wavering 2 lbs up and down for about a month now. Could it be that I haven't been as OP as I like to think??? OK, I'll give myself a kick in the butt to get going FOR REAL.

Angie, I'm thinking good thoughts for you--I really hope you get to feeling better soon and the tests either turn up something the doc can fix, or it's something that will go away soon. THere's nothing worse than not knowing. Don't worry about the weight gain. The day I got back from vacation my scale said I was up 9 lbs and that was after a 2 week no-dieting pig-out mode--I totally understand where you're at. I made sure I stayed OP for the week before I had to weigh-in and I was only up 2 lbs. I'm pretty sure you've just got some bloatation going on and a lot of the weight will slide off once you get back on track. You go girl.

Hey Sarah. Good luck on WW. I found the first week to be my most neurotic, and yes it was a little difficult to get the points in at first. You'll get the hang of it and be amazed that it becomes second nature--and the weight will come off. I think you got a good deal for your books and a points slider. I love ebay deals too.

Kempy, put me in the PMS boat this week too. For the week prior I'm grumpy and I want to eat sweet/salty/sweet/salty...eat eat eat. I'm crossing my fingers for either you or Angie to win that BB trip! That would just be awesome. You guys can come and see some big surf--it's still pounding out there. We're supposed to even get up to 40-50 feet on the North short Thursday.

Julie, on the bright side you and your kids are very lucky to have so many people that love them and shower you with gifts. On the other hand, those excess toys lying around can drive you batty. I'm boxing up a few things of my son's for a charity pick up next week--BUT he has a b-day coming on Saturday so it's really just making room for a few short days . Enjoy the beautiful snow fall for me.

Cal, your goal is not to be meanest! You probably don't have it in you . I think that's sweet for the kids to tell you you're the best--little brown-nosers . Little things like that make it worth all the stress of teaching I would guess, well some days anyway. You're too funny, already counting down the weeks till next vacation

Hello to everyone else...lurkers and slackers, come out and post!

Angie again I hope everything turns out okay. Don't worry about the damn doughnut! Btw there is an hour long Simple Life on tonight I know that will make you feel better. You and I get a kick out of those two. I love the Sonic episode. You take care of yourself.

Good Morning!! The pain pills the doc gave me work good. I actually got a good nights sleep last night. Now I hope the pain goes away before the prescription runs out. haha

I can not get my fat *** in gear!!!!!!!

Guess how freaking cold it is up here today? -17 degrees!!!!! That is a windchill of -47!!!!! Tomorrows supposed to be -20!! I need to move so bad.

My mother in law bought a bunch of cereal and candy bars for the kids and I ate a bag of mini kit kats pretty much all by myself last night.

Noelle, Why are the waves so big there? Forgive me if you explained and I missed it.

Kempy, How was the clinic?

Julie, How was your night?

Cal, How was school?

Jacks, My kids fell in love with Petey's picture. Did he mind sitting there for it.

Good Morning Girls

Not to much to report today. Just that we got at least 5 inches of snow and it is suppose to snow on and off until Monday. Well I look at it this way shoveling is good excercise. I am to afraid to run the snowblower I am scared it would take off and it would be dragging me down the road .

Angie did you watch the simple life reunion? That was a really nice that the Leding family got a brand new Dodge Durango when Paris and Niki drove it in. Glad you got a good nights sleep. It really helps when you are not feeling good.

Kempy how did it go at the clinic?

Noelle that is a really good idea packing up some old toys for charity. I was going to save some for my brother and his fiance but I don't know how long I can stand to have them around. There is a battered womans and children center here in town that I might think about giving them to. I just love to give to charities when I can, it makes me feel good helping someone else.

Sarah I bet you do not miss the snow in Michigan. Hope you are having a great day.

Chat later! Julie

Finally made it in. I have been kind of busy here today.

Angie I heard this morning that in NH with the 75mph winds the wind chill was -95. That is why I life here for those main reasons. I hope you hear some good news. I think it is probably just stress. You aren't happy there and it is showing up physically.

Julie I love that show too. I think those girls are so funny. Nicole is my favorite.

Noelle when do I ask the post office what happend to your package? I am worried about it. Thank god it wasn't a live animal.

I went to the clinic yesterday and had to sit through an hour of nutrition info that I already know about but I guess that is just policy. They gave me a meal plan to follw. Nothing really strict just food exchanges to follow and then (please don't think bad about this) they gave me a perscription of diet pills. I hope they help me get to where I need to be. I am not going to depend on them. I am going to follow the food plan and exercise so we will see what happens.

What kind of pills were they? I have used some in the past but my doctor doesnt believe in pills so she would only let me do it for 2 weeks as a jumpstart. Let me tell you, I didnt even think of food while I was on them and absolutely NO cravings. They were called Phentermine or something like that. It was the supposedly safer side of Phen Phen. I would get a prescription of those again if I could.

I think we are breaking records with the cold this week. YEAH!!!!

I am trying to get my house all spotless for an appraisal. Who would have guessed how many nooks and crannies there are to the house.

I think that Nicole definately made the show. If it was just Paris and her sister I bet it would have been boring. Did you see the vet one last night. That is me at the doctors. I swaer to god!! The actual finnally is tonight. I want to watch My Big Fat Obnoxious Fiance too. haha It looks so funny.

That is the ones that I am on. I don't even want to think about food. I am having to make myself eat. That is the weirdest thing ever. I go from not being able to stop to this. A friend of mine took them and lost 12lbs in 2 weeks. I am sure some of it was water but that is fine by me. I just need something to help me out. I feel like I can tell you everything to do but when it comes to me it just doesn't work.

When I cleaned the house for my MIL in July it took me 2 full days of nonstop cleaning. I never thought that my house was that dirty.

Hello All!!

How is everyones day going?? For me this has been the worst possible day and I am hating my job. But, life will go on and I have not self medicated with food.

Angie--I sure hope that you get your results soon, so that you can get to feeling better. I am sure that it is nothing but stress. Good luck with the house also.

Kempy--Good luck with the new approach to the diet. I am sure that it will give you just the boost that you need to get started.

Julie--Nope, I do not miss the snow at all. Hope your day is going well and it gets warmer for you soon.

Cal--that is too funny about your students. i am sure that it did make you feel good though.

Well Hello to everyone else. Check back later

Kempy, What kind of training did you have to do to get your job? I would like to learn how to work in an office but have no idea how to go about it. They have online college courses in my community and they also do them at the high school but I dont know where to start. If we moved down there and just got jobs it would probably be easier but the only job I have ever had was in the bakery. I wouldnt want to do this and be working for someone else because it sucks. Jay is going to try to get his truck driving license because there were tons of jobs listed down there for truckers. His whole family are truckers.

Aloha Ladies...

Sorry I've been missing these past few days. Trying to get caught up with work. It's a really busy month for us - and it's making me CRAZY!!! Last friday I went on an interview at another company. Just looking to see what my options are. Right now I am hoping for a good offer. If not...I'll stick around here.

I've been training too. My legs feel like jelly! I'm so pooped. Well, I just wanted to pop in and say hello to everyone. Hope you all aren't too mad at me for not showing up in a while. After tomorrow I should have more time. Hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Hey all. I had a nice long post earlier this afternoon but then my server went down and so did the electricity! It just got back up. We've had some really huge wind gusts and torrential rain in my neighborhood--felt like a freakin' hurricane for a while there. But now it's nice and sunny, the wind's died down and the sky is a clear blue. Wacky wacky Wednesday weather.

I gotta run since it's close to closing time but I just had to pop in and say HI to all. Be back tomorrow with my usual long-windedness .

Hi Everybody,

Don't have that much time this am but just wanted to stop by and say Hello.
Jacks good luck with the new job. Hopefully it will work out for you. Sounds like you really have been training hard. When is you race/walk?

Angie hope you are feeling better and hear results soon. Waiting is hard.

Hope you have a good day at school Kempy and have sometime to check in before Monday. I know your busy but I miss chatting with ya . Good luck on those pills you will have to let us know how they work.

Hi to my other HI girl Noelle. I hope that wacky weather stays away. I know my kiddies get scared when it thunders and storms. How do you think you are going to do at your weigh in on Saturday? I am cheating because I don't weigh in with clothes on? I know they only probally add 1-2 pounds anyway without shoes.

Hello to Sarah, Cal and everyone else that I forgot. Julie

I got my results back today. My bloodwork came back fine but my xray came back with a little fuzziness on my lung which he says usually indicates pneumonia but...I am not sick with other symptoms so we are just going to finish out my prescription and if I dont feel any better afterwards then I get to go back for further testing.

Hey everyone, I've had a busy day but not too busy to pop in and say Hi . I'm glad to see they're restoring the forums back to their pre-crash condition *great job 3 fat chicks!* Did you guys know there's a paid subscription offer now to use the forum WITHOUT pop-ups? I didn't know that until today because I collapsed the Announcements window and didn't open it until today ...but anyway, you can do a 1 week trial for $1, a 3 month subscription for $10 or 6 months for $15, just pay via PayPal. I took the $15 option since I really hate clicking away those windows and well frankly, I don't mind at all paying money for this site--I don't know what I'd do without it~~even though we're not as "happening" here as we used to be . Come on girls, let's get everybody in the mood to get this weight off. I know we can do it!!!

Angie, I'm so happy you're bloodwork is normal. I'll keep praying your fuzzy lungs clear up and all is well and back to normal. Are you seriously thinking about working in an office setting? It's not that hard really--I know you can type and spell and that's better than 60% of some of the people I've worked with in a real office . If you moved to here I'd be happy to give you an office job (mine).

Jacks, you'd be so proud of me--I submitted my Great Aloha Run application in the mail today, just in time for the regular entry deadline. I'm not running it, but I'm walking it with a few of my sisters and I'm dragging Rick along too. Good luck on your job search! Better to see what's out there than stay where you are and be miserable.

Julie, I don't consider weighing w/out clothes cheating. In fact, I always choose my lightest clothes for my WI days, something like a t-shirt with a pair of yoga pants or something like that. I never weigh with my shoes on either...I think if you're consistent with the scale you use, the time of day and the type of clothes (or not) you wear, your weight loss progress will be accurate. *as far as my WI results, well, I'm not looking for a miracle. I haven't been exercising nearly as hard as I usually do and I've been getting into the chocolates that are still around from Xmas--but all excuses aside, I will post my weight on Saturday, scouts honor.

Sarah, I dunno if I've asked this before but what type of work do you do? Hope today was better for ya.

Kempy, how does the dr. or clinic determine what dosage of the phenterimine they give you? Is it based on your current weight? I wonder what my doc would say if I asked her for a prescription...good luck on your new regimen.

Hello to Cal, Susan and all of you great chickies out there.
