It is pouring down rain. No ice but plenty of rain. I am sure there are areas where flooding could occur.

Kris, I empathize with you about dealing with the inlaw families. I totally know what you are dealing with and I sure hope your cousin understands why you are not able to attend her wedding. If she doesn't now, she sure will soon! I bet you will look beautiful in that cream dress and I hope to see a picture of you in it. No plans for Valentines Day yet. I want to get a baby sitter and go out. But, I know what Jim will say. It's the weekend, every where will be crowded. Oh well. We are to go to a Valentine dinner at my sister's church on wed. night that her church does a drama every year. She wrote it last year and she wrote it this year as well. I don't find that that will do for Valentines day but it probably will.

Summer, the gym sounds like a great deal for you both. I know just having that in the works has made you feel like you have made your first step. It is good to get started. With Jim with you will help both of you to be accountable to each other and like going through the treatments together and coming out a winner you will do it again through the exercise programs that the gym will be able to offer you. They would probably have a Pilate class that you can attend to see if you like it.

Rosey, I'm real interested in that Stevia product and those other things you were talking about to boost your motabolism. I find that eating breakfast in the morning is good for me to get my M running but any extra kicks would be great!

Dana, how is the car? Did you get it back or did you have to trade it in for a boat with all this rain?

Hello Everyone.. Its a big mess outside today..Its a freezing rain mix.This morning it was really bad..Schools are closed here and in surrounding areas..There is alot of flooding around here too..Its just a big mess..Jim is off today. He is using some of his leftover days of last year..I am glad he did not have to be in the mess today..SO many accidents this am..Scarey ..I hope to get out to the store later today..They just said another storm possible of next week....Just what I wanted to hear ..I hope to see soon.....

I did get the car back and it drives like new. The noise is gone, air in tires, new spark plugs and belts and oil changed and air filter. They did everything to please me I'm sure after I let them have it before they ever started. I told them I wasn't taken that car home in worse shape than it was in when I dropped it off. The brakes were squeaky but didn't need any new pads on them and now they don't make noise. DH says they probably blowed the dust off of them. Anyway, it was $294 and well worth it so far.

Donna you should see my yard from all of the rain so far. It's awlful. It's like a huge lake over flowing in our back yard and rolling to the front. I know you get the idea cause you're getting it as well.

I got a note yesterday from logans teacher that she was concerned with his math and that he hasn't done his math test from earlier in the week. She wants a conference so I told her when was convenient for me which was basically during the day or after school on days that DH was off so he could take the kids home. She will have to settle with that cause thats the best I can do right now. I hope she doesn't think I dont' care by writing that.

Summer I am so happy for you and the gym info. I would definately take advantage of that if nothing else, at least go a month or so to see if it's truly worth your money. I think it's a good buy but you have to make yourself take advantage of it as well. Let us know when it starts and we'll help kick you out the door!

Kris I don't have those "out of state" conflicts the way you do but most of our family lives within 2 hours of one another and we go through that. My first cousin has a baby with the same birthday as my sister in law. My oldest son's 11th birthday was sunday while on my dh's side, there was a bridal shower going on just 5 minutes from here. It's so hard to please everyone but you just have to do what works for you and don't feel bad about anything but just to go on the record I AGREE WITH YOU!

Rosey did I tell you that I was going to sign on with DOTS or CTMH? A lady from florida is suppose to send me the info. I haven't gotten it yet but it's only been 2 days. I may get it today. It's $89.99 but you get a load of stuff from what she said in the email. I just want to be able to look at the catalogs and order when I feel like it and not have to deal with anyone. You understand I'm sure.

Daphne I hope you can post. She posted on the other thread earlier this week with Robert problems again and said that her DH was going to california a few days and she would be alone to post but that's all I can tell you.

Dana, Glad your car runs like new! I'm so glad. You sure need a break in that department of your life. What grade is Logan in? Elena made a F in math and social studies. I just had a conference with her teacher last Thursday. I hope that you can figure out what's going on with Logan and that his teacher will be able to meet with you when you can meet her at. It turned out for me, Elena was in another classroom while I and her teacher talked in the classroom because she couldn't see me till 2:30 and I had no where for her to go while I was talking to her. It worked out, Elena finished her homework and we had a nice discussion. What is that DOTS and CTMH you were talking to Rosey about? Is it something to do with card making? I have a friend in Florida who is now a Creative Memories consultant. She's having a blast.

Summer, how is the weather? It's sunny and some warmer here today. It was a lot of rain on us yesterday as well as the day before. What day next week does Jim go for his tests? How is Buddy doing?

Donna Logan is in 3rd. They don't score them A,B,C,D,F in 3rd here but only 4th grade and up. They get U, S, S+, & N's only. He really hasn't brough home what you call "bad grades". We went through this with brett in 3rd as well. I have a meeting with her tuesday at 11 while the class is somewhere else. I find that the conferences seem to have better meaning while the child is listening if you get my point. However, he probably will be somewhere else. She was concerned that he didn't know his multiplication tables well enough. The CTMH thing is Close To My Heart stamps and supplies just like the creative memories thing. You can only get the stamps from a consultant. They say you have to sell $300 per quarter to maintain your status but I don't think that will happen with me. I really am just after all of the catalogs and to be able to order for myself when I wanted too. The girl signing me up was suppose to be in florida but she's actually in texas. She said they had a Jr. Consultant program for those who don't sell the $300 which would be more like me, I'm sure!

Well I have to get a roast thawed out to be in the oven for supper. I am fixing that with carrots, potatoes, onions baked in it with probably biscuits just to make it "square".

Hi everyone..we had snow again about 8 inches and we just finished paying for plowing and shoveling and snow blowing yesterday and the day before so the dh and neighbor kid are out doing it again..hes not a happy camper..i think we have about 4 1/2 feet of snow now on the level..i cant see out my living rm windows as the snow blocks my view..our dinner last nite was fun..i had prime rib and a salad and 1/2 baked potatoe..i brought 1/2 home as i couldnt eat it all..maybe the tea and calcium is helping..there was 12 of us..we had another invite to dinner also..a long time friend(who now lives in albama) is here to havea memorial for her dh who passed away a few weeks ago..we had allready made plans and she was upset that we were not coming..made me feel bad as i know this must be an awful time for her..we will attend the service tomorrow tho..glen i hope you have agreat weigh in..dana i love the dots stamps and i have alot of them..i really like their white card stock too..hello to kris donna summer and daphnee hope you all have agreat weekend..check in later rosey

Hello Everyone... I am happy today I saw the ..I was so happy for that because yesterday it was freezing rain all day and accidents..
Schools were closed and I finally got out to the store and back.. I was so glad to be out of the traffic with the sleet coming down..People cannot drive in it and it makes for a scarey trip anywhere..
I have been a lazy bones today..Still in my jammies and reading and watching TV..I made some calilflower mashed potaotes today to have with a meatloaf I will fix tomorrow...I fixed some Chicken salad and I cant believe that I got my hubby to eat a Tortilla..he liked it..I almost I could never get him to try things like that before..but now he is willing to try..Does anyone know the best one for dieting?? I got the one that says fat free..I want to do them instead of bread for a sandwich for him and me.. I hope that this weather stays awhile cause the snow is melting but we are getting flooding like everyone else..
We all need a break from all of this...awful weather

I would think that the teacher will be willing to work with you on the time you can come to talk with her..I feel for Logan and all the other kids today..They give them all so much to do and alot of homework. Thats really hard on children today in school..not like me back when I was in school in the stone age....we didnt have all of that..Things were taught differently..
I am sure you will get it straight..You are a great Mom..so I know he will be fine..I am sorry that your back yard is a swimming pool..I have seen that here to..not in my yard but near us alot of flooding..

That place is well known for thier Cancer research. I dont know if you have heard of it but alot of people come here from everywhere because of it..

The b-day party was fine, as was my visit with Brad.

I feel like such a slug. I haven't been to the gym since Friday, and it doesn't look promising for this afternoon. Maybe I can do my pliates tape tonight instead.

I am going to try to tan tomorrow and the rest of the week. I am also going to do the spray on tan on the Thursday morning before I leave. I am kind of getting excited. My goal this weekend is to find appropriate "foundational garments" that will suck it all in and pull it all together for the ball.

I also got some disturbiing news, but want t o investigate further before I talk about it.

Hi everyone.. we had to shovel again yesterday before we could even leave for that mem. service it warmed up and the snow came off the roof and piled up on the steps 4 feet deep of wet compacted snow.. we have areal steep roof and its metal so when it warms up the snow slides off..the neighbir kids made bundle of of us yesterday..im going to take pictires so you can see how much snow we have its un real..but normal for winters here..the service was diff..and sad..my g friend gave the eulogy..she was really strong as i dont think i could have done it..it was a masonic funeral.. never been to one like that before.. but am glad she had closure..she leaves for albama today..i will miss her..i finally faced the scale today..id been not trying to hard since thanksgiving until the last 2 weeks.. how could i tell what progress id made if i didnt weigh.. well the good news is my clothes are looser and i feel great..however am not sure how much i had gained since thanksgiving..but know what i weighed after my surg..so have gained 3 # since then.. over the hoildays etc.. as im 3# more than what i was when i left the hosp..so thats an eye opener..am sure it was more than that.. but the journey continues..kris..your dress sounds beautiful..glad the party was ok and hope what ever your investigating turns out the way u want???summer.. i found a label for the yougart and it does have splenda in it and 3 grm of sugar..its the lowest sugar one that i have found..donna.. wow what a neat vacation..lucky you..when will you be going??dana..does that mean you will be a sale person for dots and ctmh??mr ken... i dont have alot of snowmen but sure do have alot of snow..if the grandkids where here they would be making snow forts and snowmen..daphnee the guys are looking for you ..and sheree...we are leaving for anch today.. the dh has a dr apt tomorrow..but the roads are bad so we want to drive while its daylight..other wise we would have to get up at 6 am to leave in the dark..we will stay with the dd tonite..and be home late tomorrow..im getting tired of all these trips but then i would miss hugging my grandkids and no walmart...will talk to you all when i get back..(((hugs))) rosey
