Hello Everyone...Sorry that I wasnt in her all weekend. So much going on..
The Moose went great.. Hopefully we will get more work from others..I hope so.. Friday afternoon..I just got home from a haircut and was talking to my nextdoor neighbor on the patio..A elderly lady that walks all the time was out and she said hello and mentioned what a beautiful day it was. This was about 3:00 in the afternoon..We said hello and talk to her for afew minutes and she went on her way..Then I came in the house.. On the chair was Jim's jacket but no Jim when I called his name.. I thought this was very strange..About that time the phone rang..When I got to it they hung up..I looked and saw it was Jim's cell phone so I called it back. I said why did you hang up and where are you..He said grab a towel and come out front of our building. A woman has fell down and he called the rescue.. I got the towel and flew out the door.. The lady that I just saw walking was on the ground and in pain...She wanst bleeding but she was in pain..I could tell that..
She said she had slipped on the sand on the sidewalk. They had put down sand cause of the ice and some of it was still there..I held her hand untill the rescue got there..She was so scared..Poor lady...
This is what happened..Jim came in the house form work. He went to the bedroom as usual and heard her calling for help from our bedroom window. I had the windows open cause Friday it was nice out..Thank the good Lord he heard her...No telling how long she would have layed there cause that time of day no one is usualy home yet. Jim was home early cause we were playing the Moose....and I was still out on the patio talking to my neighbor so I would have not heard her either..Well she did break her hip and is having surgery today.. I understand she is doing ok and will go to a nursing home for rehab..then come home.. What a way to start out the evening..After all of that we got ready to play the Moose..I was still a little shaken from all of that..But the Moose went great..
I was a little tired Sunday and had to the grocery store...
Today I made soup cause the weather is cold again..I think I might be coming down with something casue I dont feel good Chills and headache.

Rosey..Sounds like you have been busy with getting ready for you DD and Grandbabies coming this week...I am sure you are very happy about that..It so shard when you feel hungey like that..I have those days too..Its hard..Iknow what you mean..Hang in there...

Donna.. I am so sorry that yo have to get your elbow operated on.. I am sure you will be fine..but I am keeping you in my prayers as always..

... I dont blame you for not wanting to do it before going the islands.. Can it wait untill after you get back??? Are you in to much pain???
I sure hope not..Thank-you for all of your support and caring..I have not called the surgeon yet but I will this week..Please let us all know about when your your surgery is to be done..I have you hand..Sweetie...

I do understand..You are right about all that Jim had been through and this will go smoothly..Thank you for all of your support and caring..I dont blame you for being concerned about that neighbor opening a store with all thats going on there....I cant get over Brett having that sugery at 5 weeks old..Unreal...The things they can do is amazing..Dont worry about your gain..You will lose it cause of doing your exercises so faithfully..You are doing it..It will come off..It takes time..It so hard..I am with you..

Rosey I'm so sorry you were all alone. I do hope you didn't eat that kitchen sink. With all you've been through with that bathroom, I would seriously hate for you to have to put a new sink in your kitchen.

How long will your family be visiting?

Summer thank goodness Jim was able to hear that poor lady. I couldn't imagine the pain she must have been in. I vaguely remember my great-grandmother breaking her hip but I do recall the way she used to walk with her walker. Of course that was a good many years back and the surgery they can do now probably helps the recovery a lot. That's great you had fun at the moose and I just know business will be booming for you guys real soon. I hope nothing is wrong with you either. Take care of that Summer! We can't let you slide on your health while looking out for others.

I hope everyone else can pop in to say hi soon. I did get my internet call waiting working late yesterday. It's with Bellsouth, same as my internet so I went online to a chat with their tech support and it's fixed. It was actually some of those "ads" that got in my computer and they had me run ad-aware 6.0 to get it off and it worked like a charm. Now I have to let that run everytime I cut the computer on. They are calling for snow here from wednesday night until late on friday. Not that it will go on that long but that's the times its actually in the forecast after we had such beautiful weather last week and over the weekend.

DH is off today so we went in about 5 stores this morning. I got this shelving unit that you put over your washer/dryer. I've want one for years to put our washing powders etc. on to keep it off the dryer. We can use a lot of shelves and storage anyway. I also got me another roll cart with 4 drawers to put more of my stamping stuff in. Rosey I could only imagine how much you've accumilated.

I did get my new stamps from Darcies and haven't used them yet. Got them yesterday. I also got my CTMH kit and I'm really overwhelmed by it all. It is more based on starting a business but it's not that I can't use it for personal use either. You get bigger discounts if you remain a consultant which requires you to have $300 in sales each quarter but you can drop to Jr. Consultant otherwise. The catalogs are amazing. Rosey maybe you've got one or seen them. They are chalked full of project ideas for cards and scrapbooks. Then it tells you on each page what they used and how to order it with the price and all. Toward the back is pages of supplies such as stamps. They did send me 8 of them to share with others that turns out to be $40 of the $89.99 you paid for the kit. What disappointed me is I paid for 2 day shipping and it took 16 days all together to get it. There's so much I haven't even read about yet but I"m already interested in a lot of the ink pads.

Well I hate to run so soon but it's time for me to go get the kids and this mess in the living room will just have to wait until later. i hope everyone has a good evening.

Hi everyone..another cloudy day..still have lots to do..blessing the house..im a procrastinator and wait till the last min..no dana..i didnt eat the sink

but could have..the dh is watching what he eats now to..its knda funny as he asks me what and how much..hes preparing himself for the surg and feels if he looses it will be easier for him..hes really freaked out about this surg..am trying to reassure him poor guy..anyways last nite he said ya know im really hungry..and my reply was now you know what i feel like all the time

..drink some water..he growled at me

..dana your stamping stuff sounds like such fun..i do ahve those catalogs..they put out anew one every year and i love the ideas and products..have a blast..summer..sure hope that elderly lady is ok..thankgoodness your jim heard her..glad the moose gig went well..soooooooo where is every one else???my dh has taken the dogs ..one to the groomers and the retreiver to a new place called the doggy car wash..a do it your self place and they provide the equipment and shampoo and towels etc..id like to be a fly on the wall to see how the dog reacts

the dh wanted to give her a bath in my new shower and i said NOWAY!!!..its worth the 15$ for someone else to have the mess

Hello Everyone....I am feeling a bit better today..I have been laying around and taking it easy..Which is very hard for me to do.. I really dont like laying around..I always think of what I could be doing..but dont feel like it.

I will up and about tomorrow..I hope..
Weather here is sunny and a bit chilly other-wise real nice..
I have been eating the soup I made and I am thankful I made alot so I dont have to really fix anything for dinner..
I have some things to do tomorrow and I want to check on the lady that fell to see how she is doing...Thank-you ALL for all the get well wishes for her..
I will let you all know..Plus I want to see about Buddy too..

I am here just had Jason home and it it hard to get online when he is here. I have to tell ya all about a great buy I got today at Walmart. They had king sized quilts with 2 pillow shams on clearance for ..... 14 dollars! I bought me 2 of them. I can't remember what all I did buy but it was almost 45 dollars. Oh yeah they had material on sale for a dollar a yard so I bought 11 yards to make a quilt. I want to go buy more

I will try and post more later wiith ya all I need to shower and get some food going for dinner.

Guys they are calling for major snow here. 6 to 10 " or more from midnight tonight until friday morning. I'm so excited. The blazer is back in the shop and all I can tell yo uso far is it quit on the road yesterday and wouldn't crank and had to be towed in today to the same people who "fixed" it back in july. The guy who came to get it said their was gas mixed in with the oil. He smelled it on the dip stick so I have no idea what this bill will end up being. We won't see it for a while either cause either the snow will be in the way (our town stops in snow) or DH does have to work the next 2 days and then the weekend so who knows. I just hate it that my car will end up being driven in that bad weather.

Summer I'm glad you are feeling better. Let us know how buddy and your neighbor are doing. She's still in the hospital isn't she? Are you planning on receiving this snow after we're through with it??

I know how you hate it.

Rosey so how did DH do with the dog wash?

Will he do it again? If he says no then that's an indication of how well it went, or didn't! I know you're expecting your company tomorrow. Have fun and enjoy. How much white stuff do you have now?

Did you guys see idol lastnight? That Latoya girl is awesome and I just know she has to be one of the top 2 tonight. She gave me chills something awlful lastnight and she will get to sing again if she gets chosen tonight.

Well I hate to cut it short but I have loads to do cause we do have to prepare for school tomorrow in case the weather doesn't pan out. Hope you all are having a great evening.

Same thing is going on here donna. It's still falling out there and as of now, our school hasn't been called yet for tomorrow. I really need to know that info. soon cause we only have the one car and DH's suppose to work tomorrow. He went in today only to come home an hour later. Hope everyone else is staying warm and dry.

Hello Everyone...Its been a chilly here today but lots of

..I hope it stays that way.. I have been out today making the rounds.. Buddy is holding his own.. He has been taking breathing treatments at the hospital and no decission has been made about more Chemo or not. Personally I hope that the Dr. waits untill he is stronger. I really dont think he can take alot right now. He is very week.. I took him a cake over and spent a few minutes with him..I didnt want to tire him out. He was tired enough.. I tried check on the lady that fell..I am waiting on info about her...I hope that everything is ok with her.....Tomorrow I have alot more errands. Taking a friend to a Dr. appointment. Her car is being serviced..Then hopefully we will go to lunch. I want to go to Olive Garden for soup and salad..Or Macaroni Grill..they both are good..Over weekend we have friends coming to vist..got lots to do get ready to see them..I am making some food and giving the house the once over....it needs the twice over but no time..

They just called today..They are in town visting their children.....

Daphne..It was so good to hear from you..I cant get over the Great Buys you get at your Walmart..I would have bought 2 kings size bed linens too..What bargain.. They would never be that low here...I am trying to find Jersey sheet sets for a King Size bed. They are made with the same Material T-shirts are made from and the material is streachy .. I got them at Costco and when they have them they go like hot cakes..So far this year they didnt get any in yet.. I am waiting cause they are very reasonable there..
I hope that you can let us know what other bargins you got at Walmart.

..I hope that the children are out of school so you dont have to worry about getting them to and from school...Thats so hard especially with one car. I cant get over that Blazer. It seems to be jinkes.. I hope that the place that fixed it before will not charge you cause its not fixed when they said it was..I hope it can be fixed once and for all..

Hi everyone..here i am all lonely in here again..

so where is everyone ???did you all get snowed in?? we had snow too and the grkids and their dad have been snowmobiling all morning..my dd had built a sled for our dog to be pulled behind the snowmachine..kinda likea mini sleigh anyways the grkids have been riding in it and having a blast..my house is turned upside down

and great gramma(my mil) is coming for dinner tonite..then tomorrow is Haileys 6th b-day party..a busy but fun weekend..will check in later (((((((hugs))))))) for all rosey
