Hello Everyone..I am sorry that I havent been here.. I found out some really bad news yesterday..My Friend Buddy was given a year or less to live by his Dr's..It still very hard for me to except this.. I cant believe it..It cant be right..I am having a hard time with this right now...so please forgive me for not posting earlier...I know that you all have been so wonderful in keeping him in your prayers and asking about him.. I am very blessed to have such wonderful friends like you all..
I just cant believe that he had to endure all of this chemo and radiation to come to this...I wont give up on him..I cant...

Rosey...I hope that you are warmer..Your house sounds so big and nice..all those windows..If you get to go to Walmart..Have fun...Hope that hubby gets ajusted real soon to home life...Hang in there...Way to go on your Ebay finds for your scrap-book things..Thank you for all your prayers and concern for Buddy..

Donna..I am in shock over Buddy..because of everything I have been told. I was told that he was getting better along time ago and now this..Unreal.

I am so sorry to hear about your neighbor..My Sympathys to the family..It so very hard when someone passes..I am keeping you in my prayers for your elbow.. I hope that it gets better without sugery..I will be going this week about the water exercises...I hope that it helps me..

Daphne..I am sorry that you are going through all of this..It so hard when familys get together with children.. I hope that you can get it all worked out real soon..Hang in there sweetie...Thank you for the prayers and concern for Buddy..I dont know what to do about him..I am still in shock.... I wish you lived near me we could go to the "Y" together..for classes...

Dana...I cant beleive that a day-care is still in business.. I would report them to the authorities. They need to be shut down..I agree with Donna..Thank-goodness you are taking care of your nephew..but the other children are in danger..thats awful what they are going through..People like that DO NOT need to have a day care..I hope that you will report them..
I am so glad that the children are feeling better...I was surprised that you were a Redskin fan..so was Jim..Any reason you were??? Jim was so happy that the Panters won...He said the Redskins will never be the team they were years ago..even with Joe Gibbs return...The players dont care..They get paid no matter if they win or lose..Not the days of old...when players wanted to win they loved the game..It wasnt about money then..
I told Jim we could go to MB and watch the game....I am so glad that Brett is doing so well with his Diabetes.. I am sure his weight loss helps his condtion.. Jim needs to lose..He trys but like me exercise will be the key to help him do that..For some reason the older we get it will not come off like it use to..Thats sooooo flustrating..but we will keep trying. I'm so very sorry for the bad news you received. It is never easy to hear those words and I pray that a miracle will happen and would prove the doctors wrong if it's God's will. That has happened you know. The neighbor that recently died was given two weeks and only lived one week. I don't know how they can determine the time someone has left.

Kris, tell us all about Beth. What did she talk about? Was there a musical guest other than Travis Cottrell and the Praise team? I had to call living proof ministries today to check on my order of the cd's because I had not received an email confirmation and I was getting nervous. LOL Guess who answered the phone? AMANDA, Beth's daughter! LOL I was so nervous just talking to her. LOL How crazy, huh? Anyway, my order is on it's way and should be here at the end of the week!
I can't believe I missed the first American Idol last night. I was thinking it would be on later than 8 and was looking for it at 9 and it had already been on. UGH! Any one see it?
Well, better go. I need to get my 9 year old to do her homework. She brought home a few more F's from last week again.

You can relax about Idol Donna. It comes on tonight and tomorrow but all it is, is the auditions from the 6 cities they were in. Lastnight they only did new york from what I recall. It is more blooper stuff if you ask me. They did invite about 5 to hollywood and the most were turned down for good reason. I think the top 20? are announced on feb 4th so you have a while to catch up on nothing much. Make sense?? Do you make elena start on homework right after school? I used to do that but now it's only optional. I try to wait a couple hours for the brains to rest before starting at it again. It has improved their homework grades as well as their interest to do it without me forcing.

Summer I am so sorry about buddy. It always catches you off guard but like donna said, we have to pray for a miracle if it be in God's will. The last person I know who died from cancer only lived 6 months from diagnosis and that was after going through all the chemo, radiation and numerous brain surgeries that nearly killed her and she ended up dying anyway. It's really not fair that it goes that way but you have to think if the treatment wasn't done at all, how long would you live? I will continue to pray for him and you NEVER have to appologize for not posting. You are such a great lady!

Rosey it's in the 40's here but it's still cold. I think the next chance for snowy stuff here will be sat. night and it's only 30% right now. Most of the time the forecast changes to sun before that day ever gets here. I do pray for one good snow though. I check on ebay every day. I have been looking for video game bargains the last couple days. I tried to get my sister to report that day care about 2 years ago. I don't know the name of it myself. Their are about 5 in the same town but I don't know what it's called. She had talked to several parents last summer and they had a lot of negative comments about that day care as well. My sister doesn't have anyone else to keep my nephew. He only stays there right after school until nearly 4 so it's less than 30 minutes most time. He had to stay a while one day last week due to her staying for a meeting but normally he's not there long unless school is out. Today went very well so I will try to keep him some on those no-school days. Lucky for us all they go back tomorrow.

Daphne I have said it over and over that you are a super mom to kids that aren't even yours. I am not sure i could do what you do for those kids to be honest with you. Jason has to work with you in order for Robert to respect you. I hope you saw some improvement since your last post. How old is robert now? I don't blame you for taking away the night light in that situation. That should have been enough for him to go to bed and turn out lights when asked to.

I have to get groceries tomorrow but have tried to come up with some meal ideas today and my list is still empty. I like to look through coupons and the sales paper for the store I plan on going to but we didn't get one this week for some reason. It helps me save money and come up with some food ideas. I am getting my hair cut again on thurs. but not sure how this time. I never fixed it right the last time it was cut so that was a wasted style. The top is too long for me and the back is cut so strange that it feels so thin. You're suppose to hang upside down basically and blow it dry to get some body in it and then brush it up and flip it up. I didn't mind that but it made the hair over my ears do the same and my face isn't shaped right.

Well I am going to post this and see what we can eat for supper. Dh is working today and tomorrow and i know he will be hungry when he gets in.

Beth talked about fear. How to face it and come to grips with it and then overcome the fear. The big question was...What would you do if you were not afraid? She talked about being victorious and overcoming the fear to get what God has promised. Romans chapter 8 was what she used primarily.

It was fabuluos. I really enjoyed it. I would love to get to talk with her for an hour. She is amazing. BTW Amanda is going overseas with her husband for 5 months.

Hello Everyone....Its really cold here again today..The sun is out but it is still real cold..They are saying we will get some snow maybe by the weekend.. I hope not..I go tomorrow about the water classes..I hope it all works out..
I spoke to Buddys ex-wife last night..She said he was a bit better and that if he keeps improving they will let him go home soon..She did not know if they will try more chemo or anything... Thats being decided later this week..She is numb from all of this and I can understand completly..All I can do is pray and be there for them.. I have so much to do today..So I better get off here and do it..

Donna.. You are so sweet...Bless you heart..Thank-you for all your kindness.. I know that miracles happen and I pray it does. It is always so hard to handle these kinds of things....but I am trying.You have helped me by being here for me and helping me go through this..I appreciate that more than I can say...This is never easy for anyone..

I apprecaite you being here for me and helping me go through this..it makes going through these kind of things a little easier to bear..Its so awful to hear about others that go through cancer and all the awful treatments they endure only to die in the end..its such ashame to me...it has always made me wonder why..I hope that you got some good ideas about Dinner.. I seem to fix the same old thing all the time..If I get a new dish to make..its usually fatting....We love pasta and I have been trying not to fix it..We have eaten alot of Chicken lately..but no matter what you get at the store its expensive anyway you go..You are smart in looking for coupons for sales..thats the way to go..if you get a chance look at this web site for recipes...www.recipezaar.com type in chicken or beef or what-ever and it will pop up with alot of different recipes..Great site for recipes...Have a good day

Hi kris. Your guys look so mean.

I lost 2 pounds this week but then everytime I make a loss, something causes a gain. For instance, my car is acting kinda funny and I'm baffled as to what this noise is. It may cause me to eat as I worry.

I have been meaning to share something with you all. It's a story that's really touched me because I"ve been where this mother is in a sense. My twins who will be 9 in march were born 15 weeks early and weighed less than 2 pounds each. A friend of my sister's (tracy) has a sister ashley who has been living in alaska due to her DH being in the army but they went to school here in our town. Ashley and her DH adam had a baby on jan. 9th who was 16 weeks early and only weighed 1 lb 3 oz. The baby seemed to be thriving according to the progress she was making but sadly passed after 9 days. She died sunday. They had a website to chart her progress which included pictures. I wanted you all to look if you get a chance and if you're sensitive to a tiny baby, it's not a pretty sight. But at the same time looked very much like my 2 did. They are flying the baby's body to our funeral home on friday and adam has received an honorable discharge and they are packing and coming home for good from alaska. The site is www.thestatus.com and you click on "visit a patient" or something to that affect and the user name or baby's last name is Shick which should be the user name I believe and the pass word is Hannah04 This family doesn't know me but only through a friend through a friend so I didn't sign the guestbook. My sister just told me of the website yesterday and only about the baby over the weekend. She didn't know she had died until lastnight.

At any rate, I have to file our taxes on the web now and sometimes that takes forever which is not the amount of time I have right now.

(((Summer))) I know how hard it is to watch some one you love and care about decine. All I can tell you is to spend as much time as you can with Buddy. Make memories together that will comfort you as you deal with this. It is the hardest thing in the world to go through. All I can tell you is something Beth said over the weekend...(I'm paraphrasing) Keep your eyes on God. Our Father is there for us and wants us to trust him with our hurt and pain. Know that it is never easy-unfortuanately, God has promised that we will have tribulations and trials, but God will be there for you to talk to and to comfort you. We will too. You just have to ask Him for help and believe His strength and power will help you to get through. He loves you so much and doesn't want to see you hurting. I know you will get through this. You are so strong. Look how wonderfully you made it through Jim's treatments. I will keep praying for you and Buddy...Remember that you are loved.

you all are doing good... makes me all teary eyed reading all the kind words you give to one another and encouragement. this is what it's all about.
when I came home from my ladies bible study this morning there was a recording on my machine from my Dad who was "checking in on me" and wanted me to call him. Right, I knew he never 'checks in' there was something up. He and my stepmother have seperated as of last night. She's already moved her things out of his house. I am very sad.
