Renee: Good luck on the walking - yes, some hand warmers are a good idea.
Corinna: I love my tv too, but as long as we fit in a bit of exercise, we should be able to relax too.

Breakfast and lunch: 5 Atkins bars, 2 oz cream in coffee
Supper: Pepper steak and a small salad

Exercise: Yoga this morning.

Positive: I took my cat to the vet for her annual vaccination and she was so good. She gained a pound in the last year (wish I could say the same ha ha)
Negative: Still stalled on weight loss, but sticking to yoga and eating plan.

Supper: Pea Soup
Exercise: 27 minutes elliptical, 30 minutes stretching

Positive: I made a new salad recipe yesterday and surprisingly it was delicious. My husband even enjoyed it.
Negative: I felt bloated yesterday. I don't know why. Maybe from all the water I was drinking.

Renee-Congratulations!! You did fantastic this week!! You are on your way to Victory.
Follena-You did good this week with your Yoga. Perhaps you did lose some weight and at the same time you toned up some muscles too, so it all balanced out. Keep at it! You are in transformation and the results will be reflected soon.

It's Sunday. Peace be with you. Have a great start to the week.

Renee-What will power!!! Making and not even eating the brownies. You are very strong. I hope your hamburger was more than a patty (i.e. lettuce, tomato, etc) after staying away from those brownies.

Follena-you were a busy yesterday. Sounds like it was an enjoyable day.

Healthhelp-welcome!! Nice to see you on this thread. You had some good meal choices for the day.

Wishing you all a wonderful Monday!

Breakfast: Nutrition Drink
Dinner: Scandinavian Salad (Mixed salad, beet, potato, dill, garlic, lentils, radish, guacamole, lemon, coconut milk)
Supper: Rice crackers, celery, hummus
Snack: Pretzels
Exercise: 1 hour walk, yard work

Positive: Finally found some new main meal recipes to try. Made 3 of them this last weekend and they all turned out good. Yippee! I am glad I didn't waste my time.

Negative: I ate the pretzels more out of habit then need. I was able to only eat a few, but should have avoided them all together.

Renee-15 degrees! That is cold!! I guess your body will be burning up some calories to stay warm. Did you get any of that heavy snowfall.
Follena-Hope you are staying warm in your part of the world.

January is flying right by. Wishing you both a nice warm day!

Corinna: that’s great you’re liking your new recipes. That Scandinavian salad sounds good!
Renee:it’s not too cold where I am. We’re having a nice winter. In 4 weeks I’m leaving for Costa Rica .. looking forward to that.

Meals: today 80 grams of peanuts and chicken wings. Weird eating - on the road for work.
Exercise: nothing for last 2 days
Positive: I stayed OP both days I was on the road. Had a lovely supper with each son, one on Sunday and the other on Monday.
Negative: really struggling with hating my work after my bestie retired. Won’t go into details of the dysfunction of my office. Just one day at a time for now. Committed to what is under my control .. eating OP.
Once a week weigh-in @Saturday. I think I was 177 last Saturday.

Breakfast: Banana
Dinner: Nutrition Drink
Supper: Mixed salad
Exercise: 27 minutes elliptical, stretching exercises

Positive: My work is having an 8 week weight-loss challenge starting end of January. Teams of 4 compete against others for the greatest weight loss. I have found one other lady for my group, and now just need to find 2 more people. Even more support.

Negative: I accidentally got some salad yesterday with some chicken in it. Luckily it was only a small amount about two tablespoons worth, so it didn't impact the rest of my meal too much getting rid of it.

Renee-you are really doing good this time around with your portions. I see that determination.

Follena-what is OP? Sorry to hear that you are unhappy at work. It is hard when situations change. Try to do something positive for the office no matter how small the next day you go back. Or just saying something positive to a person there you really don't like. Then try it again the next day, and onward. You might be surprised what happens. Costa Rica!!!

Happy Wednesday!

Corinna: I love workplace weight loss challenges - they're so helpful. OP means On Plan. Super important to low-carbers so we can stay in a state of ketosis where our bodies burn fat (instead of carbs) for energy.
Renee: Your food looks excellent as usual. Are you two ladies doing Saturday weigh-ins on this thread?

Meals: 2 fried eggs and 5 slices bacon, cream in my coffee, chili with steak, and supper is just 80 grams of cashews.

Exercise: Day 5 of 30 Days of Yoga with Adriene.

Positive: I stopped taking Champix last Sunday. Last night I had the best sleep I've had in two months. Can not underestimate how much we need a good sleep. This morning I had a bowel movement that must have lost me a couple pounds! Feeling so light

Negative: Ongoing inner struggle but counting my blessings.

Once a week weigh-in: Saturday January 12th I weighed 177 pounds

Snack: grapes
Dinner: sliced fruit, noodles, stringbeans

Exercise: 2 hrs. barn work, walk around a field

Positive: went to the mall and had a mini shopping spree
Negative: looks like we're going to get hammered with 2 storms. I don't mind the snow, but I could do without the ice.

Follena: we weigh-in on Saturday

Breakfast: Banana
Dinner: Nutrition Drink
Supper: Vegetable Stroganoff
Snack: Multigrain crackers
Exercise: 27 minutes elliptical, stretching exercises

Positive: Avoided homemade cookies at work. It was very easy to say no, even though they looked delicious. I wanted the weight loss more than the cookies. Also avoided eating a heavy meal after I got home from work last night.
Negative: Unhappy about how this body is sagging with age.

Renee-did you buy anything special in your shopping spree? Two storms! Guess you are stocking up to prepare. Hope they bypass you.

Follena-For this thread we weigh-in on Saturdays. We have been posting our status in our profile or weight loss ticker. I see you have yours at the end of your post. That works fine too.

Wishing you both a feel good Thursday!
