Real quick from work,
I have been running ramped at work...No rest for the weary...lol. Tonight is Boyscotts and Young women's for Darcie at church. So I am dropping them off and then rushing over to wal-mart to get them a little Valentine something. Like I am not busy enough. This weekend we are heading to the snow...I am debating on wheither to call into work sick because I get 15 days a year now. I am just really tired...I was up till 12:30 last night downloading last year's Disneyland pictures and putting them in a photo album page from printshop. It is two-sided and I need to get thicker paper before I can print it out.
I have to get out of here and head out.
Take care everyone

Hellooooooooo ladies!

I'm finished with this month's newsletter; it is printed, colated, stapled, and delivered! So far the response is good. I have been notified of a couple of the mistakes...oh, yes...believe it or not.... The most blaring mistake is the Title and Date! This is how it looks:

SMITH CENTER NEWS
February 2003

Now that is a mistake! Oh, well, I'm just denying the passage of time! I was also informed that I spelled two people's names wrong. And that's just what I've heard so far! Better luck next time.

Deb, if I had your life, I'd just collapse! Although, my exercise class is strengthening me. Just don't die and will me your life... So, did you end up taking the day off? You deserve it. Do you still have those snow clothes you bought last year...at least we know you won't wear them out anytime soon! I am so tired of this winter weather. 'They' keep telling me spring is coming, but I'm not sure 'they' are telling the truth!

Daphne...thanks for trying to answer the question! hehe How is Robert? What kind of s--- is he pulling now? How is Megan? Jason? And are you still playing around in those chat rooms? tsk, tsk!

Ann, Dana, Mavis...post soon.

Wonder what's up with Dana....

We had exercises today. She's stepping up our workout a little. I actually worked up a sweat today. (Good thing) It sure does give me energy, though. I can't believe it!

There is nothing going on other than these things here in the building! I need to get OUT!!!! It's a little warmer today so maybe I'll get out and go over to Debby's. Last Friday nite, she and Kim came over here and we had a ball...as we always do when we get together! Maybe I'll see if Kim wants to go over to Debby's tomorrow (Fri) night and watch a movie. Deb and Tom have a big screen TV. Kim hasn't seen Nemo yet and I have Chicago and haven't seen it yet.

Did I remember to tell you that I got a new tv? I got a 27" stereo tv for $150 at Wal-mart. Now, to get it installed where the other one is! That's the problem. I have to unhook everything, get the old one out and the new one hooked back up...so that it works, that is. That's another matter....

Well, I'm going to go and get some rest.

Love,

Hi guys. Didn't realize there was a cause to "wonder where I was". I thought I had posted recently but maybe not. Nothing really is going on here either. I'm going to have to leave in about 10 minutes or less to head in line to pick up kids. Kevin is working his 12 hours today and tomorrow. We had a pretty big threat of snow early morning but turned out to be a lot more rain we really didn't need. I would love some snow gayle!

I'm watching the 125's right now on TNT. That's just more or less qualifying for the big Daytona 500 on sunday. (just some racing talk there). I love nascar as you may recall and I"m so thrilled to see it started back. My main man Dale Jr. just won the first mini race so he will start 3rd on sunday and the next 50 lap race will start about the time I head to the school.

I lost 2 pounds this week and I try to keep my "signature" updated so if I fail to mention my gains and losses, you can see them. I got my Pilates stuff in the mail yesterday and did the 20 minute workout for the first time this morning. My legs feel like jelly (can't walk well) and my abs are slightly sore from day one. You're suppose to start out doing it 3 times a week. I hope I can say that I at least did it that much. It will be easier to achieve when I'm home alone too. The kids next days out of school are coming up on monday and tuesday of next week. I did all my measurements in case I don't see results on scales. Just pray I can stick with this. It's not THAT hard but it takes a lot of determination and will power to keep at it.

I had my meeting with logan's teacher on tuesday if I mentioned it in an earlier post. She's concerned about his math slipping and they got their progress reports for midway through the 3rd quarter this week and I see the problem. He's slipped a little ever since the beginning of the year. It's trouble with multiplication causing it. I've signed him up for additional computer lab work on monday and wednesdays after school when brett is staying for reading lab. The problem is logan is finished 30 minutes sooner than brett so whether laken likes it or not, we will end up sitting in the car on days that kevin works.

Well I know I haven't commented on anyone yet but I need to stop here and head up the road. I hope you all are doing well though and I will try to get back on here before the day is over or at least tomorrow when I'm alone again.

OK I'm back for a few minutes. I"m watching survivor and typing at the same time. I think Richard is fixing to be shark bit. He DID get bit but he was being really stupid if you ask me. He actually bit the shark back.

Daphne I enjoyed our conversation. Just as we were ending the conversation about cell phones, your voice started going in and out and the last thing I heard was "bye". I apologize if I missed anything or didn't comment back on those last few words but I was trying to hear what you had said or were saying.

Gayle I thought that was funny about your newsletter but what was even funnier is I didn't even see what was wrong with it for the longest. If you hadn't made that comment I would have never noticed the wrong year on it. I'm so proud of you and the exercising. I will let it inspire me to keep mine up. Have you weighed? You know you have lost something. Were you able to get outside today? Did you get the TV put out today? I didn't realize it was such a huge thing to change tv's.

Ann I hope things are ok with you. Post when you can. I miss hearing about you.

Mavis? Are you still with us??

Deb did you get any rest yet? Did you end up staying out of work? Did you get your disney land pictures all printed out yet? Did you ever post pictures of that? Forgive me if you did and I'm having a 30 year old senior moment. I don't recall seeing any pictures of goofy or pluto though. What did you get the kids for valentines? I wasn't doing anything and then brett has asked if I was going to get them some candy. I asked him can he say the word "diabetes"? Then I don't want him to feel like he's being punished for valentine's day so I did go get them something. I found the Russel Stover Low Carb box of candy but he will still have to eat it a little at a time.

Well I'm getting chilly sitting here. I need to get my bath as soon as survivor goes off as well. Mama wants me to "loafer" around town with her in the morning and I really need to do things around here before the kids are home for a 4 day weekend but I couldn't tell her no. Hope you all have a fantastic night.

Hey, Dana. Maybe you did post recently...you know, if you're having senior moments at 30, just imagine what it's like at almost 56! The reason that it's so hard to change out my tvs is because I have the VCR and DVD player sitting on top of the old tv in the entertainment center with CD's and DVD's stacked around the tv in that slot. All that has to be moved and another place found for the VCR and DVD player because the new tv takes up all the space in the slot for the tv. Make any sense? If not, sorry...that's the best I can do!

Thanks for the praise, Dana. Keep up the work on the pilates. It will work. Kathy (our exercise leader) is working in some modified pilates moves to our workouts.

I don't know about losing anything 'cause I'm not doing very well on the eating. But, I'm still plugging along and it'll kick in one of these days!

I'm going to the chiropracter today. I have to go and take my shower to get ready. Have a good day everybody. Post when you can.

Love,

Aww Gayle I am so sorry for not posting here sooner. I have had Jason home since Friday and we have been busy all weekend. I am so thankful that the kids go to school today and that Jason is on his way to work today as we speak. I have to laugh at the year being wrong being as I had to look at it a few times before I noticed it! I am so proud of you and that new letter. What a great way to exercise your mind! Congrats on kicking it in the but with the work out class. I am so proud of you lady!
Dana how is it going today? I see that yiu have the kids home again today. I hate 4 day weekends. The 3 day weekends let alone regular weekends kill me! Did Brett like the candy? What did the Logan and Laken get? I bought Megan some new clothing at Walmart on clearance. Robert got a pocket knife thing from Jason. I also bought Lion King 1 1/2 for us all.

Daphne I find it funny you posted cause I just posted on the other thread and "told you to stop in here" Yes my kids are home again today. I even have my nephew to keep him from having to go to daycare. They are outside in the 30 degree weather and I would rather them not be. I told logan if he got sick, he was going to school anyway. All of my kids had a little valentine candy. It's not that big of holiday for us. Maybe it was when I was a teenager cause us girls would sneak in behind the cafeteria to see if there were any roses with our names on them. I did get them my junior year. (wasn't from kevin though) although he has gotten them for me before. He knows my feelings on flowers. They just don't last. I bought me a Bill Blass shirt at Belks to wear with a skirt and pants to church so that's fine with me.

Gayle sorry you've been posting alone. I have been reading on here last few days but didn't post anything. Are you still exercising? How often do you strive to do that? I have had my pilates since thursday and have done 3 out of 5 days so far. They say 3 times a week for start but I plan on doing it today and probably tomorrow as well so I feel good about that. I have that "ab" burn and hopefully that will wear off. I did take the weekend off from it. Did you get anything for valentines or get Ivan anything?

Ann were you in on any of that snow that tennessee? I wish we could have some. The storm that's riding our coast had a 23% chance of giving us some snow but it doesn't look hopeful. Our weather the next 5 days is suppose to be dry and in the high 50's, low 60's with a chance of rain on saturday. I'm looking foward to spring so we can go camping again but I really want that 1 big SNOW!!

Deb did you see some snow over the weekend? Tell us about your trip. How was valentines for you? Any secret men we don't know about??

Tomorrow is the day I weigh and I hope to see at least a steady from last weeks loss. I hate having to find what I lose week upon week upon week. Well you get the point. Are any of you planning on seeing Mel Gibson's The Passion of the Christ? I hope to see it. My church sent out a direct mailing of 18,000 last week and already my MIL called us about it. I don't know what the world is scared of but from what I"ve seen, it's all based on the bible and like Mel said, either you believe or you dont.

I haven't gotten my stamping kit yet but will let you know when I do daphne. I'm really excited about it. The girl who signed me up lives in texas and she emailed me friday to tell me that I am official and the kit was on his way. She asked me would I be doing any parties or more into my discounts? I told her that I may try both but the interest sparked from my own curiosity. Daphne you had asked the difference in stamps and basically there's no huge difference but only in the price. The real difference is the designs are copy written so different companies have different ones you can't find anywhere else. CTMH is into dolls and bears that I definately know of cause I've gotten 3 stamps already from ebay and Rosey had sent me some cards in the past with some of their stamps.

Well I need to get something done. It's already 10 and thank goodness so far the boys are quite. They have played gameboys and I think they are watching a movie. I keep peaking in on them but of course they haven't seen me. I have 5 1/2 hours left with my nephew. That's more like the countdown cause my kids show out more when we have company. I'm really concerned with my nephew. He's the same age as brett basically. He will be 11 on st. patricks day. He hasn't hardly eaten a thing in a week. He ate a chicken biscuit this morning but it's the Rudy's brand like the Jimmy dean biscuits that are not much bigger than half dollars. I as scared he may have a sugar problem but we checked this morning and he's 90 so that's good. Hope someone else posts today!

OK I just didn't want to lose my post. Jason comes to bed last night and says "We have to talk about stuff." I say OK what did I do wrong this time? He said nothing just we had to talk. It seems that Robert was telling his Dad and a neighbor all day yesterday how mean I am to him and Megan. That I hate him, that I don't do anything for him, I yell all the time, that he feels upset all the time around me, that I just buy stuff for Megan and never him, that I take Megan to McDOnalds and that I know he hates it, that I wont go to Taco Bell for him, that I strangle Megan all the time and pull her hair, etc..... It went on and on. I have been awake since around 4:30AM and went to sleep after midnight. I am so upset, angry, sad, you name it. We are going to have a talk tonight when Jason gets home from Seattle.
If I do not do anything for that child explain why I have to go to a damn scout meeting each week for 90 minutes with Megan and sit there doing not a damn thing, and have to make sure that Megan is awake and that all of us have had dinner by 5:30? Why am I the first one to defend Robert to the school or other parents when I get calls? Why am I the one that is always saying "Robert you are so smart, or a great kid, or such a big help, what ever the time may call for and that I want everyone to know that?
I did tell Jason that honestly with his lying to me all the time and his defiance and his smart mouth to me that lately I do not like him much. That I am sick of asking him to do something and being told no. I said I was sick of him doing a half *** job and me having to redo it. Jason was then saying that he was just letting me know what Robert was saying. OK I get it. I was just wanting to explain my side of it. I am just so whatever right now I want to scream! You all know the **** that kid has pulled. SO I finally said to Jason. Fine Robert says that I am to mean and strict with him? I will no longer discipline him, that is to be Jasons job. I don't care if Jason has to come home Friday night at midnight he will take care of all of Roberts misdeeds. I will not be defending Robert from school, kids, or parents any more. That is to be Jasons job now. I will kindly take a message and pass it on to Jason. I also said to Jason that he does not get to go to the Barn Sale every Friday night and then to late night Bingo on Saturday nights. That he will be getting up on time and taking care of the kids. That he will not be spending all his free time with Ron and that Robert will not get to run all over the neighborhood on weekends that he will be with his Father doing stuff. I asked Jason did Robert tell you how I was comlpimenting him when we did the house the other day? Saying Wow Robert great job!!!!That I had made it into a game with us? That Robert was having a blast with me? No that brat just had negative **** to say about me.
He had the gall to complain that he has to many chores. That he does homeowrk and chores from the time he gets home until 8PM when he goes to bed and that he doesn't always get them done and that I yell when he doesn't have them done. He does cat litter each day after school, and he feeds the cat, before be he is supposed to sweep the kitchen. He has to clean his bathroom 2 times a week. He uses it I don't! I use the shower and do my hair in there. I am not the one going to the bathroom in there, or brushing my teeth in there. I do not get pee all over the toilet or toothpaste all over the sink, counters and mirror. He has to do his homework and keep his room clean. So as of today I will do the cat and the sweeping. He can stay up as late as he wants, and I don't give a **** what his room looks like. However he will be the one that is dealing with lack of sleep and all that goes along with that. I love not having to be the meanie now. I get to have fun! Does this mean thast Tuesday nights I no longer have to do scouts? That Robert will need to find his own way there and back when Jason is gone?
OK sorry for such a long Rant but I really am so upset. Oh my neighbor said to me yesterday* I have no idea how you put up with Robert and his non stop talking.. and how he argues with any and everything that is said* Hahaha she even noticed that!

WAAAAAAAAA.....LOST A HUGE POST!!!Well...I'll just start again!

Daph, I'm sorry you're having to deal with that devil child! He sounds so hateful. Maybe Jason will get the picture one of these days. Sounds like at least your neighbor has his number! I don't blame you at all for washing your hands of him. Wonder how Jason will like cleaning R's room! How has your weather been? Ours is getting better. Feb is here and March is not far away. The highs are getting better and lows are higher! Been shopping lately? Finding bargains?

Dana, did you enjoy the first big race?? Was that your guy who won? We don't go in much for Valentine's day here, either. Ivan doesn't care as long as I twirl that feather thing in circles over his head about two thousand times! Hope the kids stay relatively quiet for you today.

Deb, how was the snow? Bet you had fun. Did you give BJ and Lenny some alone time like you did last year? How's work?

Ann, Mavis...post soon, will you????

Our exercises are cancelled for this week. There are auditors here this week so Kathy (the new director) is busy with them. I am going to try the Greer Childers' Body Flex tape today. That workout really produces results quick. Now, for the food.... Not all that great! (Well, the food is good, just not the amount I'm stuffing into myself!!)

Kim, Debby, and I are going to have another Friday fun night this week. Monday was Kim's B-day, so we're going to celebrate. One of Kim's faves is watching movies, so I think we'll go to Deb's to watch Nemo and maybe Chicago on the big screen. Of course, food will be involved!

I'm a great-aunt for the second time as of last Thursday the 12th. Jen had another daughter, Bailey. She was 7lb 4oz and 20" long. She and mom are doing great. My brother sent me pictures and she is a doll. She looks just like he did when he was a baby. Hopefully, Mom and I will be able to get to TX for Joel's (nephew) grad in June then we can see both of the girls. We haven't seen her soon-to-be three year old, either.

Well, I'm going to get out of 3fc and finish email so I can get to the exercise. I'll let you know if I was successful!

Have a great day everyone.

Love,

WOw noone is posting her now? I just talked to Deb a bit ago. She has been real busy and had a blast in Reno with the snow. Deb thank you for calling I love getting phone calls!
Things have calmed down here a bit. We had the talk last night and Robert was actring like nothing was a big deal. I did let him know that he isn't doing chores then well life will kinda suck....... No chores means no allowance..... no chores means tht he doesn't earn the priviledge of having dinner bought for him at the Scout dinner next week....... no chores means that I ahve to do nothing for him like bring him to the scout meetings each week or watch Megan whilst he and Jason go to the meeting. I will tell ya more about it later.

Really quick from work...
Hello All...I have really missed you all. Did You all get my pics of Snowtrip...90 pics . It was great, but now I need a vacation from the vacation
I have been swamped at work...and no I didn't get to take last Friday off, I asked for a half aday and my boss gave me 2 hours. It has been really crazy all week.

Daphne...it was good to talk to you...I am sorry to hear all the bad stuff that has been happening between you and Robert. I think you did the right thing by making Jason more responsible for his own children and their needs. Heck if you weren't there he would have to figure out all their schedules and it is not fair for him to dump it all on you and then confront you because his kids aren't "happy".

Gayle...way to go on exercising...and congrats on the new TV.

Dana...How was it with the extra child and the kids being home from school on Tuesday? As for "the passion of Christ" I was thinking about going to see it when it comes out, but I know working here at the Jewish community center, they are not to happy with it, because it depicts the Jewish people in a bad light. However, what I think everyone needs to realize that Christ was himself, a Jew. He was one of their own and that his job was to come to Earth and Die for our Sins. And though he died a terrible death, that was his job, and those Rabbis who condemned him to death were actually helping him fullfil his destiny. Don't get me wrong, I think it was appalling what happen to Christ, but in the bigger scheme of life, it had to be that way to get humanity's attention.

WoW, where did that come from...I need to get down off my

Mavis and Ann...Hello and I hope you will post soon!
Got to go...lots of work!
This weekend is looking pretty busy too.
I will try to post though,
DRINK WATER,

LOL Deb and TY for the lesson. I had told Robert that Jesus was born a Jew and he mentioned that at Church one day.His teacher in Sunday School said no he wasn't that he was a Christian all his life. Well I guess I will ask him when I see him. It is a lesson that I learned when I was a kid.

I'm glad you brought that up deb cause he certainly was a jew. That is actually one thing that separates churches today. It's like Mel Gibson said the other day, you either believe the whole bible or none of it. You can't just choose chapters that you believe to be true. Daphne you have to attend a church with your same beliefs or at least that's what I was raised to do. My grandfather helped start 2 churches and has pastored 3 that I know of. He's retired now but does attend the same one I go to and of course it was only like 4 weeks ago that our preacher referenced in the bible many times of christ being a jew.

Deb I couldn't open your pictures this time. I can see the one on top of filly. I don't know why but in the slideshow they are those little boxes that is suppose to show the pictures but nothing is there. I'm sure it's my computer. I've had the most pop-ups the last couple of days and my internet call-waiting keeps hanging up too.

Daphne tell me more about the yahoo games. How do you do them? Is it the ones that you have to actually have the CD game installed and play it online with someone else who has it also. I have the scrabble CD. Let me know cause sometime when I'm alone, I would like to play some games online with you. That would be fun to play them with someone you actually know.

I will get all my new stamps on monday sometime by UPS and I get my kit from Close To My Heart too. I'm excited to get them. I have been selling cards for over a $1.00 a piece at times on ebay. Well I need to get some breakfast going for us all. It's after 9:30 here already.

Gayle, Ann come see us this weekend!
