Morning Girls ....all is going well for me, our friend up from FL was here last night and we went to BD's Mongolian Grill for dinner, it was very good, but I think a little high in sodium because I was up a little this morning...we had our weekly work weigh in this morning and I am still in the lead so far, so fingers crossed I win cause there is 100.00 on the line :)

Dee - I haven't watched Survivor yet so you should have said "spoiler alert" haha, I didnt know Colten was gone ....I usually dont catch up on my shows until the weekend....I agree with you he is very unkind for someone who is in his shoes, maybe he will learn from this. ALso I get my P&G coupons from the Sunday paper, normally there is a packet in there.

Mandy - I think a personal trainer would be a great job, get to call your own hours and get to help people lose weight and reach goals. Texas in July ? Isn't that VERY hot ? Ick ...good luck :D

Susie - 3 Reese Eggs and a coke ? Talk about your sugar high ? haha OH well like you said detox today ...I rarely eat sweet stuff but when I read Reese egg I was salivating, haha

Hi to everyone else...I am so glad it is Friday...cooler here today and rainy...gonna be like Dee said above for us too ...cooler this weekend and rainy ...oh well, I'll take it ...

Have a great day, and I will check in over the weekend with my official weigh in results...later

Carri

Satine 03-24-2012 10:41 AM

So my weigh in this morning was good. Down another two pounds. I lose that every week. No more , no less. But hey I will take it. Have a great weekend all.

miniDoodles 03-24-2012 03:50 PM

Carri :cp: 2 more pds gone :cloud9: Hey, how tall are you? I feel like a 'shorty' here, I've been 5'4" since a teenager in the 1970's when you were a child.
I don't know why the guys height shrinks, as long as that's all that ever shrinks :lol3: My dh is 49 yr & was 5' 10" when we got married 16 yr ago & now is 5' 9".

Carri, Keep up the fab 2 pds off weekly :goodscale Are you doing anything special--work-out or certain foods :m:

:egg::bunny2: :easter: Have a fun weekend everyone, Dee

Satine 03-24-2012 04:36 PM

Dee - I am just under 5'4. So we are about the same height. I am just counting calories ( keep below 1450 ) and no I haven't been working out but I need to for toning.

MyChoice2bfit 03-25-2012 11:01 AM

Hi Ladies. My detox is going well. The sugar cravings are gone again. I swear its like going through withdrawl!

I also did my 2nd 5K walk yesterday and I imporved my time from the one last November. My time for this one was 58.50.9 for my chip time, 59.10.2 for the gun time (we were back in the pack a little so the gun time is the time the race started--I looked at my watch when we walked over the starting line and it was about 9:02) So my pace was 19.01/m) My friend that walked with me ran the last 20 yards to the finish line and finshed 6 seconds ahead of me. So, I feel I was walking pretty fast if I was only 6 seconds behind her.

I really love doing the 5k's; they make me feel like a athlete. I didn't train for this one like I should have but will train for the next one. We are looking for one in May/June.

Carri: :carrot: another 2 lb down for you! Keep up whatever you are doing. It is working well for you.

Dee: for P&G Coupons they do come out in the Sunday papers, usually the last week of the month; it is in their Brand Savers. Also, there is a website or facebook page for just about every P&G product so you can look them up there and sign up for electronic coupons and such.

Mandy, Dreamer, Arabella, Liz, Auntie G and Mel: Hi!

Enygirl 03-25-2012 08:21 PM

Hi ladies! I'm back... I was very active in the boards 3 years ago, and had great support and good success. However, pregnancy, personal issues, and life got in the way and I'm back to almost where I started the last time around!

I'm looking for girls that will support me, and challenge me to hit my goals. I need accountability, but not a mother. I'm happy to jump right in - and get this weight off! I weighed myself for the first time in almost a year last Monday, and will weigh in on Mondays.

I HAVE to do this!!!

Satine 03-26-2012 10:31 AM

Morning Girls…had a GREAT weekend, spent a lot of it outside with friends, grilled food, etc ….stayed mostly OP except for last night I went over my calories by about 600 or so, but I need that once in a while…and shouldn’t make much of a difference ….I have been having issues with some side muscle being pulled on my left side…this always happen when I start to lose a bunch of weight, doc says the stomach hang ( i.e. muffin top haha ) starts to pull in different ways and the muscles have to act and work differently …in my case the stomach starts to slide down first, and that always causes some discomfort …plus I sleep on my side a lot and that pulls it too ….oh well, something I have to deal with for a while.

Did you all have a good weekend? I see Susie did the 5k, which is awesome !!!!!

Dee – and glad to know that we are both shorties….haha …I have been about the same height since early high school …graduated in 1992 …shame my 20th yr reunion is coming up …where does the time go ?

Hope you all have a great Monday !!!!! If that is possible, haha …

Carri

MyChoice2bfit 03-26-2012 02:03 PM

Hi Gals, It's a bit cooler here today but still hoping to be able to take a gentle walk around the neighborhood tonight when I get home. My knee is still giving me some issues. It feels a little better but I'm still babying it.

Carri: I'm back to losing my Lose It app--you inspired me again to lose it as you have been doing very well with the weight loss lately.

Welcome back to Enygirl! This is a great bunch of ladies and I think you will find what you are looking for here.

Hope everyone else is doing well and if you are not, that's ok too...come on and post and we will help get you back on track or celebrate your victories.

Enygirl 03-26-2012 02:17 PM

Thanks for the welcome ladies! I weighed in today - with no movement on the scale. Like I said, i'm just now getting back into this - so it'll get better. Staying OP and planning out meals (especially dinner) will help! Right now the next 2 weeks are planned out. :)

miniDoodles 03-26-2012 04:04 PM

Hey Susie, Great job doing the 5K walk, most of my friends have a bad knee or problem, I think I'll try to get a challenge going w them beginning w 2 miles, to work up to a 5K walk :running: When your chef is gone, have you thought about trying the Nutri-System meals, etc. like Marie Osmond, Valerie Bertinelli r doing?

Liz, Melanie, Arabella, Mandy & Cassie :easter2: U r missed, Dee

Satine 03-26-2012 04:12 PM

Susie - LOVE to hear that I have inspired you !!!

Satine 03-27-2012 10:02 AM

Morning everybody…hope you all had a good Monday yesterday …gonna be a beautiful day here today…around 68-70 and sunny …dh and I are gonna do some yard work when we get home tonight before dinner…he is gonna mow, and the yard is pretty long so I will have to rake the grass up and maybe bag it …gonna be some exercise for sure…I don’t mind working outside when it is cooler out …once the humid Summer sets in though I will be only inside.

Anybody watch The Voice last night? Sometimes those judges just aren’t thinking like me …I have seen them get rid of a couple of my favorites lately ….I will be sad when the show is over, I love to watch that ….and Biggest Loser…although this season has not been a good one….but it normally comes back on again in September …I love September for a few reasons…a couple being that one that is my birthday month, and two all the shows start their new seasons, and three it starts getting cooler and heading towards Fall !!

Still plugging a long on the diet front…snuck and weighed myself this morning and so far a 0.4 loss …so I know by the end of the week for weigh in it will be better …at this two pound loss a week though it will take me until Jan or Feb of next year to reach goal, and that just seems like forever…but I guess what else will I be doing? I just hope I can have the discipline to actually do it this time. Lord give me strength !!!!

Well you all have a good day …stay OP !!!!

Carri

SMSDREAMER2007 03-27-2012 01:11 PM

Susie- Yep It's cassie ;) Also, one slip up once in a while is ok. Chocolate eggs are yummy but not at the expense of your overall well being! Feel better soon! And congrats on speeding up your 5K walk!

Dee- Send me some of that sun and heat will ya? We are still having snow IN MARCH! Oh and you better watch it, I might recruit you to make me some clothes :p

Carri- You can have my winter, I'll ship it on over ;) and WTF on your 2 lb loss! A stead y 2 lb loss is GREAT.

Mandy- Wow looks like you are LOVING you new HRM..glad you like it. and sorry bout moving to texas in july...that's gonna be a killer...but look at it this way....you will probably have an easier time losing weight because of the heat.

Enygrl- :Welcome:

Omg. I have been SOOOOO busy. Finals last week, looking for an apartment with my BF, helping a friend of mine clean her house, and 3 binges (One day I even got up to 4000 calories ugh I want to puke just thinking about it.) I still managed to lose 2.8 lbs and get into the 230's last week though WOOHOO!!! 239 this morning! But my boyfriend is still catching up to be Grrrr LOL. This week we are meeting his cousin (He's never met her) turning in an app for an apartment and taking his dog to the vet (is having a slight limp poor puppy :\ hope its jsut a growing pain, he isn't full size yet). Classes start again on monday so this is my spring break. and have a LOT of stuff to buy for the apartment. O.0 Anyway hope you all are doing well!! I will be back to check in later today!

konfyoozed 03-27-2012 02:11 PM

hey ladies.

sorry i haven't been posting, i've just been in a funk. i'm worried about the move to texas. i hate driving, to the point i'm almost phobic about it and i will stress so hard in the first part of the drive that i'm exhausted near the end, to the point i'm falling asleep at the wheel :-\ not good. also my cats are not good travelers. they freak out.

i've done what i can so far. i've researched driving routes, and planned to methods of attack (3 days @ 6 hours, 2 stops... also 2 days @ 9 hours, 1 stop).... because it's 1100 miles there, about 18 hours of driving. sigh. i need to just 'let go and let god' but i'm having a hard time with it. i'm too much of a worrywart and i don't know how not to be. anyway, my new goodies that i ordered came in from tastefully simple. generally not calorie friendly - especially the cakes and breads! - but the shaker seasonings and sauces are amazing. kinda excited to try the honey bbq seasoning shaker. :)

anyway. hope you all are having a better time of it than i am. i keep trying to forget what's going on in my life, and in the course of 2 days i ate a huge bag of chips and a whole jar of queso - my go to comfort food.

Satine 03-27-2012 04:13 PM

Mandy - Sorry you are having a rough time...I know you can get thru it all though, sometimes thinking about it is worse than actually doing it

Enygirl 03-27-2012 05:30 PM

So lately there's bee a picture of a woman with her head hung in shame with the phrase "I'm ashamed of what I've done for a Klondike bar" next to her. Today, I AM this anecdote. I have felt like crap all day. I've had a headache, tired, just overall blah... so instead of upping the water (because I'm probably dehydrated) and working out to increase the endorphins, I turned to food. Wait, not just food - but a 1220 calorie Baskin Robbins Reese's Peanut Butter Cup Premium Sundae. yea -1220!!! And you know what - it DID NOT make me feel better! It didn't take care of my tiredness, headache, or sourpuss mood... no, it made me feel WORSE about myself! I logged my calories in and I had gone WAY over before I even GOT to dinner!!! UGH So, I laid down to sleep off the headache, drank some water, did the first level of Slim in 6 DVD, and you know what, I FEEL BETTER! Since I do my calorie counting based on a budget, I got to put 299 calories back into my day from what I burned... as great as that is, I still only have 9 left for the day.

HOWEVER, I'm glad that although I made a really bad choice, I wised up and remedied it somewhat. Tomorrow's another day, and I WILL make better choices!!!

konfyoozed 03-28-2012 01:28 AM

guess who went to the gym tonight?!

http://img27.imageshack.us/img27/3695/exerciseh.jpg

oh yeah. i still feel blah but i think i burned off all the chips i gorged on. :P

miniDoodles 03-28-2012 02:05 PM

Mandy & Enygirl :celebrate: You both r winners :yay: Congrat's on getting back OP, we pay & learn from our screw-ups. I agree w your posts.

TY for your honest posts & inspiring us all :dust: to keep going forwards to our 'goals'.

:egg::bunny: Happy Easter Chicklets, Dee

MyChoice2bfit 03-28-2012 02:57 PM

Hi Everyone. Some really good posts. I know that for Mandy and Cassie and Envy those binges can be rough but you got back on track and you all gave me some very good ideas to use the next time I binge on sugar. I would love that there wont' be a next time, but you know, I'm a comfort eater and I will do my very best to out-wait a craving but sometimes it does get me.

My knee is feeling a bit better today. I can now bend it with no pain. I skipped a walk last night. I will try a walk tonight and see how it goes.

Dee: A pedometer is a good idea to count your steps; I know that the minimum points is not very much and I think they equal to 1200 calories..and you should NEVER go below that a day, so getting in the step and counting them will help.
Thanks for the idea about the Nutrisystems food. I hadn't thought about it. I will look into it. It would help to have some sort of help with dinner a couple times a week.

Carri: Enjoy the evening working in the yard with your hubby.
Did you watch BL from last night yet? I found it to be a good episode. Let me know what you think.

Cassie: You have a lot going on...be sure you schedule "take time for Cassie" in there.

Mandy: I LOVED the picture you posted...Way to go! Sorry about the driving anxiety.

Enygirl: I am a MONSTER when I binge on sugar; I really like the way you handled it to get back in the game and feeling like a human being.

Ladies, I'm having a little bit of axiety myself. I didn't go to TOPS last week and our Leader emailed me this week that you has decided to step down as leader. She's done it for a long time and right now is having to take care of her sister and so I understand--the other members have been emailing me all week and they are upset and some are thinking of dropping out (I think they were looking for an excuse) because they don't want a change in leadership.

While I love our leader, I think it would be good for a bit of a change and some new blood in that office. The part I'm upset with is that from what I'm hearing the leader isn't just stepping down but also leaving the group. She said something to the effect that "we don't do much as a chapter".

I'm expecting some drama tomorrow night and I'm not sure the Co-Leader will take the office. I'm the Secretary and wouldn't mind being the Leader but i would need someone to get there before I could and open the building and such, since with work I can't get there much more than 10 min before the meeting starts.

A lot of our Ladies are older and so I'm expecting some drama tomorrow and I hope to be helpful and not hurtful but I do have things I want to say. So, please keep me in your thoughts and prayers and if you have any advice I will take it!

Satine 03-29-2012 10:32 AM

Good Morning Goils !!!! I see you all are doing well ...I too have a slight binge issue off and on ...I hate those times....but you learn from it ...I tend to not have any foods around that I want to binge on, that helps me

Susie – yes I did watch it …I think Kim ( the 38 yr old mom ) is looking pretty bad…her face is so thin and makes her look a lot older than she is…I am her age and I don’t look anywhere near how old she does, maybe she tans a lot, who knows….I keep thinking of that saying ( which is mean I know ) that goes “turns out she lost all the weight and she doesn’t have a pretty face…” hahaha …..but of all the people left I do tend to like her the best…I think she has a good chance of winning …just don’t let Conda win …I will wish you drama free night at Tops tonight …I think you would make a great Leader, keep you more accountable too, so go for it !!!

Dee – I love Wendys chili, I relied on that for a diet staple a lot in the Winter …the large was only 310 cals and it is so filling …

Hi to everyone else !!!

Not much going on here today, not having the best day, got into it with dh a little while ago and am just feeling kind of down…we have been married for 18 yrs and off and on we do have our low points…I know a marriage is a work in progress so I try and remember that but some days its just hard…

Have a great day everyone !!

Carri

SMSDREAMER2007 03-29-2012 11:51 AM

Hey all just checkin in this morning. The scale said 237 WOOT that's 2 lbs down today...I like it, I hope the 230's continue to fly by like this! Going with the boyfriend to turn in our applications for our apt today. *crossing fingers we get approved, I'm nervous* other than that not much else going on this week. I might make the boyfriend go get some new pants and a new belt (he's lost 30 lbs and his clothes are FALLING now..its funny to watch him run with his dog he has to hold his pants up). I'm proud of him (even if he is losing at a rate sooo much faster than I am LOL). Gonna chill some before classes start next week. german starts monday and my school book isn't here yet (YIKES!). Well, I'm off to get ready so I can make it to my noon appointment with my scholarship coordinator! have a great day ya'll the week is almost over ;)

konfyoozed 03-29-2012 02:13 PM

i'm not losing any weight. fractions of a pound over the course of a week. i'm afraid to reduce my calories any further because of the intensity of my workouts. i wish something would give. every day i have to tell myself "giving up will make you 300 pounds again, it will be better tomorrow"... but almost every day i do what i'm supposed to (i highly doubt a binge on occasion can completely cancel out weeks of not binging), and i see no change on the scale. at 170 i might accept that and be happy, but at 270 there's just too much fat to get rid of to accept that i'm *supposed* to be this big. blah.

Satine 03-29-2012 04:11 PM

Mandy - you know they say muscle adds more weight so maybe back off of that part of it for a while and just do simple cardio ...see if that gets things moving...or drop your carb intake ....

konfyoozed 03-29-2012 10:10 PM

the problem with cardio is it doesn't just cause your body to burn fat, it can cause loss in muscle mass too.... building muscle is supposed to help with your metabolic rate and increase the rate at which your body burns fat. which is why i do it.

i don't know how much to eat. i don't know how much to exercise. i'm just confused by it now. :(

MyChoice2bfit 03-30-2012 08:47 AM

Hi Everyone. I am so glad it is the weekend but the TV will be on all weekend in our house. My DH is a huge basketball fan and a huge professional wrestling fan and both sports have things this weekend--including Monday night when it is the NCAA Men's finals.

While I'm from Ohio, and I will cheer them on to beat Kansas, I ultimately want UK (Kentucky) to win and if they don't then Louisville is my other pick.

My DH's best friend who passed away last July was a HUGE UK fan and they had talked about going to the game if UK got into the Final 4. I offered to go with my DH if he wanted to as I know this was something he was looking forward to with his friend but he said, he would just stay home and watch it since his friend couldn't go; he did ask for me to sit and watch that whole game with Saturday night (I'm usually drifting in and out doing things around the house, or reading) but I will watch the UK/Louisville fro beginning to end in support of my DH.

Carri: So, I just posted and said how I was supportive of DH--I want you to know that comes and goes! lol :D We have been married 24 years come this October and you are right, marriage is a lot of work and that is because it is a committment.

I know you and your DH will come to an understanding but it does feel badly at times when a couple is disagreeing. Just say I love you and I want to move on from that. If you can agree on whatever it was work to it and if you can't then agree to disagree and figure what you can live with and what you can't, present that to the other person and then just move on as you can.

I agree that Kim on BL is looking a little older than she was and I do think its because she is tanning so much. While I am NOT a Conda fan, I have to admit she is looking good and you know I think she is a pretty girl..on the outside..not so sure about on the inside.

Dreamer: Great loss for you! I hope things goes well with the apartment application.

Mandy: You are right that just giving up will only get you back to 300 lbs and you DON'T want to go back there. It is frustrating when you don't see the scales moving but you know they will start again..you just need to hang in there.

I think you should add more protein to your diet and make sure your carbs are complex carbs.

You said you didn't know how much to exercise or how much to eat. Have you looked online for one of the sites that will tell you how much to eat and work out to loose a set number of weight from where you are at?

Also, I think maybe changing what you do with your workouts might happen. I remember one night on BL Bob was talking about doing your regular workout backwards. I can't remember all what he said, but I bet if you google it you can find it. He said it helps to break a plateau.

So, last night I had a BIG gain! Two pounds in two weeks. That is why I don't miss meetings very often and why I was stressed that we might not have a TOPS group after last night.

However, things got worked out and our Leader said she would keep the position but asked for help with certain things and people did step up for those.

I have set new goals for myself. No Excuses this time!

I put my weight in my Lose it App and said I wanted to lose 2 lbs a week and it tells me my daily calorie intake amount is 1876 and I should reach my first goal of 270 by June 16.

There's my stats ladies...keep me to them. I need some tough love and a lot of support! I am an emotional eater and for the next few weeks I will be searching ways to not comfort myself with food when those emotionals come.

Satine 03-30-2012 10:26 AM

Morning All ...well we did the weigh in this morning for the work contest and I am still in the lead, but just barely ....me and this guy are really close, and you know how men can lose more...plus he tends to do drastic things in the last week just to win so I probably don't have a chance....next week is our last weigh in, I think the prize is about 100.00 which would be nice...I would spend it on a couple pairs of capri's...want some jean ones for this Summer ....I was down two pounds on this scale so will probably be the same for my weigh in at home this weekend but we will see...

Tonight the girls at work and I are all going out for a 40th bday celebration for one of the girls here and we are going to TGI Fridays...gonna try and be good and order something lower, also not going to have any of the cake I ordered for her yesterday, which will be hard since I am such a icing whore, lol :D

Susie - I know you put Dee's name on your post, but I know it was to me from what you were saying :) haha ....and yes things with dh are back to normal, like every couple we just go thru things...I know you know what I mean with your lengthy marriage....yes I do think Conda is very pretty...and like you said this is just on the outside because she has a lot of things she needs to change about her immature personality.

Mandy - sorry I don't have more advice...I have lost 17 pds with no exercise so I am not a good one to give ya advice on that :(

So glad it is Friday, so need the weekend, think if it doesnt rain we are going to do more yard work, putting mulch down and stuff.

Have a great day everyone...will check in over the weekend and post by weigh in results. See ya

Carri

SMSDREAMER2007 03-30-2012 12:24 PM

Submitted apt apps last night *fingers crossed* we should hear back mid next week!

236.6 this am...not recording it on ticker till sun or mon though. glad I am back to my average of a new decade a month *whew* I was worried for a bit I wouldn't make it into the 230's in march. Now just to make it into the 220's in april (with moving and all that will be a challenge yikes!)

Mandy- maybe try to replace 1 night of weight training with cardio only. Cardio does build muscle because you are using muscles to perform the actions just not at the rate weight training does. i found when i started running last year i didn't lose AT ALL when i ran but when I didn't I lost a TON and it wasn't muscle I was losing either it was cause my body was tired.

carri- im sure you can beat him. oh and there should be rules at work against drastic measures

susie - THANKS! and gl on making your goal! im sure youll do it!

miniDoodles 03-30-2012 08:54 PM

Hey Y'all :snow4: April Fool's Day was early & hit today. We had a 2 hour blizzard, 1" of snow & the temp is 38* today.

MyChoice2bfit 03-31-2012 09:57 AM

Had a great on-plan day yesterday and was able to talk myself out of having a ice cream bar about 9:30 p.m. I would have been within my calorie numbers but I wanted to feel as if I had power over that ice cream bar so I took my book, got in bed and read until I feel asleep.

Dee: THANK YOU  for the tough love and for the 21 (3 week) reminder and making it a challange. Right now that is my goal, to not eat for comfort for 21 days and stay in my calorie range.

Good for you for saying what you did to your TOPS club. I sort of gave a similar speech on Thursday. Sometimes we need to kick those we love to get motivated!

Time to get busy and do some house cleaning. Have a great Saturday and work towards the you that you want to be.

miniDoodles 03-31-2012 05:38 PM

Hi Mandy, Cassie & Enygirl :smug: we enjoy it when we share our menu's or log-in our daily foods here. It helps us to be accountable & gives us ideas to cook & try :p Sooo if you feel like sharing your food, please do. Also like Susie did >(able to talk myself out of having a ice cream bar about 9:30 p.m):dancer:<
Please, share your victories often w us TY.

Have a fun April 1st, Sunday. Dee :easter2: We're on the same team @ 3FC, w the same reasons :grouphug:

Satine 03-31-2012 05:48 PM

Evening all. Just a quick drop in for my weigh in results this morning. Down another 2. So now I have lost 18 pds since Feb 9th. I feel really good.

Have a good weekend all

i am going to try the 'eat more, weigh less' plan.... crazy i know! but i am going to post a few things to my blog, and if you want to read about i encourage it.

Info: http://www.3fatchicks.com/diet-blogs...ore-weigh-less

i realize i am going to have a gain initially on this method, but if you have seen my posts around the site then you know i am not one of those who can just eat less and less and don't like the idea of eating less than BMR. i get grumpy, mean, unhappy, and i'm hungry!

i have seen several "yay for me" type posts where it has worked out for many women. i am willing to risk the gain in order to start losing again.

miniDoodles 04-01-2012 03:53 PM

Mandy :cheer3: Good Luck, I know You can do it!!!

konfyoozed 04-01-2012 09:18 PM

the hard part right now is trying to get in enough calories without eating so much i feel sick. it's a problem i never thought i'd have to deal with. the issue is getting to my calorie goal, with 40% from protein. when you add in that much protein to your diet... it's almost impossible to eat that much.

ghlover 04-02-2012 09:58 AM

Good morning Onderlander's lol

I weighed in at 198.6 last Fri, woohoo!

Still can't believe it but my clothes show me otherwise,

Good morning Girls ...I had a good weekend...yesterday I went over calories at a pizza buffett, but oh well, today is another day...and I had a great time with my parents, brother and his kids, and dh ...so it was worth it all ...beautiful day too...

Mandy - I have heard of that plan but don't know much about it ...good luck with it. :)

Dee - I know this has been a few days since you were talking about the guy here that is in the contest with me at work ...what he is doing is not right and I have sworn I will never be in another contest here of his because of that...I have worked hard for six weeks to win this and he is going to take it away from me in the very last week...I don't see how he can do it with a clean conscience but oh well...I have resolved myself to not winning and will move on, I am losing this weight for me and my health, not that contest ....I will have to try those skinny girl margheritas, that is my FAVORITE drink

Susie - I am too late for the tough love , Dee gave ya enough haha ...but I do know you can do this....I had a rough time of like 6 months where I just couldnt get it started and now that I have and have lost a small chunk I am just SO in the groove and motivated...you can get there too

GHlover - congrats !!! I can't wait to see a 1 on my scale

I had like little to no sleep last night...I am so tired today at work ...probably gonna be an early one for me tonight ....hope you all have a great Monday.

See ya

Hello!

I had a good weekend and stayed OP and within my calorie range with the exception of Saturday and it was because I had a rootbeer but I was only over by that and I was under on Friday and yesterday so it will all even out.

We went to a local Rootbeer Stand that is only open from March until Sept and they make their own rootbeer..it's very good. My DH and I aren't wine drinkers so we are Rootbeer drinkers! We look for different kinds to try all the time. Just something we have done since we got married--that and always finding a Walmart on vacation where ever we are to take a picture. We put together a slide show of our vacations once and just for fun that was all the pictures we showed (at first), then we showed the rest of the vacation pictures.

I am getting a pedicure after work tonight. I usually do my own in the winter but always get a professional one for the first one of Spring and usually do it around Easter.

Dee: When I do drink margarita's rasberry is my favorite, so I put your recipie in my recipie box. It sounded like you had a lovely time planned with your friends.

I have friends who have done the lap band and the baratic surgery. One of my friends looks great and healthy, the other 3 have so much lose skin and one of my friends died.

I think it's a individual choice and just not one for me.

Carri: Congrats on that lose! Can't wait for you to hit the 20 lb mark...hopefully this week?!
You are right that I just need to get in a pattern where I am seeing a loss for about 3-4 weeks and then I will be in the groove..so right now I'm just "faking it until I make it" and each day, I tell myself that I am in the groove..i'm walking and staying in my range so for now, that is my groove!

Mandy: I will check out your blog and good luck!

Ghlover: Congrats on your accomplishment!

the blog where i'm keeping better track of everything is the one linked in my sig... i would suggest reading that one.

except for a handful of people being supportive, i am starting to think that maybe 3FC and me need to part ways. i don't like the thought of there being 2 choices "eat everything, exercise never, and get fat" or "eat nothing, exercise always, and lose weight"... so many people on here seem to push the "your body doesn't need calories calories are why you are fat!" idea... and i feel that eating well, healthily and at a level my body needs, and exercising to create the deficit is the most healthy way to lose weight. i'm tired of being told i'm wrong, or have it implied that i'm stupid. :(

Morning Girls ...all is going well here :) Supposed to get some bad weather again tonight, hopefully not anymore hail ...my brother lives in an apt and his car is outside and the other night we had some good size hail, well he has a lot of damage to his car...I worry about that too when I am here at work.

Dee - yes he is a butthole for doing what he is going to do :D any other time he is a really good guy, I just think he has a very competitive nature and can't stand to lose. I agree with you on the Karma thing, so what comes around goes around...Yes, I can't wait to start getting new clothes ...I am so bound and determined to get this weight off for good this time !!!!!

Mandy - I will also miss you if you go but I would understand...they say any plan works if you work it and I believe it, you just have to find the one that works for you, no judgement...I, like you, don't believe in starving myself to lose weight, I eat a lot on my plan, just good things instead of bad things...do what's best for you and don't worry about what others think...none of us think you are stupid. Good Luck

Susie - I LOVE Rootbeer too....I love the root beer floats they have at our State Fair every year...cant wait to have one again in August. How did your pedicure go? I always get one near spring too ...the polish, if done well, lasts so long on your feet...well worth the money, and great to have some pampering

Hi to everyone else !! Have a great day.

Carri
