Hi Everyone!

I am sitting here posting and DH is in the kitchen making breakfast, bacon, pancakes and eggs.

We always have a later bigger breakfast on Saturday and then we eat a snack in the afternoon after the house is cleaned, then we go get grocery's and order dinner out when we come home or we might be having dinner with friends so we go out. Tonight we are taking DH's dad out to dinner tonight for his birthday. We do cook on Sunday.

As I'm sitting here reading the posts, I'm just smiling and DH asks me what I am smiling about and I told him that it's just all of you ladies...you make me happy and inspire me and keep me in touch with myself. So THANK YOU!

I had a 1 lb gain at TOPS. So, I am up 3 from my lowest weight (288) in a long time. My focus for the next 2 weeks is to get below that 288 number. I just have to keep focused and the way I do that is to come here and read and post everyday, use my Lose It app and get back to the Y 3-4 times a week.

I survived the 1st week of my new job. They already gave me an additional assignment for my work plan. I will be preparing the agenda and taking the minutes for a Leadership Team meeting.

We have Monday off (President's Day) and I will spend a few hours working so that I can get a bit more organized and hopefully start working that way in this role.

My managers calendar is crazy and I have to keep up with it. I'm new to supporting her so I'm just learning the meetings she has to attend or is a Sponsor off. I have to ask her all the time about conflicting meetings and her priority, so we sat down a bit on Friday and went over her recurring meetings and which ones are have to's or like to's or should be for her so I can start managing it myself without having to wait and ask.

I'm making a spreadsheet of all that info so that it is at my fingertips and I can look at it and quickly process the calendar invites and move what needs to be moved. Information at my company comes fast and has to be handled quickly and correctly. As we are Global it can be challenging at times with all the different time zones. I guess that is why they call it "work"! lol

Many of you commented about me having a personal chef twice a week. It has been a great thing for us since we both work and have a 45-60 min commute both ways daily.

We have done this for a little over a year. My personal chef is a young family friend who has been going to culinary school for the past two years. She will graduate in May and in July she is headed to Mexico for 1 yr to do a mission trip and teach the cooks at a orphanage there how to use the resources they have to make healthy and different meals. The past two summers she went to this mission and worked with them for 6 weeks, doing a lot of things beside the cooking and she feels called to do this.

So, I'll be losing her in July. I don't have anyone lined up to do this for us after she leaves. I'm praying that I will find someone I can trust to come in and do it for us.

Carri: Tulips are beautiful and one of my favorites. How nice of DH to do that for you and congratulations for not eating the entire bag of bugles at one setting...that is a great NSV! I am glad to hear you are feeling better..and getting more snotty! lol Drink lots of water to get that stuff moving, thinned out and gone!

Dee: I hate it when the bad weather keeps me from my TOPS meeting.
We had a great meeting this week, very uplifting and building excitment for weight loss.

In the newest issue of TOPS news there is a program that utilizes a bingo type game. Have you seen it? We are using it as an ongoing thing to get ourselves moving and trying new ways of exercising and getting back to exercises we used to do. The square they pulled for this week is walk 1/2 mile. I do have that on my bingo card and it's something I do pretty regulary daily (I usually walk 2-3 miles a day when I am in a routine), so I've got this week square covered!

The first person that "bingos" will have a choice of an exercise ball, kettle balls or exercise bands.

I wish you could come and cook for me..and sew too! It's hard to find people to do those things.

Mandy: I LOVE it that you and your DH watch those shows and exercise together. I am going to mention this to my DH and maybe we can do that at least one workout a week together. I want to get him back to the Y with me. It helps me to go as well when he is going to.

Liz: I LOVE pizza too! I'm sure you will get that 3 lbs back off and at your maintence weight. Have fun at your time in NY...sounds like a great time!

DH is telling me breakfast is ready. I feel so great now that I have started my day with all of you. I KNOW it will help keep me on-plan today.

MyChoice2bfit 02-20-2012 07:53 AM

It was a great weekend and I was on plan most of the time. Went a little over my calories on Saturday with eating out.

I am off work today and getting ready for my day. I have some things I want to get done this morning, then this afternoon I'm going to watch a movie or nap. Meeting a friend at 7 p.m. tonight to walk the indoor track at the Y. We have found a 5K Walk/Run (i will be walking) Race to do at the end of March..time to start training. We want to finish it is 50-55 min. Shaving a little time off each race that we enter.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Morning Girls ...so I am pretty jealous of all of you that have today off ...I work at an ins company and we don't :( Oh well :D

I had a good OP weekend....my total loss for my first week back on was 4.6 pds so I am very happy with that, although I realize I wont be able to keep that up long term...just want my normal 2-3 per week ...well most likely 2

Liz - You are doing so great with maintenence, you are so smart about it ...so I wouldnt worry about the 5 slices...I have such a pizza issue...I LOVE it !!!

Susan - glad to hear the job is going well ...guess it will take some adjustment time ....dont worry about the gain, you can get that off pretty easily...and thanks...you make us smile too

Hi Dee !! Hope you had a great weekend ...and Hi to Mel, Arabella, and Auntie G as well.

Hope you all have a great day !!!

dee: royal pains is a medical drama on USA about a 'concierge doctor' (hank) his brother, and his physician's assistant, that basically do house calls for a bunch of rich folks in the hamptons. it's pretty interesting, but my husband likes it a lot more than i do. :)

well, it's monday and that means we're gonna put our gym clothes on, go sit on a comfy leather couch for 2 hours and watch the voice, then at 10 head down to the gym and workout while we watch castle. woo!

i posted this on MFP: so, in my collection i have a few "walk away the pounds" dvds, a "yoga for beginners" dvd, as well as the full set of "billy's boot camp" dvds. considering switching out my afternoon walk (it just doesn't get my heart rate up anymore!) for 30 mins yoga/30 mins billys boot camp (alternating)... last time i tried the boot camp DVDs i couldn't get through the first 10 minutes before i felt like i was gonna die. i think i could do better now.

i'm tryin to make up my mind on this i LIKE walking. but it's just not the workout it used to be (yay for that)... tryin to turn it up a notch.

MyChoice2bfit 02-21-2012 07:23 PM

Hi. It was back to work today and it was a busy day.

I am having so much trouble getting into a regular workout routine and I find it surprising as I used to love to work out. It's just that when I get home I am tired and so I take a few minutes to relax and then I don't want to go back out. I do well for a couple of days and then my workout partner can't make it and so I just don't go.

I know if I start getting into a regular routine that I won't be so tired, but it feels like a catch 22. I would love some advice/input on this.

My food is good and the good part of my new work area is that I have to climb 20 stairs daily to get to my desk.

Carri: WOW! What a great loss!! That is a good way to jumpstart and feel really good about what you are doing.
Sorry you had to work yesterday.

Mandy: I am a walker and I love it but I think it is good to vary the workout routines so you should try something new.
I don't see myself ever getting to where the walk doesn't get my heart rate up because when that starts to happen I just increase the incline.

Satine 02-22-2012 10:19 AM

Morning Girls :sunny:

All going well here, snuck on the scale this morning and was down another pound, I have said I am only going to weigh myself every Saturday but the scale got the best of me and had to peek...My goal is two a week though so hopefully I can squeeze another one out before Sunday :sumo:

Susan - I am not a good person to give advice on working out...I hate to do it and I rarely do it ...I am thinking about buying a bike to ride on the trails around our neighborhood for the Spring though ...figure that is something I enjoy...they say food is 90% of the weightloss so I never really put much thought into the exercise part except that I know in a few years I will be 40 and I need to tone up as I lose as well. :jig:

Had to dvr Biggest Loser last night, this has been the first season of it that I am not real into it ...I think it is the cast, especially Conda, I want to go and kick her butt around a little, she drives me nuts with her attitude...but I guess I will watch it tonight ...

Also tonight is the last episode of My 600 Pound Life , I have loved watching that show and will be sad to see it go ...this one ( per the previews ) seems like it might be the best one yet ...If you have missed them all I think I saw that on Saturday ( maybe afternoon to evening sometime ) they are going to run all four of them and I believe its TLC channel.

Have a good day everyone !!!

Carri

Morning All ....just got done having my breakfast with a side of antibiotic, haha....I have been real into the Chobani yogurts lately for breakfast ...you girls like them? or had them? It's a greek yogurt, I like them because they are not too sour, have a ton of different flavors to choose from and have 14 or more grams of protein per container ( which is great for yogurt ) and the one I had this morning, blood orange, was only 140 cals ...so if you like yogurt and you havent tried them, give them a try, they are good ...I also had a granola bar to go with...I am excited because me and my brother are going out for lunch today and we are having SUSHI ...one of my favorite meals....filling and low cal ...I will get one roll, a seaweed salad and have some edamame ....can't beat that and it will stay with me all day....

How are you all doing?

Carri

I am on my way out with the kids right now but I really wanted to say hi, things have been so busy - I'm actually off this week but have less time in front of the computer since the kids occupy most every single waking second! I'm about to take them for a long walk in advance of all the snow that's coming! Them and the dog, since I know I won't want to take the dog out later. Hopefully I can be back on tonight and do some individual posts but wanted to at least say Hi! See, in the time it took to do this post, they got into two fights. Groan!!!!! :( :)

miniDoodles 02-25-2012 01:30 PM

Carri, what restaraunt in Indiana serves fresh Sushi? Sooo wonderful to have a brother to eat out with, I envy you :smug:

Mel, Arabella & Susie :luck2you: I miss hearing from you.

Afternoon Girls, or I guess it is evening now here ....it is freezing here only a high of 31 today and get into the low 20's here tonight so I am just hanging at home with the hubs and the dog ...

Dee - I am SO sorry for your loss, that is horribly sad ...will be thinking of you in this time of sadness. Hugs

My goal for the week was 2 pds but I actually lost 3 and a half per the scales this morning so I am super pleased and on the right track...have now lost a total of 7 pds in two weeks.

Have a good rest of the weekend all.

Carri

MyChoice2bfit 02-25-2012 07:32 PM

Hello!

It was a long work week but I managed to get my email down to 14 emails that I have to do something with. Much better than the 162 emails I had on Monday!

I am happy to report a 1 lb loss at TOPS on Thursday. I have 2 more to get back off to where I was on Jan 1. I WILL do it.

Today I haven't stepped foot out of the house. I did some house cleaning and wiped out the fridge before 9:30 a.m. this morning. DH went to the grocery and I wanted to clean it out before he came home with new stuff.

Dee: I am so sorry to hear of your friends passing. So very young and so very sad. to you. I will keep her daughter in my prayers as well as you. Friends are precious and sometimes we are as close with them as we are with family.

Carri: I have had some trouble getting into Biggest Loser too and for me it is due to Conda..she is irritating! It was a good episode this week though.

Liz: Did you get your walk in before the snow?

Mandy: What sort of strenght training are you doing?

Where in the world are Arabella, Auntie G and Mel??? :?:

konfyoozed 02-25-2012 08:52 PM

susie: i'm doing a lot of upper body stuff with an all-in-one gym because that's all i really have access to and i'm enjoying it. my husband is helping me :)

tonight is a strength training day and i'm excited :)

MyChoice2bfit 02-26-2012 06:27 PM

It has been a relaxing day for me. I am about to go do some yoga here in a bit but that is about as strenous as it is getting today.

I have been on track with my food and calorie range yesterday and today.

It is pretty quiet here so I'm thinking you all have been relaxing too!

Mandy: I used to love strength training. It made me feel so powerful afterwards to have that soreness in my muscles from pushing them a little further than I thought they could go.
Keep up the good work.

konfyoozed 02-26-2012 08:40 PM

last night after doing 3 sets of 10 on 50lb for the bench hubby was like "let's see if you can do 90..." and i did, then he was like "hmm... let's see, try again"... then he was like "yeah, you just bench pressed 100 pounds with tired arms. good job"

i felt like some kind of god there for a second.

Satine 02-27-2012 10:12 AM

Morning Girls ....hope you all had a great weekend ...I am still riding high on my weight loss for last week...it is really helping me stay OP ...hope I can do it with dh out of town this week though...I tend to eat really bad when alone because no one can see me do it haha but will try and stay strong and active and then keep my mind off the food...

Mandy - great job with the weigh training...sounds awesome

Susie - congrats on the loss ...keep it up !!!

Nothing too exiting for me over the weekend, just lazing around basically...gonna REALLY warm up here this week...Weds supposed to be a high of 65 which is quite unheard of around here in Feb ....but it is Leap Day that day so the whole thing is kind of odd, haha

Have a great day everyone !!!

Carri

Satine 02-29-2012 10:15 AM

wow ....so quiet around here ...looks like we need to recruit some new members haha :D Hope you all are doing well....

Same ol' here, still sticking to plan and hoping to lose my 2 pds this week, I snuck on scale this morning and was only down a half of a pound but I know a lot can happen weightloss wise between now and Saturdays weigh in.

Liz - I cant remember, at what rate where you losing ? Like 2-3 a week or more? Seems like you got it off quickly but I can't remember how long it took you ...did you just stay around like 1500-1600 cals or how low did you go?

Hi to everybody, hope you all are having a great week !!!

Come back on and talk

Carri

MyChoice2bfit 02-29-2012 12:41 PM

Hi. Carri is right, it has been quiet here.

My Director is in town this week so I'm in early to the office and leaving late and not taking lunch..just eating at my desk but today I decided I was jumping on here for a bit..I need to get my ONEDERLAND Gang fix!

While I have been having busy days in the office this week I am proud to say that I have gotten in a 30 min walk at the Y on Monday and Tuesday and it's so nice here today (Carri--we have 65 F degree weathier today) so I hope when I get home I can do the walk outside.

I have added a new ticker goal at the bottom of my signature. It is something I am working for by April 27 as that is Ohio TOPS SRD day (State Recognition). This is a very motivating event to go to. I haven't been in a couple of years but this year it is in Akron, OH and that is a nice "trip" for me and DH to make so I want to go and thought it was a great opportunity to challenge myself and work towards something.

So I am logging my food again on my Lose It app and getting in at least 30 min of exercise 5 days a week. That's the plan.

Carri: What did you think of Biggest Loser last night? Now about your DH being out of town. I am one of those eaters who eats more when people aren't around to see me, so I understand. (every ate a candy bar in the bathroom at 2:00 a.m.? or baked a cake and then had to bake another one so no one knew you at the whole thing?!)

As you know, you own the control over that and can decide to use it as a excuse or to conquer and I bet THIS time you can!

Mandy: You are going to have killer arms...and that chest will sit up high! and that's a good thing to have going for you---as you age, gravity is not kind! :dizzy:;)

I'm looking forward to hearing from everyone. Please come and POST!

Satine 03-01-2012 10:14 AM

Morning Girls

Susie - that made me laugh about eating the whole cake and then having to bake another one, haha ...I haven't done that but have done similar things...and yeah I will eat a lot more when others arent around so I have to take control and be good.

I havent watched B Loser this week yet, I dvr'd it and will watch it maybe tonight or tomorrow ...the whole thing is getting ridiculous though, so hope this weeks episode was better than last weeks.

Hi everyone !!

Carri

hi ladies and happy march!

getting my day sorted out, it's ending with a cook out. every friday i know it's coming, and every friday i stress about how much i'm gonna eat! today i think i'm gonna make a veggie and whole grain rice stir fry dish, so there's at least *something* healthy there to eat. :)

Satine 03-03-2012 12:53 PM

miniDoodles 03-03-2012 09:58 PM

Wow Carri :celebrate::woohoo: on your Awesome Losses!

MyChoice2bfit 03-04-2012 09:33 AM

I had a .25 lb gain on Thursday. I have no idea why, but I won't stress over that 1/4 gain. I don't feel it was "real".

What I am concentrating on is how good I felt about myself for staying in my calorie range all week last week and getting in my workouts and I will stay that course. I think that .25 and more will be gone this coming Thursday.

We went to the Arnold Classic yesterday in Columbus. I saw a lot of very fit people and people who take it to the extreme and I could feel that confidence that each one had in themselves.

I felt it wasn't because they knew they looked good (although you could tell they were proud of that), but more about the fact that they were in control of themselves and their hard work showed. They felt accomplished.

I want that feeling! and the only way I can get it, is to get out there and do it and recognize it as it is happening. Does that make sense?

Carri: Great job on getting 10 lbs off already this year!

Dee: So good to see you here!

Mandy: How did the cookout go?

MyChoice2bfit 03-06-2012 07:11 AM

Hi Everyone,

I didn't make it here yesterday and I didn't get my workout in eithier. I tried to do our taxes last night. It's my first time efiling. I think I know have the Federal one done. As soon as it is accepted I will then tackle the State.

I could feel myself last night wanting something to soothe and comfort me while I was doing them but I didn't give in to that. I mean, come on..was food going to help me file them? NO!

I have a busy day at work today; everything still feels very new and it takes me forever to do something. At least that's how I feel. My manager tells me I'm doing great and I'm very resourceful.

So, that got me to thinking. I wonder how many other things that I think are not really as I perceive and how does this go hand-in-hand with my weightloss battle.

Anyone want to share their thoughts on that?

I hope you are are on plan and doing well. If so, come inspire me. If not, then come and let's figure it out together. Support comes in many, many forms doesn't it?

Satine 03-06-2012 10:27 AM

Morning everyone …I had a good OP weekend…I haven’t had any kind of “cheat” meal in 3 weeks now…and I am about to crack for one…I have my annual blood work done this Friday AM and after that I am going to have a cheat meal this coming weekend….I am sort of thinking my body needs it as something different anyhow, everyday it gets the same 1500 cals and I am going to give it a little more one night, haha …not crazy over, but over …I think after 3 weeks ( well it will be 4 at that point ) of staying on point I deserve one meal ….I think …

After 3 weeks I feel pretty much in the groove but still have some bad craving days…I was VERY proud of myself for not having a binge day with my dh being out of town this weekend…normally I would do that every time …so I feel like maybe I am getting some control back finally …

Susie – I wouldn’t worry about the gain, not very much of one …I too am a comfort eater but am slowly re-training my mind to not go towards food for comfort but other things …what you brought up is good food for thought , will have to think about it …I know my dh is always saying that I perceive things differently than they really are …I know there is some truth to that …just keep moving forward and doing what you are doing…you will be in the groove in no time…I know it gets frustrating, believe me…

Dee – Thanks…I feel really good right now

With my depression I need to have something to look forward to in my mind all of the time, just keeps my outlook more positive and right now I am looking forward to Fall of this year and being at least 50 pds lighter ….

What are the rest of you looking forward to this year ?

Carri

miniDoodles 03-06-2012 03:45 PM

:kickcan:Carri & Susie, we r on the same page & concerns often...We are like family  I am so happy that 3FC is here for us.

As long as we start-over, a small binge won't wreck being OP. Because we are here, we r determined to be healthy & slimmer & we are winningWeight is something we can fix, nomatter our personal reasons. It's within our reach & it does affect our future health, by preventing disability & diseases.

Carri, You r beautiful & have a wonderful future & You Are succeeding with your goals..We are Proud of You & so is your family :smug: If you have/go to Halloween parties, think about your goal & planning your skinny costume for it & Let that or your winter Christmas party Inspire you getting your body Slim again.

I'm looking forward to the warmer weather; cook-outs, camping, biking, I Luv the water, swimming/kayaking, walking on the beach, gardening/eating fresh foods, the flowers.
Spring & fall r also pretty, but they are the big allergy seasons & I hate the migraines I get from the pollen/weeds.

Susie, I'm serious about my family coming to the Zoo, & find a hotel nearby & come in July. It will be wonderful if we can meet & maybe get Carri to meet us too. With the gas prices, my DH is not certain we can do it this summer :( but I think I can convince him :o

 Dee

Satine 03-07-2012 10:31 AM

Morning Girls !!!

Dee - you are just the sweetest  Thanks for the encouraging words...I didnt know your dh ever had cancer, but am so glad to hear that he is okay now...I know financial stress is hard to deal with...and good for you on the snacks...I might use that idea, its a really good one ...I found these 50 calorie all fruit popcicle that I have been using my for week moments...because they are frozen it takes me a while to eat them and then I feel fine after that...
And you are right, weight is something we can work on no matter what is going on in our lives, stress wise - so I am glad I feel like I am on the right track now and hopefully can get all this weight off in 2012.

Yes, gas prices are HORRENDOUS, they are talking about them maybe getting up to 5.00 this Summer, that would put a stopper on quite a few things for me...it would stink ...but they know they have us where they want us, we have to have gas, so we are screwed ! :D

Hope you all have a great day !!! Miss you guys !!

Carri

MyChoice2bfit 03-07-2012 07:27 PM

Hi Everyone,

So good to read the posts. I almost cried when I read what Dee wrote. I have way to many 'I should have done this'...'not that' times in my life. And I swear I don't want to turn 50 and think, "I should have lost that weight in my 40's".

I came here at the right time tonight as I was feeling very tired and overwhelmed. So much to do at home and work and then trying to keep myself on track every day. When I become overwhelmed, I overeat and then I start over.

I know when I have a slip up I need to just start over, but dang it..I need to get past only doing well for 2 weeks! BUT I WILL NOT GIVE UP!

Carri: I have kept popsicles on hand in the past to help me get over a weak moment. Thanks for reminding me of that. What kind did you buy?
I also like the idea of naming something to look forward to.

Dee: I really hope you do come to Columbus in July and I will for sure meet you there with my DH and maybe one a couple of my nieces or newphews. It would be so much fun. and just imagine in Carri and her DH came too! Wouldn't that be great?!

Ok. I feel much better now. I will go eat dinner and clean up the kitchen and then relax and get to bed early and hopefully tomorrow I won't feel so tired, worn out and easily defeated in the "diet" area of my life.

Satine 03-08-2012 10:19 AM

Morning Girls.....

Susie - I got this new kind from Edy's, it was like a box that had three kinds in it and said it was anti oxident fruit flavors ( acai berry and blueberry, white grape, and I think pomegranite ) ...they are really good.
Do you live in Columbus OH ? That isn't terribly far ...don't know if I could get dh to come but I might be able to, if gas isn't 6.00 a gallon by then

Get my annual blood work done tomorrow morning...just want to get it done and see the numbers...I have always had high tryglicerides and for some reason last year they were good ( out of the blue ), so I am anxious to see if it still is and what all my numbers are.

Still staying on the straight and narrow food wise ...updated my weight on my Lose It app a couple of days ago and dropped 46 cals ( that I needed haha ), so have been a little hungry the last couple of days but haven't gone over calories...

Have a great day all !!!

Carri

MyChoice2bfit 03-08-2012 07:15 PM

Just came from my TOPS meeting and I gained--and it was a big gain 1 lb! It was all the handful of jelly beans I kept having each day an each night. I knew I would be up.

So, today when I left work, I took that candy dish and threw them in the trash and I did the same thing when I walked in the door at home. I KNEW not to buy them...who did I think I was kidding?!

I had the program tonight at TOPS and I did it on how we don't perceive ourselves as being overweight because a lot of times we don't look in the mirror. If we take a picture of ourselves it will help us get a better perception, so tonight we all retook our pictures.

I know I see a lot of weightloss success stories and always along they way they take pictures of themselves. So I have my picture and moving forward and downward on those scales!

Carri: Good for you for updating your Lose It app. Didn't that feel good?!
I hope you get a good blood work result back,

I don't leave in Columbus, OH but rather between Columbus and Cincinnati. Right off I 71. Both downtown areas are about 1 hr from where I live. I drive to Blue Ash, OH every day for work, takes me 40 min.

I think it would be fun to all meet in Columbus is the gas isn't sky high and we can do it.

Where is everyone? Liz, Mel, Arabella, Auntie G, Mandy..and Dee I know you have been here but not today. You ALL are missed!

wow girls, I have some great news !!! At my last few doctor appts my blood pressure had been horrible, like 160/114 most times...well last month she put me on a low amt of bld pressure meds and told me to lose weight ( of course ), so today when I went back, after losing 8 pds since I saw here a month ago, my bld pressure was only 120/82 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :carrot::carrot: I am so excited, she was so happy with it, and I haven't had a good dr visit in a while ....will get my blood test results back probably in a week or so ...so that is the next hurdle to get over, so hopefully all is well there.

I am also in the lead in the weightloss challenge here at work after only two weeks...hope I can keep that up too ...there is a nice little bit of prize money if I can.

Susie - Dont worry about the 1 pd gain, you can get it back off ...I think throwing away the jelly beans was a good start...Yes it would be nice to meet up :)

Well I gotta get back to work ...hope you all have a good weekend...I will try and get on here tomorrow when I do my weekly weigh in ...

:yay: Carri & Susie :cheer2: On both Your successes.
 Carri for your blood pressure # I know your doctor was thrilled to see you there much Healthier :goodscale
Thanks also for info about your fruit popcicles to us :p I'm buying some Saturday for a quick fix. There is no cure for the type of cancer my DH has, he'll be on a daily chemo. pill forever, oncologist says until his body rejects it/his death. He has side effects from it he tolerates, like most RX.

Have a Great Weekend  Dee

Morning Girls….well I finally had a cheat meal ( or rather day ) Saturday…I told myself that I had been doing great for a month and decided I deserved one….so I did eat what I wanted that day and it was good, felt a little odd since I am so used to counting cals daily now….so today I get up and the scale shows me up 2 whole pounds !! 2 !!! I realize it is probably water from all the sodium I had that day and fat, but still …I realized I may not even lose anything this week and that makes me sad, feel like I will be working to get off those two pds, I don’t think it is possible to actually gain two pounds from one day …I mean they say you have to eat an extra 3500 cals to gain one pound, so that would mean I would have had to have eaten 7500 cals over what I normally eat to gain two pounds, so not humanly possible, but hey I guess stranger things have happened…I guess cheat days just don’t work for me…but again I did think I deserved it ..

Liz – did you have occasional cheat days when you were losing steadily ?

Dee – I am so sorry to hear about your dh and his condition …I know this is also very stressful on your as well…you do a great job of keeping your positive attitude up …makes me realize how lucky I am with my health, even with my small issues. Glad he has some meds that give him some comfort.

Mandy – nice to see you back on here, please come on a post more, we miss ya !!!

Hi Susie – hope you had a good weekend !!!

Miss my Arabella, Auntie G, Liz, and Mel on here !!

The DST has me SO tired this morning …getting up an hour earlier is really hard on this old body, haha

Have a great day everyone !

Morning ....looks like just me again so far today :)

Nothing exciting going on, still trying to get the water weight off from my cheat day, now instead of it showing me up two pounds it only shows me up one...either way it still sucks...I will work all week to just get back to what I was last Saturday :( oh well, you pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and start all over again .... right?

Have a great day everyone !!!!!!
