Thanks jolly, same7! Well, I'm not really OK, but it's the usual these days. Fighting on though! I'll try to be back soon! Best of luck to you and all the others!

Oh, wow, jolly, I just saw that your completed your challenges!!! Congratulations!!!

Ugh day for me; only slept about 2 hrs last night, so slept all afternoon.

Glad to see others starting to come back - hi Red and thesame7pounds!

Jolly - when you finish your last challenge, will you start a new thread, or continue on this one?

My remaining challenge status is: Pencil in my menu for the next day -- Day 19 (2/3 pauses left)

1) Daily posting - day 21, 3/3 pauses left CHALLENGE COMPLETE
2) Follow exercise plan - day 21, 1/3 pauses left CHALLENGE COMPLETE
3) No deep fried foods - day 21, 2/3 pauses left CHALLANGE COMPLETE
4) Follow menu - day 21, 0/3 pauses left CHALLENGE COMPLETE

Whew. Finally. All done. Thanks for the congrats all. I am going to sit a day or two, then start the new ones. Need a second to get ready for some tough challenges. Especially since I finished these by the hair of my chinny chin chin.

SeaWave, Red is the official thread starter. So, since we are not anywhere close to maxing out the posts on this thread, I will leave it up to her to start a new thread when she is ready for a new challenge. And she will be. I have faith And we all will keep plugging along, doing what we can to better ourselves and loving life.

However, to all "lurkers" - come out come out wherever you are! We need YOU!

Jolly, congrats on finishing your challenges! And I would never call them American Cockers! Especially if you promise to never say "Blond Labrador!"

Well, at 5:15 pm it was an 'ugh' day, but I did 45 minutes of exercise between 10:00-10:45 pm, and I feel great! Just had to share.

Hope everyone has a nice sleep!

Good morning all. Way to go Sea Wave on getting your exercise in. Amy, LMAO. Have a yellow lab, do you? Though, the yellows I have known have been a bit blonde. My grandfather had one whose registered name was "Toby of No Hope." I swear. And yes, he was hopeless.

I need to vent this morning. I am feeling ucky. I was such a lemming. I bought something for dinner last night that is an every couple month indulgance. I bought a larger size, so I could freeze some for lunches. But I see my sister eat more, so what do I do Eat more. Eat too much, don't freeze any. . . I feel ucky, and like such a dumb lemming. Add to that my knee is flaring up again, so I did NOT work out this morning.

Lord, just help me through the day. I will start my challenges tomorrow, and get on with getting on.

Everyone else, have a fabulous day

Well, not very busy here today. Hope that is because everyone is out making great choices, and living life to the fullest.

I did not get exercise in today, but did try to mitigate some bad food choices throughout the rest of the day.

I will be starting the following challenges tomorrow, 9/15/10:

1) Daily posting, 3/3 pauses
2) Only adding salt to tomatoes, 3/3 pauses
3) measuring portion sizes/calories for 75% of my daily intake, 3/3 pauses
4) Get at least 7 hours of sleep on non school nights, and at least 6 on school nights, 3/3 pauses.

this will be tough, but I think I am up for the challenge. Have a good night all

Web, thesame7lbs -- keep on trucking! Web, you're more than 1/3 of the way through!

Red - in case you're lurking... haven't forgotten you, still sending your way!

Jolly --- --- You're done!
I hope your day went better as it progressed. I'll be joining you soon on new challenges as mine will be done tomorrow. I just need to get a battery for my pedometer first (now there's a hint of things to come ) Also, thanks for explaining thread protocol. I'm relatively new, and hadn't realized Red was the 'owner', as it were. Again, if you're lurking, sorry Red!

My remaining challenge status is: Pencil in my menu for the next day -- Day 20 (2/3 pauses left). I'm eager to set my sights on new goals with some new tools I've found, and get some space between my starting and current weight. The number on the left side of that weight tracker sure looks huge! It took me a couple of tries before I figured out why!

Red, I see you are in Tokyo. I am a complete Japan-o-phile (Nipponophile?). Maybe for a pick-me-up you could get down to Kyoto next month when the leaves start turning? I was there in October one year and the Japanese maples in the temples were stunning!

1. Stay on plan (1700 calories): Day 2 (2/2 pauses left)

Feels so good to be back on plan and with a commitment to keep on it! I'm going to add:

2. In bed by 10:30. This is a level 3. Actually a level 21, but I don't think that's allowed. We'll see how it goes.

Good morning all. Good luck with your new challenge Amy. I hear you on the level 21. I feel the same about my sleep one. It is so hard, and to do it, I will ACTUALLY HAVE TO MOVE FASTER IN THE MORNING I really prefer to slowly ease into my day. SeaWave, congrats on last day of challenge, and can't wait to hear your new one. I keep thinking about getting a budy bugg like they use on Biggest Loser. Webrover, keep up the good work. Red, tossing you a line now - to help you pull yourself up

Have a good day all.

Thanks for the line, jolly! Others, heh there! I am trying ...kind of...to get a new line on life is really what it's about. this year has been absolute ****...and i have a feeling it ain't over yet. thank god, it's cooling off here at last. same7, a japanophile eh? how long did you spend here? yeah, the momiji are pretty, but money is my big problem now so i don't think i'll get to kyoto. still, i go to yamanashi every week and the mountains are so beautiful they almost bring tears to my eyes (i am a mountain nut). i think the colors may be nice there too...later.
well....that was a start....first to get posting and then maybe push myself to do some new and unusual challenges......sigh

I've been looking for this challenge.

1. No eating past 10:30 p.m. Level 2
day 0

2. No sugared sodas, level 1
day 0

I probably have more I want to do, but I'll start with these 2.
