Thank you all. Your words of encouragement are greatly appreciated. I will try to write later. I did make the challenges. I almost didn't but I did. I kept thinking that .... actually I can't remember what I was thinking...but I almost smoked and didn't.

1) Daily posting - day 13, 3/3 pauses left
2) Follow exercise plan - day 13, 3/3 pauses left
3) No deep fried foods - day 13, 3/3 pauses left
4) Follow menu - day 13, 3/3 pauses left

Met all challenges for the day, despite my issues. Barely, though. I am not going crazy on of any type, but am eating more than I should. Well, for now I will take the victory of not choosing bad foods, and work on the poritions next. Here's to another day.

Justmerose - way to go. Red, glad you made it through another day. Remember, we are always here for you.

Good night all

Hi - I've been stalled and missing some things to be able to say I'm 100% on plan, so I'd like to join in for at least a little while til I get back on track.

1. Drink at least 48 ounces of water daily - Day 0 (3/3 pauses left)
2. Eat only "on plan" foods - Day 0 (3/3 pauses left)
3. Log foods contemporaneously - Day 0 (3/3 pauses left)

Very bad night tonight. Not sure what triggered it, but to steal from a Country Western song . . . my give a damn was busted. I feel physically ill. I am trying not to obsess on it too much, as that will just make it more likely I will feel bad and make bad choices tomorrow too. Though I really hope not, as I feel SICK.

One teeny bit of good news - I got my orthotics, and new running shoes, and the therapist's ok to start slow but try jogging again.

Welcome WebRover, way to go JustMe, and howdy do to SeaWave too

Hey Jolly - just a note to send over some to help you fix your 'give a damn'. Just remember how crappy you felt last night, and how great you'll feel today putting those new shoes to use!

Everyone else - have a great day!

Thanks SeaWave. You are right. Today is another day. Didn't try out my running shoes this morning. Because of yesterday's choices, I ended up with acid reflux last night. Never a good morning after that. But the demons appear gone for the moment, and I am back on track with my eating. Will be with my exercise too, once my old dog settles done enough I can do my yoga tape. YIKES.

How are you doing?

Everyone else Have a great holiday weekend!

1) Daily posting - day 15, 3/3 pauses left
2) Follow exercise plan - day 14, 2/3 pauses left
3) No deep fried foods - day 14, 2/3 pauses left
4) Follow menu - day 14, 2/3 pauses left

(for yesterday)

Took a pause on deep frieds yesterday, but it was a planned one. Went to the fair and had part of a special treat. Shared though, so didn't eat the whole thing they serve you. Not completely back on track, but getting there. My body did not apprecaite the poor choices, so I am getting the picture.

Red, just sending you love and positive vibes that things get better. SeaWave, good going on your challenges. Everyone else present and lurking Gotta run go help a friend get her mother packed to move. Later.
