Way to go on 17 days complete, Red.

I am feeling bad today. I did not make it to the pool last night. Even though I know I should do extra workouts whenever possible (especially with school starting back up in a few weeks!), I did not. This is why I get up at the butt crack of dawn. I have a real hard time owrking out at night. Have to figure out how to make it happen.

Didn't get my workout in this morning either. Two late night calls - one work, one a friend in need - left me very tired. Will try to get it in tonight, but it will only be one, not the second one I had wanted for tonight too.

Sigh.

Have a better day all

jolly, it sounds like you're having a rough time too. There's a lot weighing on my mind and work as well and I am finding it very hard to concentrate on the work that must get done. My challenges are OK but that's only because they involve NOT doing something....
In your case, don't get too down on yourself whatever you do. One trick I do when I really don't feel like it is to just say, go to the gym, you don't have to do anything. Once there, often I'll work out more than I thought I would, finding the energy once I'm there. Other times, though, I won't work out but that's OK because I said I didn't have to. Getting there though is important. That's more the habit than the content often.
Good luck and take care.

Jolly - You'll know you feel better if you can get to the gym tonight or go for a run or something, and I agree with Red...don't get down on yourself no matter what. You're a good person to be there for a friend.

Red - I'm sooooo proud of you! You are doing FANTASTIC with your challenges!!! Keep up the great work!

I did an hour of Zumba last night, which was a blast!! Tonight is the Thriller Dance practice, followed by an hour of an intense strength training class. We did a lot of toning moves so my legs and arms are especially sore already.

Here's where I'm at...

80 oz. water - 8/21 - 0 pauses allowed
5 servings fruit/veggies - 8/21 - 0 pauses allowed
At least 30 min. cardio - 8/21 - 0 pauses allowed
10 pushups/day - 8/21 - 3 pauses left
2 minutes of planks per day - 8/21 - 3 pauses left
50 crunches and 20 reverse crunches per day - 8/21 - 3 pauses left

weight is back down, but only down to where it was earlier....and I have NOT been eating...very discouraging. At this pace, I will never get to my ultimate goal... Sorry, feeling so disgusted with my life and so sorry for myself. And really hating the common belief that helping others helps yourself....it ain't that simple nor is it as pleasurable as it's made out to be...in fact, i ain't feeling much pleasure at all...sigh, can't go into it....

Hello everyone.

I've been away a really long time and just wanted to pop in to say hi.

I'll be back eventually. I'm still lurking daily and posting here and there.

Keep up the great work.

Hey all. Despite the positive vibes, I used the lack of sleep as an excuse to make bad choices all day. I am off to bed here in a couple minutes. I need to work on backup plans for those tired days. With school starting, there will be more of them.

Michelle, good job with all of your stuff. Red, we need to talk later. When I can hopefully have a few brain cells fired up.

No sodas/frappes - flunked
Day 11 - 5 daily servings of fruits/veggies - 1/2 pauses left.

Good night all.

Red - Congrats on the weight being down. You say you are not eating...are you eating at all or enough? You will get to your ultimate goal. Perserverance, my friend. I understand your frustration with your life, given all you're dealing with, and I'm sure I don't even know half of it. And an occasional pity party is allowed. Please email me or FB message me if you want to talk about the "other" stuff. I am SO SO proud of you for being close to completing your challenges!!!

Marcia - So nice to hear from you. Glad you're still at least lurking around here. While it's helpful to post on 3FC...lurking is the next best thing because you can learn much from others' experiences and insights.

Jolly - Okay...so bad choices yesterday. Water under the bridge - probably a bad analogy given all the rain we've been having in Wisconsin. Anyway, it's the start of a new day and a new opportunity to make better choices.

Stephanie - Hope you are feeling better today, and that you get to exercise in your nice cool house.

Last night, I did Thriller dance practice, and a local news crew was there filming us. We'll probably be on the news tonight to publicize the Guiness World Record we're attempting to break on 7/31. Hopefully, I won't be in too many shots...I looked like a fat, sweaty mess last night. But practice was way fun! After Thriller practice, I did an hour long intense strength training class. Then I got very little sleep because of big thunderstorms all night. But Aleve will combat my soreness and coffee will cure my sleepiness.

Here's where I'm at...

80 oz. water - 9/21 - 0 pauses allowed
5 servings fruit/veggies - 9/21 - 0 pauses allowed
At least 30 min. cardio - 9/21 - 0 pauses allowed
10 pushups/day - 9/21 - 3 pauses left
2 minutes of planks per day - 9/21 - 3 pauses left
50 crunches and 20 reverse crunches per day - 9/21 - 3 pauses left

I changed my mind, I decided to make no frappe a level one versus level 2.

No frappes - 1/21 - 0/1 pauses
Exercise at least 20 minutes - 1/21 - 0/2 pauses

Hey all. Hi Shad. way to go Red Stephanie, glad you got AC again. Good job getting back in there. Michelle, do you have a link to your news clip???

I need to regroup and start over. Eating has been horrid the last few days. A lot of stress. I feel like I am going to lose my ever loving mind. Will try to post more tonight.
