Hey everybody! I think I'm going to not do my workout for a little while. At least until I get my AC fixed! Last night, around 2 a.m., it was 92 degrees inside my house. We bought an air conditioner for one room (being my parents room) so I stayed in there for the night. I think I'm going to focus on that no frappe goal. I can resume the workout one at a safer time.

Made it! Though I had extremely realistic dreams last night of eating sugar....didn't realize I was missing it.

Hey all. Not doing so hot with the food choices today, and I can feel it. Blech. Will try not to repeat at least these particular mistakes again.

Day 5 - no frappes or sodas - 0/2 pauses left
Day 7 - 5 servings of fruits/veggies - 2/2 pauses left

I did get my shopping done, including ingredients to try Michelle's recipe, and all put away, my bills paid, my lawn mowed (complete with weekly dose of malaria and heartworm! ) The mowing was really my only cardio for day, but got a lot done overall. Glad I got the lawn mowed. Then I don't have to worry about mowing it while on call this weekend, and I might even have time to go get my nails done. Woo hoo

Have a good one all. Off to bed.

The scale showed the choices i mad this week. Well, i can't change today's weigh in. All I can do is use it to make better choices. Not to skimp on my workouts, and not make healthier food choices. Keep to my menu and planner. I can do this, and I will.

I pulled out my blender while I was cleaning, so it is all set for me to try out the recipe.

I did not, however, run or go to the yoga class today. I am on call for Saturday and Sunday, and got my first call at 12:47am. I figured I had better not get too far away from my phone. I will do my yoga tape at home tonight.

Everyone, hope you are having a good day

Two weeks done. It seems like much, much longer. I wish I could say I felt better but I don't. The things I am giving up, however, would certainly not be helping anything, so I am going to stick with it!

jolly, your "choices" may not have helped with weight loss, but your keeping determined to make better ones WILL help eventually. It's a slow process, one of re-learning or learning for the first time a LOT of things that all have to come together for a healthy body. Your efforts must be applauded. Keep it up!!

Hellooooooo

Day 7 - no frappes or sodas - 0/2 pauses left
Day 9 - 5 daily servings of fruits/veggies - 2/2 pauses left

Did a lot today. Still can't believe how much. And made better choices overall. Woo hoo. There was something else i was going to say, but that train of thought derailed.

Hope everyone is ok and having a good weekend.

Hi all Just had to pop on quick. Yeah. Can you hear "Eye of the Tiger" playing? I again had to convince myself to even step foot outside this morning, but once I did, I did 2 miles without stopping. I feel so good at least until I stiffen up later

Have a great day all!

Hi everyone -

Had a busy weekend full of Zumba-ing, fishing and working in the garden.

Here's where I'm at...

80 oz. water - 6/21 - 0 pauses allowed
5 servings fruit/veggies - 6/21 - 0 pauses allowed
At least 30 min. cardio - 6/21 - 0 pauses allowed
10 pushups/day - 6/21 - 3 pauses left
2 minutes of planks per day - 6/21 - 3 pauses left
50 crunches and 20 reverse crunches per day - 6/21 - 3 pauses left

Red - Congrats on being 2/3 of the way done! You are doing great!

Jolly - Yes, I can hear Eye of the Tiger. I was wondering where it was coming from since Summerfest is over and I don't have my radio on. Now I know it's coming from you!! Great job!!

Gotta run....lots to get done today.

Hugs,

Thanks, diyana, I don't know how or why I'm doing it....just figure NOT doing it isn't going to help the real problems in my life....

Way to go to both of you, Red and Michelle. Awesome dedication!

Michelle, I tried the recipe this morning. Needs a little tweaking, but it's gonna work!

Day 8 - no sodas or frappes - 0/2 pauses left
Day 10 - 5 daily servings fruits/veggies - 2/2 pauses left.

Off to bed I am tired!

Red - I'm soooo proud of you to be working so diligently at your challenge and staying in control, despite everything else you have going on! Big and and and to you, girlfriend.

Jolly - I'm so glad the recipe is going to work for you!!

Crazy afternoon/evening yesterday. Lots of exercise...an hour of Zumba, 1/2 hour of strength training, and more weight lifting when I got home and had to carry 65 lbs of dogs (in two trips) down to the basement (and back upstairs later) due to a tornado warning, which ended up moving to the south of us. All is well, and ready to start another day of work followed by Zumba.

Here's where I'm at...

80 oz. water - 7/21 - 0 pauses allowed
5 servings fruit/veggies - 7/21 - 0 pauses allowed
At least 30 min. cardio - 7/21 - 0 pauses allowed
10 pushups/day - 7/21 - 3 pauses left
2 minutes of planks per day - 7/21 - 3 pauses left
50 crunches and 20 reverse crunches per day - 7/21 - 3 pauses left

Way to go Michelle. Welcome Tootsie. So, what are you going to do for 21 days?

I need positive energy sent my way. I need to go swim tonight, but sitting on the couch seems so much better. Bed seems so much better. Give me some good butt kicks

Day 9 - no sodas or frappes - 0/2 pauses left
Day 11 - 5 daily servings fruits/veggies - 2/2 pauses left. Well, will be once I snarf down a V8 or fruit after I swim

Day
