Hey everyone! I'm new to this challenge, and I'm hoping to form some new good habits I've always loved challenges like this!

Tomorrow will begin my first day of my
21 day challenge of working out 20 minutes everyday

Oh Caela . . . NOT a Jillian fan??? I don't even know what to say.

Michelle, hate to argue with you too, but Wisconsin summers aren't short enough! Too much bugs and humidity!!! I wish we could have 9 months of Fall!

Howdy do to Stephanie too - I love your quote. It is often too easy to hold on to the familiar, instead of risking change to be better. I will have to hold onto that quote.

Red

Well, day 7/21 - no soda and no frappe. All pauses left.

I am beyond tired. Made some good and bad choices today, but even saw some improvement on the bad choices. Not as bad as they would have been. And I really love that the bad choices physically feel bad now. this is a good thing. Well, maybe not for anyone down wind from me, after the bad dairy choice I have my lawn mowed, my shopping done, my bills paid. I even bought a healthier spicy chicken choice, baked it, chopped it up, portioned it, and froze it for salads and soups. Baby steps here.

Now to treat the malaria or heartworm I got mowing the lawn (D!@$ mosquitoes!), and get a bit of sleep.

Good night all.

@jollygirl Hey to you too Glad you like my quote! It has always been one of my favorites! I can't wait until I get to the point with my health again that the bad choices will FEEL bad. Sadly, I'm not there yet, but I hope to make it soon I should also do a challenge with no frappe! They are just too good, and at the same time so bad!

Day 1/21 - exercise for 20 minutes DONE

I woke up super early (3 a.m. to be exact) because I went to lay down after I got off of work because I had a horrible headache. I slept through the whole night and it felt amazing!

So this morning I took advantage of the bit of extra time I had and walked for 70 minutes on the treadmill! 3.6 miles! It does feel great

Jolly - you are right about summers...I dislike the humidity. Can we have 1 month of winter (in December), 5 months of spring and 6 months of Fall?

Stephanie - You're off to a great start on your exercise challenge.

Red -

I am totally frustrated about feeling lousy. I should've just stayed home sick today, but I had important meetings...notice the past tense. I come in to work to find they've been cancelled/postponed 'till next week. AAAARGH! I need to get feeling better and get started on some challenges. I mowed the lawn yesterday...so at least I got something accomplished before I collapsed for the evening.

Don't stay away too long Red. We're here, and you can do it.

Michelle, feel better soon!!

Stephanie, you'll get there. Don't worry about the big pix, just worry abut one choice at a time, and it will come. Good for you doing extra treadmill time. That rocks!

I overate a little bt at dinner out with family. Will see what the scale says tomorrow. I will really have to watch it, and keep my exercise up - I have my brother's birthday party tomorrow, my girlfriends coming over Sunday, then leave for a 3 day work trip. All = lots of eating. But one day at a time, one choice at a time.

Day 8, no frappes and no soda. All pauses left.

Have a good night all

Day 2/21 - exercise for at least 20 minutes DONE

I woke up late today! When I wake up late like that, I never feel like doing anything. I just got over it and got on that treadmill. I walked for 62 minutes 3.11 miles! I'm really glad I'm a part of this group! I think it is the kind of motivation I needed to get back on it

Okay, I've decided to hop on board! I have two challenges for myself.

1. Level 3: At least 60 minutes of exercise a day
2. Level 1: Spend at least 20 minutes with my hedgehog everyday. He had a little accident recently and his leg might be broken (we're getting it checked out tomorrow.) I feel absolutely awful that I've been too busy to give him attention everyday. Now with his (possibly) broken leg, I'd really like to be there for him everyday.

:Halfhazard and homiegiiib. Please to meet you. on your challenges.
Sorry to hear about the possibly broken leg of your hedgehog.

Jolly~ you're doing great with the workouts, I've only managed 1 workout day this week-good thing I do not have any challenge on that department.

Diyana~ hope you feel better real soon.

Red~ trying to find your mojo, eh? same thing here I had to take another pause day, and guess what?- I'm up to almost -40 weekly points
C'mon out and play anyway We sure miss you.

Anyone else I missed~ have a great WE.

Morning all. I really overdid yesterday at brother's party. Have to be more careful. Then, overslept this morning, and running late. Have to finish cleaning, grooming the dogs, and get butt to the gym. Hopefully have time to start packing before my friends come over. Spend time with the dogs.

I think I need a vacation from my weekend

Good to see you Yorkie. Half - sounds like good first challenges. Hope your hedgehog is ok. Stephanie, WAY TO GO on your mileage Impressive. Keep it up.

Well, better get back to my list. HAve a good day all

Talking My New Challenge

Hi there,

I like this challenge concept - 21 days is a good timeframe for new habits! I'd like to do the No Fast Food Challenge - this a tough one for me and the family, and it's one that I need to do for everyone's benefit but especially my son's.

Level 2 Challenge:
No Fast Food
Walk 2 miles each day

Today is Day 1

We CAN DO this - just Drive On By

Mary

@fittermom123 Welcome! I really like your challenge! One day I hope to do a fast food challenge as well! That would be a very difficult one for me! Best of luck to you!

Day 3/21 - exercise for at least 20 minutes DONE

Today I exercised for about 37 minutes and did 1.72 miles oon the treadmill before I left the house to go anywhere! I also went to the park today with a friend of mine (it was a spontaneous plan by the way haha). May I just say, it was way to hot to be at a park, haha. But I sucked it up and dealt with it :P I guess it was good for me to go out and get some sun anyways haha! Hope everyone had a splendid weekend

My sinuses are really getting to me...and the congestion is starting to get into my chest which is no fun. My boss suggested I get to the doc today before it really gets in my lungs (he knows I have asthma), so I'm leaving work a bit early for the appt. If my lungs are okay and my energy is up for it, I'm gonna try and Zumba tonight...and I want to definitely Zumba tomorrow as a co-worker said she wanted to go with me.

Still trying to figure out a few challenges to start. I'll have some figured out by tomorrow....I promise.
