I am going to like the furniture. Mine was so old that it was getting to be a hazzard, except fot the living room furniture. I dreaded buying the sectional sofa. It just didn't fit any where. The bed slept very good.
Yesterday I did some looking at one of the local home improvment stores. and walked back to the wood area. I shouldn't have done this. I had an allergy attack from the saw dust last night that went full blown by this morning. I ended up in the doctor's office. He said that my throat was swollen and red. They were cutting some wood. He gave me an injection with two rx's, amoxil and allegra d. He said if the allegra d didn't help that he would raise the dosage.
The scale also showed me weighing in at 198 pounds. My heart sank. I suppose that while eating healthy I maintained but since I haven't been eating healthy I've gained. Some of it may be fluid pounds. I keep forgetting to take the bp med which has a fluid pill in it. ugh. I'm going back to eating as healthy as possible but I'm going to have to cut back on calories. 1400 is my new limit and I will be writing everything down.
Exercise has been 15 minutes on the bike and I'll do another 15 minutes before bed time. I did read an article in a magazine while waitng for the doctor that if you take omega 3 fish oil and exercise 45 minutes per day that you would lose some weight. I take fish oil for heart health(it does wonders for my cholesterol levels) but it's like the bp med I don't take it every day.
Every one have a good week end. I'm suppose to go eat lunch with my uncles tomorrow. It's been a while since I've been to paragould. Don't tell my aunt but I kinda miss her.
Morning all,
Think I told you that I wasn't receiving e-mail through my ISP site. Well I had a few words, most of them were not very polite. I sent an email message stating that I was able to send, but not receive, that I had thought it was the fire wall at work but had tried an iternet cafe and the qantas site and I still couln't get my mail please ring and explain in simple terms preferably with an Aussie accent.
Last night at the Qantas Club I had trouble with their computers - in fact everyone was having troubles with them. So I hauled out the laptop and got a hotspot (Qantas wireless network which I can use on my on laptop because I have a wireless card) and holy moly the e-mail downloaded and downloaded and downloaed and downloaded. I'm wending my way through them. I came across a message from the ISP giving me a solution to my problem! WTF What part of can't download my mail don't they actually get. However they have given me a workaround if it happens some more - and it will as they are doing things to the site! It's a known problem! Well hello, did you think to tell anyone that the problem may happen???? IDIOTS. What part of IT COMMUNICATIONS (which is where they work) do they not understand. I may need a few more words - not many of those will be polite either.
Annie - glad to hear you are feeling better, but I hope you don't infect the rest of the wedding party. You might get the popularity contest for that.
Mel - Saturday, your time it is. Talk to you then
Happy - good to know the pensioner is keeping himself busy and occupied in beautifying the world. You should have a great garden this year.
Ceejay - missing the aunt. Wonders never cease.
Okay - I am off to get a haircut. Do a spot of shopping - new underwear is on the cards and then get into the sunshine.

Good morning chicks,
I set the alarm this morning so I wouldn't sleep too late. Was going to have coffee on the patio but Mr. Feral was snoozing on the porch. Phone rang and woke him up so I fed him and he sauntered off. DH and I had coffee and watched the birds.
Now I need to go plant my herbs. It's a gorgeous day out - sunny but not too hot. Great for working outside. And that's just what I intend to do.
Just wanted to wish you all a big howdy, hope you enjoy your weekend.
SHAD....YA KNOW I JUST HAD TO COME HERE TO SEE IF THE PICTURE WE SPOKE OF GOT POSTED! SAVANNAH IS ADORABLE. HER LITTLE EYES SO WIDE OPEN TOO! Awwww....I AM GOING TO SEND IT TO JEN INCASE THEY DON'T HEAD BACK HERE DURING THE WEEK. I THINK TODAY WAS THE FIRST TIME I HAVE LAUGHED LIKE THAT SINCE LAST WEEK!!! I AM GLAD WE FIND THE WORLD SUCH A HUMOROUS PLACE!!
Geez Mel - you even spelt humourous right. oh oh on second thoughts no you didn't.
I went around to meet and greet the wee girl this morning and she is vocalising away there - she's her mother's child alright. We had a great chat and I told her all about her grandad. Not sure he was too happy about that.
She is an alert little thing.
SHADDIE~ HEY I SPELLED HUMOROUS RIGHT IN THIS COUNTRY NO "OU"S IN THIS COUNTRY. THE WEE LASS IS SOOO CUTE. I WULL SENDD THIS PIC ON AS WELL. SO GLAD YOU CAME HOME AND GOT TO SEE HER. SHE IS AN ALERT BABY. JUST LOOOOOK AT THOSE PEEPERS!! JEN WAS LIKE THAT TOO. ALWAYS EYES WIDE OPEN. HAVE SAFE TRAVELS MY SOUTHERN FRIEND.
CEEJAY~ HOPE YOU WILL BE FEELING BETTER SOON. THE WEATHER NOW IS NO TIME FOR BEING SICK AND COOPED UP INDOORS.

JOLLY~ BUSY BEE! TAKE SOME TIME OUT FOR YOU TOO!
THOUGHT I WOULD STOP IN TODAY. TOMORROW I HAVE SOME BUSINESS TO TAKE CARE OF IN THE OFFICE AND IT WILL BE A BUSY DAY. THE OFFICE IS STILL SHORTHANDED. JEN AND I GOT A LOT DONE EVEN THOUGH I WAS IN AND OUT OF THE LOO SATURDAY. WE CLEARED OUT THE KITCHEN. SHE TOOK EVERYTHING SHE COULD USE FOR THE TRAILER AND I PUT THE REST OF THE STUFF IN A BOX FOR THE SENIORS TO GO THRU. NEITHER ONE OF US ARE THE BIG COOKS WE USED TO BE. NOW IT'S ALL WITHIN MY REACH. WITHOUT JIMMY WORKING HERE AND WHEN JEN IS GONE...IT'S NO FUN TRYING TO GET STUFF OFF THE TOP SHELVES AND HAVING IT ALL FALL ON MY HEAD
TODAY I AM SORTING THE FILE CABINET. THE BLDG IS SO QUIET THAT I KNOW I CAN GET A LOT DONE. A POT OF MILD CHILI IS ON THE STOVE, RICE IS COOKED, VEGGIES ARE STEAMED, AND EGGS ARE ON THE BOIL. I GOT UP EARLY WITH THE LOO AGAIN AND THOUGHT I MAY AS WELL STAY UP AND COOK FOR THE WEEK. GOING TO EAT "CLEAN" THIS WEEK AND GET OFF THE SINUS MEDS. KILLING MY STOMACH
HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND AND HAPPY MONDAY AS WELL.
Geez Mel - sounds like you need to take time for you too. And I am glad I am not crazy, at least not for that reason. I thought you had spelled humorous right!
Shad, your grandniece looks adorable. Glad you got to go see her.
Had a great day at the drag races on Friday. Lots and lots of fun! Did way too much walking and standing, but sat when I needed a break. We left the house at 7 am Friday morning and got back after midnight. Yesterday, I slept in and just wanted to relax the rest of the day. Today will be a fairly lazy day as well since it's cloudy and cool, though we're going to go run errands later. I'm going to try and get some freelance website work done also. I've got a pot roast cooking in the crock pot for dinner, which will make for an easy, relaxing evening for me. I was planning on hitting the gym yesterday and today, but was too sore from all the walking yesterday. Still did my PT exercises though.
Shad - Little Savannah is a beauty! Thanks for posting the photo! So nice that you got to spend some time with the little one!
Annie - I hope the Augmentin has kicked in and that your sinuses and bronchitis are clearing up. Hope you had a nice trip to St. Louis. As for your question about does the acupuncture hurt? I hardly feel about 99% of the needles, but sometimes he gets one in just the "right" spot where it hurts but then it eases up right away. He puts electrical current through some of the needles and I can feel that but it doesn't really hurt.
Ceejay - I hope you had a nice weekend in Paragould and feel better after your saw dust allergy attack. Omega 3 fish oil and 45 minutes daily exercise those are good suggestions from the article! Thanks for sharing!
Patty - Please send some sunshine my way too. It's so chilly and dreary, my DMIL doesn't want to leave the house! She's demanding warmer weather (but not too hot) and PRONTO!
Happy - Sounds like you had a nice Saturday! Coffee, bird watching and working in the yard! Gotta love spring/summer!
Mel - Glad you got the kitchen cleaned out. Always nice to have stuff within reach. Don't work too hard in the office.
Jolly - Nice that you had some girl time with your sister in her new house. How's everything else going with you?
This is one tired puppy, been draggin all day. Fast drive to St. Louie on Friday night, got in there 10 pm ish. Came back last night, got in 11:00 pm ish. Just wears me out, must be gett old. Went to a BD BBQ today, was quite nice, played corn hole for a bit and a bit of Euchre' (sp) with mom and dad.
I am feeling better but still hacking somewhat. The shower was really nice. It was at an Italian restaurant. Food was baked ravioli, masticholl(sp), italian meatballs, italian salad all of which was delish. and of course cake. It was a short but nice visit.
Shad... the great niece is such a darling. Back to the grindstone tomorrow. Yike.
MEL...I could go for a bowl of chili, kick back and watch you work. lol
Ms. Chelle...glad you had fun at the drag races. Sounds like exercise enough without hitting the gym.
Jolly..I hate it when this eats my posts.
Happy...enjoy your java.
Ceejay...just keep chugging away at the healthy eating it will pay off later.
Well, guess I'd better get off of here, and try and post some pix. Got a big ole fat zit on my chin I need to zap. How old do you have to be to quit this crap?
