look who cant keep quiet - me
hehehe
i think i figure that i am posting round and round in circles, i have all the right ideas i definately know what to do to lose weight but almost cant be bothered
although getting my century was sure a wake up call
yes i need a plan
and my life is becoming more "plan a ble" at the moment so things are good
it is a little bit funny that my gym has just stopped direct debiting so membership over
however now that i am not breastfeeding i dont have that as an excuse in the back of my mind to eat a little more (however i was not even eating good stuff extra so jem is better off without my milk...)
its kinda funny i JUST got the guys to move my cross trainer to somewhere almost unusable.... so i will do something about that

my goal is still to drink more water - been doing heaps better but maybe only JUST mostly achieving my 2L per day
once i conqure that i will move on.... however by drinking more water it means hopefully i will not think i am hungry as often and eat less food

i have noticed though lately i am STARVING all the time and that is weird for me, usually i just eat coz i like food not coz i think i need to ho hum

vonni - photo of hair please??
gen - i would love to be in the snow! it is so humid in brissy i hate it.... although i hear the northern territory is worse for that so i wont complain (too much)
lindor - good luck with the move..... you should bring extras of all sorts of stuff coz havent the roads from QLD been blocked with floods lately?? so you could blackmartket lots of goodies
ani - do you get set breaks with your different shifts or just go whenever you are told to?? my breaks are so random even if i work the same shift twice i never know if my break will be anywhere near a meal time..

Yay I'm so glad you're still around and posting Kel That must be so hard not knowing when your breaks will be and not knowing if they'll be near a meal time The structure of my working day and knowing exactly when all of my breaks are is one of the biggest things that keeps me on track during the week! Anyway, stick with it girl and never forget that we're all here for you whenever you need us

I had a great day yesterday up until the point when I met up with a bunch of current and old workmates. I'd planned that I had enough points left to have a few drinks but then I gave in to temptation and had a pizza bread and dips platter. Doh!

Back on form today though and I'll be going to the gym tonight and will definitely be sticking to my points.

Lindor, I hope you enjoy your "surprise" afternoon tea today

Kel my breaks can be pretty random too - I try and plan as much as possible, but it doesn't always work. Why can't you be bothered making a plan? What's going on?

Julia don't worry about one off-plan meal. We all do it, and the thing that matters is that you leave it behind and make better decisions today.

I decided yesterday that even though I work in a physical job, I need to get back into walking for exercise. I'm going to start off slowly - 30 minutes, five times a week - and see how I go.

Lindor are you still packing? When do you hit the road?

Amy! Where are you?

I left work for the last time this afternoon...I'm feeling a little sad about it all now. I have worked there for nearly 8yrs and although I've had some pretty challenging moments where I have just wanted to walk out, I realised today that I have also met some really nice people...and lost some too

If I am feeling this low after finishing work today how the heck am I going to feel on Sunday when I drive out of the town I have lived in for 17yrs??? That is as good as half my life!!!

My farewell afternoon tea was a bit of a joke...the person making the presentation had all her facts about me wrong, but in my usual manner, I joked it off.

Gen, I got a job in Darwin back in November...I have since been up there to have a look, find a house to buy etc. I officially start work there at the end of January.

Vonni...love there hair! I was under the impression it was going to be realllly short!! I think what you have makes you look younger!

Ani! Wait for me...I want to do the half hour walks with you!

Alright...gotta move!

Probably won't post again now before my arrival in Darwin - lots to do tomorrow and on the road very early Sunday!

Oh yeah, on a happier note...I also got the phone call to tell me the settlement on the purchase of my house was completed today and the place is now officially mine.

Congrts on the house Lindor. It's no wonder that you're feeling sad to be moving on but just think of the possibilities for change that moving to a new place will bring. You'll be right mate, just take it one step at a time.

Yup Yup, love the hair Vonni

I had an awesome day yesterday. Was really good with my diet and had a good session at the gym with 30 minutes worth of weights and 60 minutes of cardio.

Now it's the weekend and that's where the real challenge begins. My goal is to stick to my normal eating habits - eat at around the same times that I normally would at work - and to stick to my points!

Hope you all have a great weekend.

Vonni I LOVE Peanut - and your hair looks awesome!

Lindor be safe on those roads matey. It's always sad leaving something so familiar and comfortable, but you are making a massive change in your life - and a really good one.

And of course I will wait for you. When you get to Darwin let's do some virtual walking together.

My goal for today is to hydrate myself. Even though I have averaged over 2L water/day for the last two weeks, the temperature has averaged over 35ºC a day - every day - and I don't feel like I have had enough water.

Ani you love cats.... I have a dillema. Peanut is a fleabag. I bath him, i have a flea collar on him, i give him flea knockdown tablets and use flea powder. I still cant seem to keep the damn things off of him for more than 2 days. I don't have a problem with snoopys fur and he is a himalayan persion. Peanut is just a short haired mongrel breed lol.

If you can afford it get him some Revolution or Frontline - one of those hideously expensive things that you just dab on the back of his neck. I use it on my cats and it worms/fleas them, and it's really good. Really bloody expensive, but the only thing that really works.
