Hi All~I did an hour of stepping yesterday watching my ball game.

Monte~I think some times we get burned out on exercise. Maybe you need to mix it up a bit, or maybe you are bored with the same old routine??

Miriam~WTG with the walking!

Catch ya all later Pat

Pat - I don't think bored is the problem, just laziness. All I want to do is eat icecream and watch tv. My body is tired of taking care of itself, and just wants to kick back and relax.

Hi everyone,
I did the first day of week 4 today. Too lazy yesterday. Another toughie but I did it. So I am still exercising but of course reluctantly ! I am so rewarding myself with the kettlebells that I talked about not so long ago (www.getkbells.com). Can't wait!

Sarah--Its great too hear you are getting so much usage out of your treadmill already.

Monte--Please give us a race report when you finish your 5K on Saturday.

Miriam--I do Jillian Michael's "Frontsides" and "Backsides" for strength training.

Only did 5 miles today, and took yesterday off. Don't want to strain myself or anything.

Thanks to all you gals out there, I'm back on track and losing weight consistantly again! You are all so inspiring to me!

Sarah~You go girl!! I love the name Sarah, that is my grand daughters name, she is 7. Keep up the great workouts. I didn't step yesterday, way to tired.

Monte~I totally relate!! I would rather watch tv and eat ice cream also. Reluctant exerciser here!!

for Sarah and for Shay! You go ladies!

How are you doing Dixie?

DD5 starts school tomorrow and that's my kick-in-the-rear to get back on my early morning cardio routines.

Plus it is getting SO much cooler here, so it will be less obnoxious (to me) to hit that no-AC gym before I head home after dropping her at school.

Snapless--I was thrown off for a minute when you said your daughter starts school tomorrow (Sunday) but I looked and noticed that you are in Japan.

I did Day 2 and 3 of week 4 yesterday and today. Never again, meaning I don't like back to back. So I have to make an extra effort to do it on alternate days. So only Tues, Thurs, Sat or Mon, Wed, Fri. I will order my reward for making it through 4 weeks straight of exercise most likely tomorrow.

Oh yeah, I don't know what the scale is saying because I have been a good girl and not getting on it but some of my 18s feel a bit loose. I plan to add weight training in September--Jillan's Frontsides & Backsides and the Kettlenetics so that will help even more. I don't plan to add days but do my wogging and strength training on the same day. I will be on vacation the first two weeks of September and will probably go to the gym that first week before heading to Myrtle Beach the second week.

Thumbs up

Hey everybody! I have missed you all. I have been subbing and working and carpooling-oh my! But I did good this week and got in my exercise goal for the week. I got to both water aerobics classes and my tap class. Friday I took off 'cuz my one hip and opposite ankle were sore. I was on call Friday and Saturday nights, so I was exhausted today. Did get in about 30 minutes of mall walking this afternoon. Don't know what the scale says, but maybe it will be kind tomorrow morning.

Hi, all you new people I haven't met the last 10 days or so.

Happy Monday, see you tomorrow.

Kathy

I completed my 5k on Saturday. It wasn't my best time (46:11), but it wasn't bad either. After I finished that much I walked about 5 miles more, for a total distance of 8 miles. Then I weedeated (is that how one writes that word?) the back yard (we have MILES of flowerbeds), so Sunday I only exercised about 30 mins in the pool.

Kathy--You did a great job of getting your exercise in despite your busy schedule. Good for you.

Monte--You finished the 5K and tacked on an additional 5 miles??? Great job!

Pat--Good luck with YOAD.

I forgot to order my kettlenetics so I will do that today.

Just checking in-

Walked 3 miles on Sat. and just finished another 3 today. Don't think I will be doing 10 miles again anytime soon. Now I need to shower and get my backside in gear and get to the store!

I haven't been doing ANY exercise - unless you count beating the crap out of the kids (just kidding, of course) - my DH & stepkids are away and I've been at home with the little rugrats and they have run me ragged. We're going to my sister's house till thrusday night - should be nice to have a change of scenery. Wonder how my workoholic personality will take being away form my office for that long. hmmm. We're going horseback riding today and swimming tomorrow (haven't been since last year) so that should be SOME type of exercise! Oh - of course if TOM holds off for a few days or otherwise I'm screwed.

Well hello to y'all and you keep going!!!!

Pat--I'm so not dancey myself so it is suprising I want to order this...but I am quite the adapter so I know I can make it work. I will definitely let you know how it goes.
