You know, Iv'e experimented with meds for years after I was diagnosed, having all kinds of side effects. One of them made me lactate, and when I went in to find out what the problem was, I found out I have a pitutary tumor! God does indeed work in mysterious ways!
Medication in itself was very stressfull, so I quit taking them in Feb of 07. Since then, I think I've actually maintained, and even improved! I owe a lot of it to my Hubby, and moving into a big new home!
I still get hit with it every now and then. But at least I know it wont last forever!

I tried to do some weights @ my club, but ended up re-injuring an old injury & needless, THAT turned me off IMMEDIATELY !
But I do get up every day & do my thing -- just want to add some variety.
Mollikins! What about some body weight exercises: squats, lunges, pushups, planks, leg lifts, shoulder press, bicep curls, etc and then you can move on to small dumbells and move your way up. Pilates is also a great toner. You would not be able to do some of the exercises but there are some you can.
Mollikins! I'm sure you'll feel right at home here.
Way to go Pat!
Arn't you going to be a slim little madam!! How do you do ab crunches? I feel so stupid asking!! I've been thinking of trying to excersise a little more each day, ....but....it just sounds so daunting, grudge work. It's hard to get out of a seditentary lifestyle!
yesterday -- maintaining speeds from 14-16mph. Got heart rate up to 145bpm but maintained it at 135bpm !!!
