Thanks for the encouragement Kim. I just finished my 2 miles. It was easier today than Tuesday. I feel really good.

I didn't get to exercise yesterday b/c it was a murphy's law type of day (whatever could go wrong did), but today I am going to watch my new pilates DVD and give it a try.

I just wanted to mention something I saw on tv related to exercising (I have since found it to be true for me).

If you find that some day's you are able to walk less distance or less time (or do any other exercise less than usual, but everything else like sleep and stress are the same), it may be due to your water intake.

Apparently when you drink more before you exercise (rather than just replenishing after) you are more hydrated and able to work out harder. I would imagine this is particularly true in the morning after you've slept all night and not had any water (unless you're like me and you wake up a lot to drink in the middle of the night).

Hope this info is helpful.

Friday morning---

32 minutes ofn the TM today. That's five straight days for me this week. A personal best.

BASHFUL---thanks for the info on drinking water before. Sounds logical and a pretty good idea.

Okay, so yesterday I watched the pilates dvd. It's a little too hard at this weight (my stomach is a little too big for a lot of the positions), so I put it in the cabinet and did 45 min of yoga instead. I'll take the pilates back out when I've lost a little more weight.

Today 30 min TM
5 min warm up
