taco bake is a staple in this house. It's really great as a burrito wrapped in a ww tortilla during Phase 2 as well. I love dressing it up like a taco with chopped tomatoes, onions, and sour cream. I also really like to add brown rice to the bean mixture on the bottom during Phase 2.

It's on the menu regularly at our house too. I have varied the beans and like black beans on the bottom instead of refried ones.

I have a taco bake in the freezer -- I am saving it for Thursday night when my MIL comes! Woo hoo! I do need a dinner idea for tomorrow night though...hmmm....maybe I'll go look at the recipes?

I have to say I peeked and was down a few more pounds today too! woo hoo! I looove this program. It has always worked best for me!

Default Chicken Divan & Cookies

The results of this recipe was mixed at our house. Kait and I liked it, the boys did not, but since the girls are on the program we rule! The biggest comment was the taste of vinegar. I used a generic Miracle Whip and I think that was the problem. I think if I would have used true Mayo, the vinegar taste wouldn't exist.

I also made the PB cookies. They were kinda good but dry. I wonder if a splash of milk would have helped? I only baked them for 7 minutes but they fell apart at the slightest touch and had a funky after taste to them. I couldn't even dunk them in the milk I saved for them because they fell apart. Any ideas from anyone that's made them?

For dinner tonight we are having the Deep Dish Pizza. I'll let ya know how that goes.

No weight loss from yesterday to today, but I skipped breakfast yesterday so that may be why. I didn't do it intentionally, but I was busy at work and forgot all about eating (I make my breakfast at work). So, with that reminder - off I go!

My sister is 4'11" and weighs 102 pounds (yes, we have the same parents). I got all the personality. She says things like "I forgot to eat!" Makes me want to smack her!

Chelby that cracks me up! I'm usually so focused on food that I never forgot to eat, but I've been pretty well satiated on this diet and with my morning decaf coffee and all the work around me, I was too busy. I noticed at 11 that I was hungry, so I ate my lunch and then ate a boiled egg (my breakfast) at 2. I was good until I got home for dinner at 6!

I've been doing SBD for about 7 weeks. That may be a record. I love that I'm never hungry. But, I still never forget to eat.

You are getting close to your goal! Yay! I'm "officially" 99 pounds from my goal and I plan on doing SB to get there and maintain. I'm not looking forward to Ph2 when the pounds come off slower as I want to get to 199 by May 15.

This morning, I was 185, so 15 pounds gone. WooHoo!!! My goal is 160. I'm planning on doing this forever, and I don't see why I can't. I don't feel like I'm suffering on a diet.

Chelby Darlin', I'm a tad concerned. Have you been on Phase I for seven weeks or are you just posting in the Phase I thread to support the others?

I think she's a thread jumper and supporter. I've seen her posted on other threads. I was a bit worried at first, too, but her pic clicked in my foggy student nurse brain as being seen somewhere else. I have been perusing the recipe threads, though, so maybe that is where I saw her.

Carrots are sweet! I ordered a mixed veggie thing sans carrots and one crept in. I wasn't paying attention and I bit into something sweet. When I dug around I noticed a carrot! I honestly did not know that they tasted sweet. I guess being without sugar for this long has really cleansed the pallet!
