I ate a tiny piece of birthday cake for my son's party, but other than that, I've been right on plan. I get some intense carb cravings after breakfast, but the rest of the day, I'm good.
I decided to do one more day on P1 so I could have one more weigh in before going to P2. Lost 2.5 pounds since last Friday---wasn't as great a loss as I had hoped for, but I feel really good about it nonetheless. That makes 8.5 lbs total for P1
I think I will have to actually make my daily walk a daily walk, rather than a biweekly one
I finished my first week and lost just over a kilo. I am really happy with that! I made sure I wasn't hungry and didn't really get too concerned with losing weight but rather cutting out the carb cravings. I haven't been craving any carbs since the first 2 days so that is wonderful.
I probably wont be online much as I have a massive amount of papers due. I will try and check back in later next week to see how everyone is going.

I have my next weigh in tonight at the gym and I'm looking forward to it as I totally rawked it this weekend exercising and hiking and what not. Congrats to all you ladies with the good results and to anyone feeling weak! You can do it!

Jenny, glad your headaches are gone. You're a better woman than I am going without the coffee. So far I'm doing half regular/half decaf....thinking about doing 1/3 regular/2/3 decaf and see how that goes. I'm sure your weigh in will be awesome
I'm not really having any cravings for carbs anymore, which i think is a good thing. I hope it pays off for saturday's weigh in. The front of my stomach is looking different... i hope ive lost some inches.
Well ladies and gents I made it through phase 1!!!!
I lost 11 lbs.!!! I think that is a pretty good start. To bad others haven't noticed yet. It will come I know. I brought back oatmeal for breakfast this morning but I could just not stomach it. (I was an instant oatmeal regular before the beach) Is there a cereal that I can get that I can use in place of this or should I pick something else to add for the first week in phase 2? I like dry cereal in a bag that I could grab and go any ideas would be great.
I am still nervous about moving to the next phase but I know where to go for support. THANKS.

I'm still here, just haven't been able to post. Things have been hectic both at home and here at work.
Everyone is doing so GREAT!!! Congrats to you all. It's been getting easier and easier to do this and reading all the great posts really gets the motivation to continue.
