Di ~ I've been eating the South Beach way since January 2004, and that's how I lost my weight. It's the only diet that's ever worked for me. I really have to buckle down, though, and get serious about losing these last few lbs. I've been bouncing around for way to long! How did your chops turn out? Your idea sounded pretty good. When I make the Tex-Mex porkchops, I usually only marinate the meat for several hours, and they turn out great.

that's a great NSV!!!! I know I'm going to have a tough one on Sunday, it's my niece's 1st birthday and we are Italian...so you know what that means...lots of great Italian food. As long as there are meatballs, I'm all set...tee hee
Garbanzos sound good, I know I have a couple cans in the pantry so I think I'm going to toast some as a snack.
