I don't know about everyone else, but I have been within a lb of my goal for about 3 challenges now, and then have gotten lazy and blown it. This time I am going to get my a$$ in gear and just do it!
Labour Day is Sept 1 this year.
My goal is to get back to my goal weight, 148, by then!!!
I will do this by journaling, exercising, and attending meetings all summer long!

Hope you had a great time on your vacate days. I was within .4# this time...My goal for Labor day is to be to 160. That gives me almost 2 months to lose 10 lbs. I think this seems like a reasonable thing! I have 6.2# to have my 10%. I'm going to start getting out and running. Hopefully I will be running 2 miles by Sept 1. Thats about all of my goals. I have been getting my water. Maybe I will try to learn to like rabbit food. I know we can do this .
Sept 1 sounds like a good challenge date. This time my goal will to be down to 180 (15# less). To get there I will journal, drink my water, stay within my points range and exercise.
I was really doing good on my walking but the last 2 weeks have been slacking off and really had a bad long weekend that basically put me back to where I started last time.
Anyway, no sense stressing more about it.

Ailee- How did your apartment hunt go? (I know it was awhile ago, but never heard!) When does school start again? Good luck with the running!
Bandit2- Good luck getting back at the walking!! Are you still motivated by the tapes?
I should be motivated by the prospects of soccer season starting in 4 weeks, and being a PE teacher in 8 weeks, but I am so lazy right now!
My vacation was great, but all that eating put my weight up higher than it has been in months! Hopefully it was mostly water and undigested food...
It will be a big help next week when dh gets paid, so I can get healthy groceries and a gym membership!!

Yes, when I do my tape I still like it. Lately, it has been really hot
and I have been very busy (and lazy).
If I get in a routine I am fine, but it seem if I get away from things it take me awhile to get back on track.
Same with food - if I have stuff that puts me over points, instead of accepting it & getting back to it - I seem to have a free for all, which really makes for a high-point day.
I am totally like that too, and I can't seem to get over it! Yesterday was fine until evening, then I got bored and hungry and went crazy! I will never get to goal acting like that!! I need to start going to the gym, I think that would help a lot. It has been so hot that walking with the baby hasn't been an option.
I am going to try to stay in a reasonable pts range for the weekend. I can't WI next Tues, so I know that will make it harder to stick to it... Oh well, I will do the best I can!
I am going to try to look up some new info online, maybe that will help!

I'm in on this challenge. My goal is to lose 10 pounds. And to keep it off! I will do this by increasing my exercise and staying within my points. And drinking my water. I will NOT let the weekends kill my goal. That is where my problem is. I seem to think that I can eat whatever I want on the weekends and it will be okay. And that is not working. My goal weight for 9/1/03 is 170!!!!!
Cool another challange I am going to stick to it this time. I am like th rest I get down 5 lbs or so then I think I can eat whatever I want then it all comes back. I lose motivation in the last couple weeks. This time is different I planned my meals and even planned snacks. I am going to eat the same time everyday. I made a schedule for excercise.

Well, I had hoped to start going to the gym today...but have realized that I just can't afford it. It is either the gym or soccer, and dh and I do soccer together, so that is the winner. I am going to commit to walking daily, as well as doing abs daily. I have not been journaling this week, but plan to get back at that too. I felt so good about my body until I stopped journaling- so I guess I know the way to get that feeling back again!
Right now I just feel lumpy and bumpy and unattractive! Enough whining, I am off to do some ab work!
Well after my awful eating binge weekend before last - I got back on track last week and lost most of what I went up - was down 4.4# last night at weigh in. So I was happy with that but am still up a little from where I was. Bascially back to where I was before our last challenge. I tell you - that same 5# keeps coming & going & I am really tired of seeing those same numbers.
Back in challenge mode - and will to my journal, drink my water
and get more exercise.
I like the idea of this challenge. I have been messing around all year - had lost 13 lbs. and haven't done anything for a couple of months now. I still have 30 pounds to go, but maybe 10 lbs. is a good goal for labor day. I pledge to begin exercising today and getting more water.
I was suppose to weigh today. I just couldn't get the scales out and do it. I was terrified of how much I gained over the holiday. I might try to on Thursday.
Shella- Just do it. It is better to know and deal with it, than to keep putting it off. A number can't hurt you unless you let it!
I didn't want to weigh in the week (again) since I haven't journalled in over 3 weeks. BUT I went anyway, and was down .6. Thats just a weird fluke, though. Next week there will be a real loss.
My first mini goal is to get rid of the 6lbs I have gained through my laziness in the past few weeks!

I can identify with everyone on the messing around part.
My big thing is that I would like to conceive our second child as soon as my body is ready again, but I should get back to goal first. That can be my new motivator!
Did any of you get pregnant while nursing other children? It's all so confusing!

Hello all. I know I have been MIA for a while but my comp hasnt been letting me post. Last week at WI I had lost 2 lbs. I WI Saturday of this week and HOPE that it will be down in the 160s.
Saskie- I got the apt hunting done...Found one that I absolutely love, and am on a waiting list..should know by the 18th. If one doesnt come open there is a second place that is just as nice, a little bigger, but it isnt on a golf course or close to Matt. (THe prospect from the beginning of this summer)
Shella- I know its hard to step on those scales but its always better to know exactly how you did do. It may help you pinpoint stuff later on. PLus that number for me is a big motivator.
Judmom- Way to go on planning the meals and snacks..I should probably do that too.
Bandit2- COngrats on the 4.4#....I just love big loses.
Bshearon- I hope that you will stay with the challenge and that we can be of help to you.
