Scarlett, you rock! This is just the motivation I need right now.
I cannot believe that we are 5 weeks into this challenge. Where is the time going?! I had planned on being a little further ahead in weight loss at this point. It's time for me to reflect on what I've been doing and perhaps tweak a few things.
So I am learning that just because my job hosts a party or an event with free food does not mean that I must eat! I can be just as discerning as I would be at any other time. If I like the food and I want some, I'll eat. Otherwise, I'll pass and get a drink and chat or something.
Also, I'm learning that if other people cannot accept the fact that I'm not hungry/don't want any food, it's THEIR problem. I don't have to eat to make anyone happy. After all,
I have to live in this body, not them.
